Jay was ready. He even dressed sort of nice. Well as nice as one could be for the day he had planned. It would be a good one, if he did say so himself. Beginning with the carnival. Not original of course, but that was kind of the point. That was the set up. Its what came after the carnival that would get Lexi, now called Dash into his clutches. He was fully prepared for a challenge. He was not sure what kind of challenge Lexi would be, but if the yesterday was any indication, jay was going to love it.
He did his research. It was not hard to sweet talk the brunette in the office for Lexi's file. People like her should not work in an office if it was that easy to get information. Then he asked around during lunch and found out lots of pretty things about the girl named Dash. Jay was ready for his date and would arrive exactly at noon. A good way to begin the day.
Jay had a full day planned. Something that would take them well into the night. If he had his way, well into the morning. Especially since he heard her disappear with Tyler, and he saw them kissing. The girl seemed like she was down for a good time. If not, then he would make sure to end the date on a good note either way.
Jay drove over to her house and got out of the car. With a smile on his face he knocked on the door. Just by looking at him, jay looked harmless. Like a good clean cut guy. Which Jay could be, but he could be a bastard as well. Just not around the ladies of course. He rang the bell and waited until someone answer, and who should it be but the object, or person he was seeking. "Dash, you look good." He smirked. "Ready for out date?"

She couldn't lie. She was damn excited for the date Jay promised would be unforgettable. Lexi had to admit she had already set a high expectation when it came to Jay. He must have had done this a hundred times to know what would be good for what type of girls. Lexi didn't even realise just how stupid she was being, trying to go on dates with a guy who had way more experience than she could ever imagine.
Then again...what if he had given up? Maybe he didn't have time to get information on her. She wouldn't be surprised if he didn't find anything out about her but then again...though she wasn't conventionally what you call a popular girl, people knew her for specific things. She was one of the fastest swimmers, hence the nickname Dash from her last name Dashwood-Dune. She was one of the friendliest among her peers and she says hi to almost everyone she meets. Her name was one that was passed around in good context. For now anyway.
But she wasn't going to let the thought of Jay not coming over ruin her day. She slipped into some frayed washed out jeans, a figure hugging long sleeve t-shirt and a denim sleeveless cropped jacket. She had tied her hair up into a messy bun and was about to just head out for a stroll when a knock on the door startled her. Could it be...? A peek at the peep hole on the door suggested that it could! She released her hair from her bun and stowed her scrunchie in her pocket for later use. Shaking her hair out, she mussed it up so he wouldn't know that she had been preparing for this date since this morning.
Running her fingers through her hair one more time, she finally opened the door and gave a little smirk. "You were intrigued enough to actually find out about me...you have a career in stalking just yet." At his compliment and using her given nickname, Lexi hid a blush by turning around to fumble with the door, closing it before turning back to Jay.
"You don't look too shabby yourself, Jayson Michaels." She had taken to calling him by his full name just to see how he would react to it. He did look good, no doubt. his casual went with hers and it wasn't long until she saw his car. "So...where are we heading?" She walked to the car, pretending to ignore him as she admired his BMW Coupe... "This is a cool car," she said, whistling softly.

"I prefer the term private investigator. It sounds more legal." Jay said smiling back at her, "Thanks." he said with the compliment to the car. jay was quite flashy so of course he would have a nice car. He picked it out himself when Nana took him car shopping, "I hope you did not have plans for the rest of the day, cause its all planned, so you might have to cancel any plans you did make." Jay said walking to the passenger side and opening the door for her. He closed the door once she got into the car. Jay was a gentleman after all.
He smiled at her as he slide into the drivers side, "If I had known you would be dressed so cute, i would have come for breakfast as well." Main reason he didn't is cause he slept in until 11 so he was not even up to have breakfast himself. But Dash did not have to know that. Jay was not an early bird. To catch him up early was a rarity, and usually only on school days and if he could sleep in on those days he would.
It did not take long to get to the boardwalk where the carnival was. He smiled as he stopped the car. "So tell me, how did you get your name, Dash?" Of course Jay knew the answer. He just wanted to hear her say it, cause if she liked speed, thrills and danger, then the first ride they were going on, called the Zipper, would get her blood pumping, "Figured we could ride a few rides, then have lunch." of course he failed to mention they would be going soem where else after.
Jay loved surprises and this girl was in for it. Jay had a whole day planned including dinner as well. He aimed to impress and that one thing he was good at. When it came to women he pulled out all the stops of course. Lexi was no exception. Of course the easier the woman was always nice, but the more of a challenge she presented the more Jay felt he had to work, and that actually appealed to jay more, cause easy was easy, but difficult was always more fun.

"Yeah...I'll always view you as a stalker even if you actually do become a private investigator. Which I really hope you won't. There're a lot of creeps in the world already." Lexi chuckled mostly to herself. Jay might not laugh. She didn't know but she found what she said amusing. Plans, she wondered. When had she ever had plans? "Why do you assume I make plans?" Lexi said and left it at that. It was open for interpretation.
"You think this is cute?" Lexi asked when he climbed into the car, gesturing to her outfit. "What happened to your taste, Jay?" She grinned with a little chuckle. "But what makes you so sure I'd have invited you in for breakfast? For all you know, I'd have just given you a doggy bag and sent you on your way home."
The drive to where they were going to spend their date looked familiar and when they finally stopped at the carnival, Lexi was actually disappointed. This was where he was taking her? She loved the carnival of course, who didn't? But this wasn't exactly what she had in mind for an unforgettable date by Jay Michaels. But then again, she didn't know what they were going to do and furthermore, she wasn't aware of what Jay had in mind for later.
"I must say, Jay...not what I would have figured for an unforgettable date." She smirked as she followed him into the carnival. His question was left unanswered as Lexi looked around, barely containing her excitement at all the fun things she could think of doing. Then he told her of his plans. "You're a pretty boring person, Jayson Michaels." Her eyes followed to where Jay had looked and a grin quickly spread across her face. "How did I get it? You're about to find out." She held her hand out for Jay, looking at him expectantly.

"Some how I don't think you would find me creepy. Most women like extra attention...again not stalking, but attention." Jay said smiling back at her as she laughed. She was still fiesty. Nice. Jay was pleased she had not transformed over night. He liked Lexi, and it was nice to see she acted this way all the time. He liked the challenge she was presenting and Jay was ready for it. He would have her wanting more by the end, he was confident of it.
"I don't think you would have sent me home. I believe you would have asked me inside with a smile on your face. " Jay told her. "Would you believe me if I said breakfast is my favorite meal." He barely ate it or even woke up in time for breakfast, but he could not help but tease Lexi, "You always look cute, from what I have scene." Jay winked. He kept driving refocusing on the road.
Jay smiled as she spoke. "I must say I have never been called boring before, but just so you know, this date is just beginning. I never said we were spending the whole day here." He warned her with a wicked grin, "Feel free to show me anytime." He smirked as she locked his fingers with hers and followed her to the Zipper. It was a fast line and soon both were locked into a cage together.
The ride was fast and fun with so many turns, Jay lost count. So many times he saw them heading toward the ground, but having Lexi by his side made this so much better. Once they were off the ride Jay grabbed her hand once more, "Next bumper cars and I promise not to go easy on you. After that you can pick the next fast ride we go on." Jay emphasized fast. "Then lunch and then the next phase." Jay pulled Lexi closer and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"And for some reason you think I'm like most women?" Lexi had turned her body so that her back was resting against the window of the car as she looked at Jay incredulously. "What makes you so sure I would like it?" She asked. Though admittedly, it did make her feel flattered that her efforts had not gone to waste and she had the 'attention' of one of the sought after guys in Silver.
Again, she had to admit to herself that she would have let him in, both out of surprise and because she was crazy flattered. His question made her chuckle. "Not at all. I'm inclined to believe you never wake up for breakfast even. You probably woke up like twenty minutes ago for this date. I'm right aren't I?" She asked after a short pause. The grin was still intact on her face as she waited for Jay to answer. His compliment this time didn't make her blush but she couldn't hide the smile. "The more you say it, the more I feel that they're just words, Jay. Don't lose the spark." She said, turning back to the front, happy with how she was handling herself.
"There's always a first time for everything, Jay. That's what my grandmother keeps telling me. That and to wash my own dishes even if people insist you shouldn't. But the first part of that advice is legit. And you better believe it. Nana doesn't lie." The feel of another person's hands in hers made shivers run down Lexi's spine as she ran with Jay trailing behind her.
The ride was fun and exhilarating, it wasn't something she hadn't tried before but the anticipation of getting more out of Jay by the end of the day made the ride that more thrilling. Once they got off, it was a good thing Jay had a hold of her. She would have started to walk like a drunk. The mention of bumper cars made her giggle like a six year old. It was one of her favourites since she was a kid.
Not wanting to let him in on her little excitement, she smirked at Jay. "Don't make promises that you can't keep. And that's not Nana's advice. That's mine." She grinned mostly to herself. She unconsciously leaned into Jay's shoulder. And if Jay noticed how quickly she did it despite her previously indifferent act, he didn't out her for it and she was glad. Jay wasn't Mew. Then again, nobody could be him. She sighed softly, wondering why she was still thinking of that redhead when she was with this tall, dark and handsome guy.
Bringing herself up, she grabbed the tickets from Jay and gave it to the carnie before choosing a black car, immediately driving it around, bumping into people. She waited for Jay to get into one car and immediately ramming him head on. "Thought you said you won't go easy on me!" She yelled before pelting off in another direction.

"You wouldn't be here with me if you didn't." That was all he said. All her felt the need to say cause Jay knew he could get her to laugh, giggle and other things girls did by giving her attention. Girls liked that sort of thing. He liked giving it to them. There was nothing better then seeing a girl with that cute smile and a tint of pink in her cheeks. It was so attractive.
"More like forty minutes. Give me some credit, for a date with you I made sure I was looking my best." He winked at her. "If you wanted breakfast, I can still do that. All I need is a reason to wake up early." He told her. "Trust me, the spark is not going dim anytime soon, if anything you might see more sparks fly." His words trailed off. he had to snicker at her comment about her Nana and not lying, "Your Nana being your grandmother I assume, cause thats what I call mine." Of course he lived with his Nana.
jay followed her laughing behind her, "Bring it Dash. Let's see what you got." he said to Lexi as they approached the bumper cars after the previous ride. Jay had a feeling this was going to get much more fun. Lexi herself was shocking as she took the tickets and got in. The moment the cars started she rammed him. he just smiled, "Game on."
Bumper cars really should last longer, Jay got a few good shots in but Lexi knew how to handle a wheel and ended up slamming into Jay more. Not that jay minded one bit. he got to see her breasts move slightly with each bump, which left his imagination roaming with thoughts of what laid beneath her shirt. Once the ride was over he extended his hand, "Nice moves. I wonder how you would do driving a stick..." he said, "in case your mind is in the gutter, I am talking about a car. A stick shift. I have one at home, classic car, and it could use someone good behind the wheel to take it for a drive." Of course his words were meant to be suggestive, but he truly did have a car like that.
Once again Jay wrapped his arm around Lexi's shoulders, "Your turn Dash. Pick a ride. Show me what you go." He purred. He smiled at her for a brief moment. He was going to find the right time to sneak a soft kiss, cause he was curious what her lips tasted like.

Touche. The boy knew exactly what to say and what she was thinking. She had to stop overestimating her moves. She was an amateur compared to Jay. But it didn't mean she couldn't dish out what she got hit with. "I've been known for my charitable ways. I'm pretty sure you get the concept." She grinned, leaving it at that. If Jay was as good as she thought he was, she was sure he would just let it go and let her win. Then again, how would she know? She hardly knew what Tyler was doing but he got to take her first kiss. And second. And the third. Enjoyable though it was, she had to take it easy when it came to bad boys. They're sneaky buggers.
She couldn't help but giggle as she took in his appearance. Though Jay could look good even in a toga, his appearance was simple. A shirt over a wife beater that clung to him like a second skin, sleeves rolled up to show his tanned and toned arms, jeans that hugged his long and lean legs...okay so it wasn't simple perse but still. She gave him credit for it, though. She wasn't going to give him the satisfaction he probably thought he deserved by complimenting his look of course.
"Not likely, Jay. I'm pretty sure the protocol for first dates don't include breakfast." Yes, she was such an expert on that, right? The coincidence that they call their grandmothers the same thing made Lexi smile. So the boy was a big softie. Lexi could totally see him going out of his way to make his grandmother feel comfortable and make her smile. Either that or him calling her Nana was a way to butter the old woman up to get anything he wanted. That thought made her laugh to herself. Bad boys and their grandmothers... "Yeah, my Nana's full of advice."
The ride was short lived and it looked like Lexi had the upperhand but Jay wasn't kidding when he said he wouldn't go easy on her. That made her excited, knowing that he wouldn't back down just because she was a girl. Too many guys on the opposing swim teams have always underestimated her and thought she was there for their viewing pleasure but she took pleasure in seeing their faces when she finishes her races in her own division in record time. She wasn't called Dash for nothing. The same went when she was still in the track team but having Sloane Taylor there was enough for her to go out of retirement. The girl was scary fast.
At his compliment and the mention of driving a stick, she knew immediately that he was being suggestive. She's watched enough movies to know when a guy was being suggestive and that comment landed in the top three most trite and sleazy suggestive lines she could ever think of. "See, thing is...you were the one who had to mention my mind going elsewhere when I was perfectly fine thinking about a manual car." She smirked. "You have to remember...I'm the girl. I'm not the one who has one thought dominating every single cell in my body."
She thought long and hard about the next ride and figured, what else but the drop tower ride that reminded her of the exact one she had gone on when the family went for a trip to Japan two summers ago. She had gone on the ride six times even though the third time made her drop her sushi in the toilet bowl. She loved the rush of being fast, in water, on the ground or in the sky. She figured herself for an adrenaline junkie but she never got to fully experience it in one shot. Today was showing her that it was possible. And who knows? These tames rides were just the beginning, that was what Jay said.
His smile and their close proximity made her shiver and try to pull away because like Tyler, this move might be the one where he was going for a kiss. She wasn't ready for another one. She wasn't easy. She didn't want to be easy. So she did pull away and walked over to the drop tower quickly. "Last one in is a rotten egg!" Lexi called out childishly as she ran to the other side of the ride so she could get a hold of herself before Jay joined her.

Jay just let out a soft laugh at Lexi's charitable ways comment. This girl was something else. Jay was enjoying this date very much. Lexi was an interesting girl and could dish it out as good as Jay. He was kept on his toes. Something he was looking forward to. A nice challenge in the form of a lovely body with a killer smile. That's how Jay described Lexi. She was someone he was looking forward to getting to know. At least for now.
"At least you Nana's advice makes sense. My Nana likes to say random things, that come out of thin air. We will be at home just watching TV, and she will all the sudden say something about knowing how to cook, or using protection. I guess you could say she knows how my sis and I can be." Jay admitted. Sure his grandmother was easy to take advantage of, but that didn't mean he didn't take catre of her and actually take the time to be with her. His Nana was a funny old broad. "She is convinced she can do things now that she was doing ten years ago. That woman cannot sit still for a whole meal." Jay said with a shrug.
"Okay so perhaps my mind heads to the gutter, I can't lie about that. But you can't blame me for being curious about certain things. I do promise to keep being a gentleman." He would be. Jay would never over step he boundaries. Not when he wanted to go out with Lexi again and again. She was definitely worth keeping around.
The one bad thing about carnivals were the rides were too short. He would have loved to have laughed and played more on the bumper cars or sat in the zipper, his body close to hers, but now they were onto a new ride and from the looks of it, well he could see where Lexi's mind was going. Not that he minded. Jay laughed as she pulled away and ran off. He of course chased after her, but got there after she did, "Can I be something cooler then a rotten egg." He smirked. "I like the way you think Dash. Your taste in rides is impressive. If you get scared feel free to hold on tight to me." Jay winked.
"After this I am thinking lunch, unless there is another ride you want to go on. There is one over there that goes upside down and hangs there then goes in a circle. Its a thrill cause your upside down with only a should thing to keep you in place. We can do that, then lunch, then onto my other plans. Unless your scared." Jay said teasingly. "So tell me Dash, besides being fast in swimming, what else are you into?"
