Like father, like son (Jeremy tags any)

Jeremy and his family had adjusted to daylight savings time and made it to church that morning, despite being a tad sleepy.

Once the service was over, the family headed to the local all you can eat salad bar/steak house for lunch. Jeremy was the first out of the car holding the door for his folks and Julia. "Age before beauty Jewels." He teased her.

"Pearls before swine Jere!' She shot back with a grin. Jeremy stuck his tongue out as she passed him.

"Okay kids, that's enough." James grinned at his kids' antics. "What are you guys going to get?"

"I'll have the salad bar and diet coke." Julia replied.

"New York sirloin, medium well, salad bar and iced tea for me." Jeremy gave his order.

As the quartet waited in line a voice came from behind them. "Good morning mister Warner, you look good today."

Not knowing which Warner was being address both James and Jeremy turned around and said, "Thanks."

Jade and Alex had been seated next to a window, their parents were back at the house doing god only knew what. They had come from their local church, it tended to be a regular thing though Jade had not been since the shooting at the school. Jade was dressed in a suit and tie another thing his parents insisted upon, you had to show the family in the best light. Which on a Sunday meant suit and tie when you attended church.

"I can't believe you decided to go against the doctor's orders." Alex muttered as Jade undid the suit blazer then placed it on the back of his chair.

"You didn't seriously expect me to actually get driven everywhere did you, or at least until they said my arm was good enough to drive. It does tend to be okay on short distance journeys such as to and from school. If I had an automatic it might be easier on my arm, but I can't complain." Jade said to him Alex smiled.

Jade's eyes widened when he saw Jeremy and his family enter the restaurant. "Don't look now but my favourite family just walked into this place." Jade said to Alex who looked around and smiled.

"Oh god I'm about to become a twin widower." Alex said as Jade stood up putting his suit jacket back on before heading over to the family.

"Good morning mister Warner, you look good today." Jade said with a playful smile on his face when they both said thanks Jade's smile widened. "We were just sitting down for some after service late breakfast/brunch." Jade said. "Small world." he added.

"Coincidence, that was our plan too. But then its a Sunday tradition unless someone has other plans." Jeremy replied smiling a little shyly, he hadn't had a chance to spend time with Jade as of late with show rehearsals.

"So is it the whole circus or just you and Alex?" He remembered how the rest of the family had been. "If it is the two of you, how about joining us at our table? I'm sure it'd be no trouble." Jere couldn't help himself, he wanted to spend time with his boyfriend.

Jade smiled he was reserved as he didn't want to embarrass himself or Jeremy by kissing him in front of his parents, so he gave the family a bright smile. Though he wanted to do more he chose not to at that moment in time. "We decided to run as far as we could from our parents and sister, choosing to make our own lunch plans. I think they wanted to do a BBQ or something, point being we wanted to eat as soon as." Jade said to them.

"It is definitely just me and Alex your welcome to join us, I can't remember you having met my younger brother." Jade said to them all. "I need to talk to you all anyway." Jade said to them. "Its nothing bad, just something that my parents have demanded I ask." Jade said to them.

Jade smiled reassuringly at Jeremy, hopefully Jeremy knew him enough to know that he wasn't about to drop a huge bombshell on them all. "We are just over here, if you just want a family only thing I can ask here... but we'd be more than happy for the company." Jade said to them watching his manners with the family and not really wanting to annoy the parents. He didnt have a good record with Julia so it was more of a difficult task to be polite with the girl.
