[Character Played: Jade Edwards]
Jade finally heard his alarm clock ringing, his eyes opening to the bleary appearance of his room, before turning over slamming his hand down on the clock turning it of before taking his glasses from the table which he placed on his nose.
The night before fresh in his mind, as he rolled out of his bed on to the floor with a certain amount of grace, the door opened to reveal a grumpy looking SJ, "You could have stopped that sooner you know." SJ said to him glaring at him as she stood in the doorway.
"SJ I am in my boxers so get out." Jade growled at her she gave him a final glare before leaving him alone to his thoughts... an half hour later and he was fumbling in his jeans for his phone, when he had it out he looked at the clock. "If its to early so be it." Jade said and sent a text.
--Jeremy if your free let me know, I'm bored stiff and looking for something to do, fancy going shopping or down to the beach, what ever let me know I'll pick you up, if your sister wants to come along let me know so that I can borrow the land rover from my father.--

Jeremy's mood was a good reflection of the weather. Dinner with Jade's folks had gone well despite the talk earlier. Still he was able to hold it together and get through it all. He had let Julia drive home that night, he was still trying to wrap his mind around everything. Was he being dumped? Or was he going to be the one? It was enough to make one's head explode.
He rolled out of bed in a pair of maroon gym shorts and a white beater. He trudged down the stairs to the kitchen, not knowing if anyone was awake or not yet. Going to the fridge he took out a can of V8 juice and sat glumily at the table. He needed something to take his mind off of things, maybe he was optimistic and things would work out for them both.
He heard his phone go off and saw it was Jade's number. He wanted to answer it but wasn't ready for more heartbreak yet. When it went dark he listened to the message, he sighed.
Still there was a chance so he called him back, wrapping his fingers on the table as he waited for Jade to answer.

Jade sat on his bed when he heard the phone ring he looked at the caller and answered putting the phone on speaker, "Text would have been easier." Jade said to him stating the obvious. "I don't have to work so hard to keep in on the conversation when I'm texting." he added as he walked into his wardrobe to select a hat.
"Just so you know I told Mike that I was putting my family before my heart." Jade said to him. "I'm not exactly sure where we are going, but what I do know is that its better than it was with Mike." Jade said as he came out with a red sox baseball cap. "Anyway, I am sitting here bored and I have nothing to do, so I was thinking we could do some shopping." Jade said to him. "Or take some surf boards and be totally not gay for the day." Jade said as he looked for his contacts.
"My parents were impressed with you, and let me tell you something that isn't easy to do, they liked Julia to, but their concern was whether you were better than some of my other date choices. You may even get an invite to go for a round of golf with the old man if you stay around long enough." Jade said with a chuckle.
"Anyway if your busy I understand, but if your not you deserve some apology time." Jade said what he didn't say was that this generally meant that Jade had no intention of letting Jeremy pay for anything if they went shopping. "So you want to do something." Jade said.

"I know but I just wanted to hear your voice again." Jeremy said into the phone easing back into the kitchen chair. His mood brightening by several steps.
He closed his eyes and let the words absorb into his brain, Jade had used his mind and not his heart to make his choice. What else he was saying didn't matter at the moment. He was in seventh heaven at the time!
"I'm glad to know I made a good impression on them, Julia too." He passed the parent test, so it was unanamous that the family all liked him. Even though the words of 'if you stay around long enough' sent a shiver up his spine.
"Yeah I'd love to something today. It'd just be you and me, Julia has other plans." He realized he had to get dressed and quickly. "There's nothing to apologize for, you had a lot to think about I'm just happy that your decision let me stay with you." It was very comforting to him. "Give me a half hour and I'll be ready, it'll give you a chance to meet my dad anyway." Jere knew Jade would pass with flying colors with his father, he was easy going.

Jade smiled, "I need your address then I'll pick you up, it maybe a long half hour though, with my sense of direction it could be dinner before I find you." Jade said to hiim with a grin. "Comment on why I am wearing a hat and I will hurt you." Jade said playfully.
He took note of the address, "I am leaving now it shouldnt take long to get to you but with morning traffic even on a saturday can be a nightmare." Jade said to him as he picked up his car keys and phone turning it back over to normal use. "I'll see you soon." Jade added ending the call with a blown kiss which to him was cheesy but he didnt care.
Jade found his way down to the garage, he noticed that his brothers car was absent, remembering that his brother was still out from the night before he pressed the garage door opener and climbed into his car.
Attaching his phone to the car's phone set up he placed the car into drive and pulled out of the house grounds onto the main street, it was pretty quiet most of the way to house, he found himself in front of a house which was impressive, but felt more homely on the outside than his own home. As he pulled himself out of the car onto the side walk he saw some kids giving the car strange looks as he walked up to the house and rang the door bell.

Jeremy rambled out his address to Jade, with new found excitment. "Ok no comment on the hat and trust me you'll have no trouble finding the place."
Jeremy blew a kiss back, almost bouncing off the walls as he dashed up to his room plowing into his dad as he did. "Sorry, Jade is coming over soon, to go do something gotta change!" He dashed up stairs, skipping a stair at a time. James scratched his head as he went to get some coffee. 'I never thought I'd ever see Jeremy go crazy like that over a date!' James mused to himself. He added his usual cream and sugar to it and plucked a glazed donut, there was no rest in writing for television. He was about to head back to the den when the door bell rang. He went to the door and saw a young man at the door. "You must be Jade, come on in." He smiled at him letting the young visitor in. "Jeremy is getting ready, go ahead and have a seat? Can I get you anything juice, coffee, water?"
"Dad, you'll spoil our guest!" Jeremy said from the top of the stairs and descended down them. "Jade this is my dad, James. Dad this is Jade."
James was fairly easy going and trusted his kids' choices in dates. "Nice to meet you, and what ever you guys do, stay out of trouble." He patted Jeremy on the shoulder, Jeremy knew Dad approved. "Now I have to try and churn out a season cliff hanger." He let the boys alone.
(OOC: Just an FYI, John Barrowman is the visual for James)

"Coffee thank you." Jade said to the man who nodded. "No milk and no sugar thanks." Jade added when the man looked ready to question as he watched the man disappear he looked out the window checking on the status of his car laughing when he saw a couple of kids snapping a photo. "Maybe the jeep would have been a better option than my own car." Jade said to himself shaking his head, his car was meant for showing of the fact that his family was insanely rich and to that point he was but sometimes it was a disadvantage.
"Nice to meet you sir, thank you for the coffee, just the right side of tart for me." Jade said as he took a sip of the drink making a contented face. "Season finale?" Jade asked. "You work in TV, right didn't make that connection, it was nice to meet you sir, I'll try to bring Jeremy back in one piece." Jade said to the man with a mischivous smile.
Jade rose to his feet as they were left alone, "I was a tiny bit early, I expected more traffic than their was on the way down here." Jade said to him. "Your dad seems nice, its good when you meet a father that isn't as protective or irritating as mine can be from time to time, but then I am the eldest son I think I am supposed to feel that way about my father." Jade added. "So what do you want to do?" Jade asked.

"One coffee coming up." James was in the kitchen and back in a short time. "Here you go, coffee black."
"Yeah writer for a teen soap, its tough since the star left a few months ago to be a real kid, still I can't blame him he'd been on the show since he was like five." He took a sip of his coffee as Jeremy joined them. He gave Jade the knowing wink, "I'm gonna hold you to that." Then headed back into his den.
Once alone Jeremy kissed Jade softly on the lips. "My dad is a big old teddy bear, I guess I take after him." He took a moment to look in Jade's eyes, the emerald eyes that had caught him just before the camping trip. "I won't argue with that other than you should try being the only son." Sure James didn't worry like their mother did but then what mom didn't worry about her kids? "I was thinking spending the day shopping sounds like fun, besides how could I refuse an offer like that with a hot guy beside me?" He teases the baseball cap a little. "I won't tease you about the hat if you don't tease me about these." He took his glasses from his shirt pocket and slid them on.

Jade laughed, "I'm having a bad hair day, it just won't lie flat, and its useless trying to anything with it when its like this." Jade said he didn't think Jeremy had seen him wear glasses so he let it pass. "I would laugh but you don't look any more goofy in your glasses as I do with mine on, I try not to wear them as much as possible, doesn't do me much good, because I then have to go a couple of weeks wearing the damn things." Jade said to him. "I know this is a rich neighbour hood but I don't think I am going to have a car left if we stay in here much longer." Jade said to him looking out the window nervously at his baby.
"You'd make a pretty cute Harry Potter for fancy dress you know, it would be different from coming in tights and showing of your prince charming." Jade to him as he finished his coffee. "Damn thats good coffee, my parents only drink tea, if we want something like this its starbucks." Jade said to him with a grin on his face.
"Okay so I need an outfit for tonight, and I need to get it in the house under the radar, my mother as been pleading with the three of us to sort our wardrobes out for months, apparently we have enough clothes to cloth a third world nation. She doesn't complain about my sisters shoe collection or handbag collection, apparently their are things girls can't live without and handbags and shoes are one of them." Jade said to him honestly then tossed his car keys to Jeremy. "You want to drive." Jade asked.

"Well, you still look cute, no matter what." Jeremy assured him. "I feel like Clark Kent when I wear mine, and I really can't wear them when I'm working, after all who heard of Prince Charming bespectaled?" he mused. "The car will be fine, now if this were late at night I'd say pull into the garage."
"Me? As Harry Potter, nah, I'd rather be Snape, its fun to be the bad guy once in awhile!" He pushed his glasses up. "And now I know why I don't like wearing these." Jade seemed to be content now with coffee. "I'm not a coffee person myself unless it has chocolate and blended with ice, then I'm happy."
"An outfit for tonight?" Jere queried. He wasn't sure what was going on other than the rave, which didn't hold much appeal to him. "Sounds like your sister can get away with it more being the only girl, believe me I know about that!" He caught the keys Jade had tossed to him. "Sure I'll drive, the question is do you trust me behind the wheel of you baby?" He wouldn't do anything was dangerous or stupid behind the wheel of someone else's car but it was fun to see the reaction.
