Some Stuff to Consider

Get grip woman! FINE! I will have a ponder and try and come up with something half sensible - don't hold your breath on tht sensible part though!

And I may (MAY!) make one other character - not sure yet (sort of snagged a face off the celebrities page in case I go down that alley) - not sure yet if I might make him a teaching assistant (really undecided!)

Sooo... been thinking on this (aka nagged into replying! ;P) and here is my tuppence worth (aka 2 cents!)

Name: Silver/Gould (Gold?) - symbols are ag and au respectively. Sooo... name suggestion of Agau High School (ok that is very firmly tongue in cheek and not really terribly serious!) How about after one of the local Native American tribes (one for you, Sarissa LOL!) like Serrano or Mohave High.

Colours: The silver/gold black idea already suggested works I reckon

Subjects: A lot of work to change them all and I don't honestly see the need (did I mention I am lazy??) - you could have a 'suggestions thread' for people to request certain subjects to be included maybe?

Yearbook: What's one of them? Being a Brit we don't have 'em so no clue what to suggest there really.

Time changes: I like the 2 weeks/game day as well. Sounds good as a game day can feel like it lasts an aternity some times (albeit a short eternity but you get the idea)

Prom: Same old I'm a Brit' excuse applies

And for whoever who's bound to reply to this thread, when I say yearbook, I meant the one on the wiki! If you went HERE and HERE THAT'S what I meant by yearbook. Would you like to keep it like that all nice and separate? Or would you like me to just make it like THIS with separations ie Senior, Junior, Sophomore and Freshman?

We definitely need to speed things up, like Miami said a lot of minor plots happen to fast and are over to quickly in game... and we don't really have a fast enough sim to do the big stuff. I mean its been nearly a year ooc since the school shooting and we basically aren't to far away in game from when that happened. If we do anything else major we will look like complete numpties and make our realistic sim unrealistic.

This is just me but I love all the character to character plots, but I would love a faster paced sim where we can do more global stories that impact our characters. Even if its just random news on the tele that has people talking, to minor events like pigs being let lose in the school creating havoc. Or someone who hates the jocks during practice steals all of their clothes and leaves a load of basketballs in their place or protective cups you know. Stuff that would be fun to happen (Not necessarily serious) just random events that happen during the course of a month at the school or what ever that give us stuff we can write about.

I mean theirs plenty of global event stuff that we can do which would have no lasting impact on our characters while giving us all a good laugh or something for the characters to talk about.

We definitely don't use GG as much as we used to do.

Bring back the mayhem and let their be some chaos.

I'm not really effected by the jump forward I lose Freddie but I will be replacing him with his brother Nick so I lose nothing.

For subjects I am not sure what else to add, maybe something like mythology would be a cool class, as one to add.Also maybe equestrian class. Those are ideas that really stand out to me when I thought on it.

School name is hard but maybe something like the Werewolves as a mascot.And for a name maybe Los Angeles High, not the best but the only thing I could come with.

I think the time change is good at five days.It is a good lenght of time and lots of stuff gets done in that time.

Prom is fun to think of. Maybe a theme that has a Night With The Stars, where you get all fancy, have a red carpet, and your picture taken going down the red carpet, just like a celebrity event. Or maybe something like retro, I saw a idea for a 50's theme, or even 40's.Something like that would be a lot of fun.

So I'm boring so for school name all I have is calling it Gould-Silver. It's simple and it won't completely change the name of the game.

As for the time changes, I personally like how it is. I wouldn't mind having the board have say before school and lunch the same week as well as after school and evening the same week to speed things up but I like having a whole week to post and I kind of like that we don't rush things b/c life is constantly up and down for me and if we moved too fast I don't know that I could keep up.

Prom...hmm my prom themes were just song names. That's all I got. Unless you want me to pull out the Never Been Kissed Famous Couples from the Past thing lol

As for classes I say we just pick either Silver's class schedule or Gould's and use that. Its not super important to the game, aside from figuring out how characters might know one another anyway, so who cares what classes they are in.

That's all I got...I probably missed some stuff but there was just sooooo much to read before I commented that I might have meaning totally skimmed through most of it.

Okay. SO I am new around here but I figured I would give my input just a bit.

I guess my biggest concern is I am not sure I like the whole gold and silver color idea for the school. They both seem to be more the accent color. I personally think that maybe a change for a new beginning is a good idea. Something completely different.

If you haven't decided on prom type stuff as well I could do some damage there good damage of course. I love planning that type of thing and could throw out ideas for either. Right now it is only 5:30 in the morning though so I have given my input but as for ideas I am blank. Maybe I will come back later and expand a bit.
