(OOC: I only have until Thursday to finish this - then am away - so it'll have to be a short thread I'm afraid >.<)
Christophe waited at the main entrance. He leaned back against the wall just outside the building, knowing he'd see Saint easily enough. If not him then Coco. Sure enough, the malamute spotted teh French boy first and she amlbled over, towing Saint in her wake. "Hey," he greeted and the pair wandered off the school grounds and towards teh bus stop. He wasn't sure how long they would need to wait but a bus came along quickly enough. He helped Saint on board and dropped down to sit next to him, Coco between their feet.
He immediately spotted the gang members Saint had referred to but they kept their distance. The two boys rode in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Would he find out what was wrong with Lia? He could only hope so.
They arrived at their destination and descended from the bus with the gang members calling out something to Saint in a foreign language. Christophe ignored them mainly because he didn't understand their comment and besides, they'd been addressing his companion.
"I hope you're right and that she wants to see me," he said as they neared the front door of the Juarez home. "I get the feeling she's been avoiding me."

Saint smiled hoping he looked encouraging. "Lia doesn't know what to say to you so she is hiding hoping it will come to her, She is not so confident as she acts sometimes."Saint said, hoping Lia wouldn't run away like sometimes. The street was empty which made sense on a rainy friday. As it was hard to juggle Coco, his white tipped cane and an umbrella, he was going without and he felt like a drowned rat. Grateful when he reached his house he went to the door and opened it for Christophe. "Lia, come out. I need some help!"
Lia's door slammed open and she ran out looking frantic which cleared when she saw that Saint was safe. Surprise colored her expression when she saw Christophe and she began to turn away. "I thought you would be with Sarissa Zouvelkis," she said, her voice thick with sadness.

By the time they reached the Juarez home Christophe was pretty much drenched through to his skin. He hadn't thought about bringing a jacket and the downpour had been unexpected. On the upside... most of the chocolate pie had been rinsed away. Every negative had to have a positive. Basic law of atomic science.
He stepped back as Saint opened the front door and called for Lia to come and help him.
She smiled in her brother's direction but that same expression evaporated when she saw Christophe.
"Sarissa?" He frowned slightly. Ï made no plans to meet her after school. We had lunch together but..."How had Lia known about Sarissa? Ok, so Christophe had mentioned meeting her a couple of days ago but nothing more than that. saint... He was the only person who could have told Lia. "Why would you think I would be with Sarissa?" There had to be more to all of this than their lunch time encounter as Lia had acted oddly yesterday when she'd vanished from their picnic arrangements.
"Would you like to tell me what's wrong?" He had a right to ask that.

Lia sighed and went to sit on the couch after Saint left the room. She patted the seat next to her and frowned as she tried to formulate her thoughts. "I... I fixed a nice lunch yesterday since you had said we would be meeting. When it seemed you weren't coming, I went to look for you. About six people I asked said you were with Sarissa Zouvelkis. She is a fast girl and flirts a lot. She seems to steal a lot of other girls boyfriends. I am sorry i ran but I was very hurt. Why did you make arrangements with me and then go with her?" she asked, beginning to cry.She didn't understand why guys found Sarissa so attractive that they would dump their girlfriends.

Christophe wasn't too happy about sitting with Lia... Not given the mood she was clearly in. He obeyed, though, and dropped down next to her...
... and listened.
"I brought lunch too," he said when she finally finished speaking. "Actually went to some trouble only to see you storm off in some kind of temper. Whoever these six people are... they are lying. I was held back in class and then caught by someone asking about homework... NOT Sarisssa," he emphaised. "Yes, I saw her topday for lunch but then she's a friend. I have no reason not to talk to her... Do I?"
Christophe's face darkened. "I can see you would prefer to believe these other people than me... and I'm sorry for that, Llyria. Really. To be honest, that is your loss right now," he added, anger coming to the fore. After all, he'd done nothing wrong and hadn't been with another girl when she'd assumed so.
"I hope you feel better soon," he added, getting to his feet. "Perhaps I will see you at school sometime." Tears were hard to take but when they were uncalled for that made it one hell of a lot easier!
With one last look down at her - and still trying to understand why she'd believed these other people over him - he headed for the door. A pat on Coco's head before he headed for the door. She could either take his word or not. Right now he honestly wasn't sure he cared. He didn't appreciate his word being doubted.

"I didn't know and she is known for flirting with anything male. Obviously it wasn't too off since you were with her today. I guess I don't mean anything and you will just bounce back to her. Don't worry i won't be bothering you at school. I wouldn' want to cramp your style." Lia said, her voice too calm for the emotions she was expressing. She showed nothing, her face pale and set in stone.

Christophe's eyes narrowed in frustration. This was ridiculous. He'd done nothing wrong. He hadn't been with Sarissa - or anyone else for that matter - yesterday and had simply been delayed by a late ending lesson and that dumb kid who wanted to know about their homework assignment. And Lia had believed these other people rather than come to ask him directly.
"Fine," he said in a low voice. "Then I won't bother you any longer." He looked back at her from the doorway. Coming here had been a mistake... He knew that now.
"I'll see you at school," he said to saint and grabbing up his soaking wet back pack Christophe strode out of the house. Frustration had by now very much given way to annoyance. Hopefully Lia would see sense and realise she had no right to tell him who he could - or couldn't - be friends with because he had every intention of Sarissa being one of those. She'd been nothing but friendly and certainly hadn't hit on him. Likewise the same could be said for Christophe.
The entire situation made no sense what so ever and a pretty rustic Gallic curse rang out as he rounded the corner at the end of the street.
(tag for a wrap maybe?)

Lia broke down the moment Christophe closed the door and Saint moved to comfort her.He felt badly for he liked the French boy, which was unusual for Lia's boyfriends. He had a feeling his weekend was going to be devoted to cheering up his sister.
