Greenlee figured the weather was perfect for the beach. Hopefully the sand would be dry and the sun was shining, so that was progress. She was not sure if the water would be warm or cold, but she could at least go lay by the beach, read and maybe do some homework. She didn't need to swim to enjoy herself. Greenlee just had to get out of her Aunt's house. She had forced Greenlee to come home after finding her staying at someone elses place.
Greenlee hated her house. No one there wanted her, so why should she stay. She could not wait to be a senior and graduate. One more year. Seemed like a far way away. Greenlee felt so alone. Friends would help of course, but it seemed so hard keeping them. Then again perhaps Greenlee had a face that said use me, abuse me and leave me. Which was quite depressing.
So what did someone do when depressed, they went some where that made them happy. Like the beach. So Greenlee gathered her books, and a blanket, and headed for the one place she loved to be. she wore a tank top and short jean shorts. She had a towel in case she tired her luck in the water. her bikini was under neath. But she doubted she would test the waters.
She found a nice spot and laid out. She began to sit Indian style. She began to read, getting caught in the book as she slowly moved her legs to stretch out, which was not a smart move cause all the sudden someone fell right on her legs. Which was embarrassing cause no doubt she tripped the person. "So...sorry."

They'd come down to the beach, Nick would be joining them on monday which would make a nice change of pace. It had been a while since he had seen his brother, and his brother hadn't seen the twins yet in person so it would be good for him to see them. Maybe they could finally get back to being a family unit, though he wouldn't hold his breath on this it hadn't been easy for them this year.
He was brought out of his thoughts by some one tripping him up, causing him to land on his ass with a thud and a pained yelp. Sand even after the rain could cause a painful landing. The girl apologising stoped him from over reacting, said girl seemed to mean her apologising and one of the twins weren't in his arms. That would have caused him to over react for sure, well he wouldn't have seen it that way but then he'd have a reason to be annoyed.
"Its fine honestly, no harm done... well my but and ego may have taken a knock but the rest of me is just fine." Freddie said in as normal a voice as he could manage with his accent, the last thing he wanted to come across as was snooty and stuck up. Penny gave him an odd look and his sister giggled as he righted himself. "How are your feet hopefully not to much damage was done?" he asked.

Greenlee looked at the guy for a moment. First she sort of recognized him from school, which made this worse. Second he had kids with him. Oh thank god none of the kids were hurt. Oh she would have felt so guilty and horrible and really would have hated herself for that. First the trip in the hall and now this. Greenlee was on a roll where falling was concerned and that was not a good thing at all.
"My feet are strong, they will recover." Greenlee said smiling. She was glad the guy seemed okay and was not mad. She hated getting yelled at. Sure it was her fault, but she still hated getting yelled at and it made her cower like a scared little girl, but this guy was nice, which helped a lot. "I was not watching as I stretched out. Very bad habit of mine. Especially when I am reading." Greenlee placed the book down. "I'm Greenlee. Pleasure to meet you, even if I wish the meeting could have been less eventful." She said meaning she would have rather met him and his family in another way cause causing him to trip was embarrassing.

Freddie smiled at her, "Don't worry about it accidents happen, I am Freddie and this is my wife Penny, the squirt next to her is my sister and the twins are in the buggy. You could call us a slightly smaller version of the Brady bunch or something." Freddie introduced them all. "I really wouldn't worry about your feet, this stuff happens, it might have been different if I was holding one of the kids but I wasn't so all is forgiven." he told her with a smile on his face.
"Excuse him he can be a bit of a fool, all you hurt was his pride." Penny supplied Freddie looked at her incredulously before chuckling. "We thought we would come down to the beach for some family time, especially since someone and I'm not talking about the kids either. Has been wanting to come down to the beach all week." Penny said shaking her head at Freddie. "I honestly don't know who is the child in the family at times." she added.
"Oh how you wound me dear wife." Freddie put on an afronted look. "You wouldn't deny me my toys now would you, or the simple pleasures in life... you love me to much." Freddie asked her batting his eye lashes at her. "You go to Gould right?" he asked trying to get his mind back on track as he turned his attention back to Greenlee.

It had been a good day so far. Minus having to trudge into the blandness of the local mall, Liz had enjoyed herself. Even being knocked on her ass by Ben wasn't too bad, he was kinda in the yummy area. They'd spent a few hours walking on the beach, talking and whatnot, and he had her number, so if he wanted to actually go out, he could call.
The Brit wanted to get just a little more color on her face before her date tonight with Fefe, and she honestly could not wait. Liz had changed into a bathing suit that she had purchaded at the mall, a skimpy 2 piece that showed PLENTY of skin, hugging her delicious curves like a second skin. She filled it out well, and she knew it. There had been eyes on her the entire time she walked around. She wore a lightweight silk sarong around her waist.
LizBeth was on her way back toward the car, her bag over her shoulder and her heels in her fingers when she stopped cold. She had just passed a group of people, some on a blanket with infants and another pair standing next to it. It wasn't the group thta stopped her...it was the accented voice. Alfred "Freddie" Franklin...and his little wife...and spawn?! Liz's family had been part of the same social circle as the Franklins, and Liz would lie if asked but she had a Serious thing for Freddie back then. So strong in fact, that she had pleaded with her father to arrange her with him, but it was not to be. Liz was paired with Heath and Freddie with...Penelope. Even the girl's name turned Liz's stomach, acid churning to the point where she wanted to vomit last weeks food.
He said *Gould* Seriously?! Was the universe freaking against her?! What a clusterfuck. This was not happening to her. It felt as if someone had sucked the air out of the world.
She stood so that her shadow fell over Penny and the babies on the blanket, only a few feet from Freddie. "He was always rather child-like wasn't he...and Penny..you look...well..you can hardly see the baby weight at all..." She spoke sweetly, her lips curling into a taunting smile. Her heart hurt just standing her..but the Brit was so masochistic, she couldn't stop herself.

"How old are the little ones, they are adorable." Greenlee said looking at them. She waved at the younger sister, "Hi, nice to meet you." She said making sure to include her. She stood up from the ground so as not to seem rude and brushed herself off. She laughed at the interaction between husband and wife. They looked good together and that was a good thing, "Yes, I am Gould, guilty as charged. I usually help in the office before and after school. Believe it or not, I chose to do that." She said, "I was told it looks great on college applications for next year, and I fell for it." Greenlee said joking.
Of course it was more of a personal choice then she made it seem, but no one needed to know that did thay. She didn't need to seem like more of a dork, she already had a bag full of books with her. "I can't blame Freddie for wanting to get out doors, the weather yesterday was awful, and I hate being stuck indoors too." She smirked. "Although, Penny you seem quite capable of handling, three kids." She said still joking with Penny about him being a kid. Or at least she hoped it was still a laughing joke. She had bad timing sometimes.
Just then a woman with the same accent showed up and of course addressed the other two and not her. She did it rather rudly too, but Greenlee just kept quiet. She was not one to make waves if she could avoid it. At least not right in this moment.

Freddie smiled, "Their two weeks old so pretty young, but rather than stay in the house we decided to get out and get some sun. Its to good a day to stay at home." Freddie explained he smiled endulgently at his wife. "Their nice when their like this, but you wake up to them in the middle of the night when all you want to do is sleep. Its not a nice experience, but all you want to do is stop their crying because it breaks your heart." Freddie said to her showing the much softer side to him Penny chuckled.
"Big softy." his sister said hands on hips.
When Liz made her presence known and was more than a little insulting to Penny the older woman chose to ignore her, she was more than a little aware of the fact that the girl was jealous of her and the girl didn't seem able to hide it.
"I see your of your usual sunny disposition Liz." Freddie commented. "Greenlee this is the soon to be Lady LizBeth Livingstone, we used to move about in the same circles when we lived back home." Freddie said formally though he wanted to say much more about the insult levelled at his wife, he looked at Penny and exchanged small tight nods. He would not show himself in a bad light and by extension the family and its name. Bad manors were not an excuse he was going to use, so he would not return the barbs sent there way. "I didn't realise you had moved to LA, such a small world really... are you at a local public school or did you sign up to a private school?" he asked her politely.

Liz looked over at the girl that she did not know, looking her over for a moment. She had realized that she was there, but making her presence known to the Franklins had been just slightly more important, though proper manners would say otherwise. She smiled...slightly, resting her hands on her hips. It was taking a LOT of personal inner strength right now not to break down in front of them. Freddie had been the center of her interest for a long time, and when he had been married to Penny..it had hurt, a lot.
"Greenlee? That's...different." Liz answered, holding out her hand to the other girl. "And he is incorrect. It's not Soon to be..it IS Lady Elizabeth...I go by Liz or LizBeth mostly...it's soon to be Duchess, come December anyway..." The brit looked over at Freddie for a moment before her eyes settled on Penny and the babies. "Penny..forgive me..my comment was not meant to insult...you do look good for someone who has had children recently.." More flies with honey then vinegar right?
Her attention was pulled back to Freddie as he was talking to her. "I didn't move..I was forced...Spencer made me as his office is based here.." He would know about her family lawyer, so she wouldn't havev to explain. "I would give anything to go home to Winterhaven..or god help me a private school here...but he saw fit to enroll me in Gould.." She sighed softly, her guards lowering just a bit. "I suppose it has its perks.." Yep! A hot Brazilian who was taking her out tonight, and a laid back blond yummy.
"I heard about your parents..I'm sorry.." Liz spoke softly, looking at Freddie for a moment.

Penny smiled at the girl if she had been in the right mood she may have put the girl in her place, and what was more she would have enjoyed it after the insulting tone that she had taken with Penny with regard to her looks after recently given birth to twins... what the hell did the silly little girl expect miracles she thought to herself.
"Why thank you Beth, considering its not been a month yet I shall take that as the compliment I think you meant it to be." Penny said to her Freddie hid the smile behind his hand as he tried not to show his amusement which would probably annoy his wife. Penny would not take kindly to him finding this whole conversation amusing.
When he heard her mention being forced to be here in LA he couldn't help but laugh, it was hard to adjust to live changing events that they had both been through. But here was a girl his age claiming to be a lady and still having to take orders from family. Yeah that was a sure sign of someone who was a lady of nothing but her own life. Which was still being controlled by someone else.
"I'm sorry to hear that, you still take orders from someone even though your a lady soon to be a duchess I'm guessing that sits well with you." he said to her.
"Thank you, its been a while since it happened but like your self, I am still trying to find my footing with regard to the estate left to me by my parents. Which includes the issue with Nicks upbringing, he should be here within the next couple of days." he said to her.

Greenlee shook the other girls hand. "Nice to mmet you. My mom named me after a character on her favorite soap opera." She said softly. It was not always the best thing to say, but it was the truth. Greenlee did not care if someone thought it was stupid or not. Okay perhaps she cared a little, but it was memories of watching that soap opera with her mom when she was a young child, that kept her smiling sometimes. Greenlee was snapped out of thoughts of her mother when LizBeth and Freddie mentioned something about parents.
She looked from Penny, to Freddie, to LizBeth, back to Freddie. "Did your parents die? I am sorry if that's the case. I lost my parents too. I live with my Aunt and Uncle now." Greenlee chimed in. It was a sad thing, but she had never met anyone who knew what it was like. She just hoped her assumption was right, cause if not then she just made herself look like a fool.
"So obviously you all are from London, do you like the culture change between here and London?" She asked curious cause it was obvious LizBeth was not happy, but Freddie and Penny seemed to be. "Is Nick your brother?" She asked. "If you guys ever want someone to show you around I would be happy to play tour guide." It would give her something to do.
