Lunch quickly came around and as he'd had no text from Lizbeth telling him she'd found better company he headed for the cafeteria to meet up with the English girl. He glanced around the room, not seeing her there. Maybe she'd changed her mind? Perhaps his talk of stalking her had actually frightened her off? Stranger things had been known to happen. Of course, she could easily have phoned this Spencer guy and demanded he puick her up, relating tales of vermin and gunfights. He hoped not and clung to the belief that she had far more backbone than that!
Felipe had brought his own food in, not wanting to risk eating the canteen food on offer. He'd tried that and hadn't liked it one bit. He carried his lunch over to a reasonably secluded table. The only problem was a couple of juniors were already using it.
Felipe said nothing but simply placed himself menacingly before them, dark eyes boring into theirs. One eyebrow lifted and the two boys hastily packed up their sandwiches and bolted for another table. Felipe smiled slightly and dropped down to sit, waiting to see if LizBeth would show up...

Liz had somehow managed to not fall asleep during her classes. She had actually already covered the same material the semester before at Winterhaven, so she'd been on the side of Very Freaking Bored. Just another thing that had been superior in private schooling. She had figured her way through the halls, it wasn't like she was stupid or anything.
She'd been given a few admiring looks from a few decent young men, tossing them a playful little smile in return. A bat of dark lashes and big green eyes got a lot here apparently. At least there was eye candy in her prison. Speaking of eye candy, she remembered that Fefe..as she was allowed to call him, had wanted her to meet him for lunch. She couldn't leave, and he seemed like a good enough guy to spend her time with. Plus his accent..yum.
The Brit made her way into the cafeteria, ooking around at the droves of people. The air was awaft with a myriad of smells, school food..was not on the list of good smells. She wasn't going to bother to even try any of it, and she hadn't brought anything with her. To brown bag from home was considered low class.
Looking around, Liz spotted her Brazilian stalker sitting at a table. heels cllicked on the floor as she walked over. "You promised me a full tour..." She stated coolly, though there was a smile on her mouth, for him at least.

He glanced up when he heard that tell-tale clicking of heels against flooring. Only one person he knew wore shoes like that... other than Reese, of course. He smiled when he saw the owner of the heels. He smiled back at her, noting once more how pretty she was when she did that... When the haughty look slipped - albeit momentarily... and, he also noted, when she'd looked down at him.
"Yup. A tour. You aren't eating?" LizBeth shuddered. "Ok... A quick tour and then I will treat you to lunch at a little cafe I know two blocks over. I think they even serve tea. Earl Grey," he added with a wink.
He pushed himself to his feet and took her bag without asking, shouldering it on the same side as his own pack. His own lunch - a couple of enchiladas that had been left over from last night's supper - and held little appeal he had to admit - were now redundant and so as he passed the table holding the two juniors from earlier he paused. They both looked up at him in abject fear.
Felipe grinned down at them and dropped the bag holding the enchiladas in front of them. "Enjoy," he told them and they both nodded emphatically and in unison. Felipe held back his laugh and instead led LizBeth out of the cafeteria.
The tour took them little more than 15 minutes. The usual important places. Library, sickbay, main office, gym... and finally they came to a halt.
A low rumble sounded.
"That was either thunder or one of our stomachs reminding us of the time." He didn't think it'd been his either. "Feel like trying out that cafe?"

Fefe had a nice smile, it stood out well against the sun kissed tan of his Brazilian skin. He asked if she was eating and she gave him a visible shudder, scrunching up her nose in disgust. An eyebrow lifted as he offered to treat her to lunch off campus. Mum would have been proud of her. She'd been here..3 hours and she already had the boy eating out of the palm of her hand...then again..it wasn't her hand she wanted him....anyway!
"I would kill my own sister for a poper cup of tea.." Liz said, giving him a look that clearly said she was grateful for the offer. She wouldn't really kill her sister...she didn't have one! Felipe got up from his spot at the table, taking her bag from her. it was nice to find a proper gentleman, especially here. "Thank you." She told him, her accent light. Her eyeline was pulled to the bag in his hand, that presummedly had his lunch in it.
He ended up giving it to a pair of slightly younger boys who had looked up at him like deer caught in headlights. She actually laughed at the expressions. They had the same look that others did around her..only she wasn't the caught of it...this time. She and Fefe left, taking the tour he promised her. It was a lot easier to find things when there weren't a load of screaming teens in the way.
"I think it was thunder..my stomach would never behave in such a degenerative manner." Liz told him, tossing her hair back defiantly. "Cafe..out in the rain...do you know what my hair is going to do if nasty polluted rain hits it?" she asked, however..not saying no to going.

Connor was having lunch with Julia, which left Kian at loose ends. He had to get something from his jeep and he ended up getting drenched in the process. He was smiling as he pushed open one of the double doors at the entrance. "Hey Felipe! How's it going? You going to practice later?"He was talking about Martial Arts class. He nodded to the girl with his friend. She was unfamiliar, but he was in a good mood and hence opted for politeness.

"Thunder... right," Felipe answered with a grin. "And you won't get wet. I have a jacket and we can drape it over our heads. Besides, we can sit inside at the cafe... don't let a bit of rain spoil what will be a fun lunch. Better than cafeteria food!" She shuddered again and the Brazilian boy laughed. "Come on... Live dangerously... Just this once!"
A quick return to Felipe's locker saw him retrieve the jacket and dump both their packs inside for the duration of their trip. No point, after all, in hauling their bags to the cafe and getting their books well and truly drenched. "Its not far... We can run," he said as they stepped out into the rain.
They hadn't taken more than the single pace when they encountered Kian. "Hey," he greeted. "More than likely. Will you be there?" Kian nodded. "Great. This is LizBeth. She's new. Her first day. LizBeth, this is Kian. We fence together," he added. "We're about to head out for a bite to eat. Have you had your lunch? I'm sure LizBeth wouldn't mind you joining us if so... right?" he asked, glancing at the girl huddled at his side and beneath their impromptu 'umbrella'.

Liz lifted an eyebrow at Fefe. "This outfit is dry clean only...if it gets wet..I'm sending you the bill to clean it." She told him, the corners of her mouth curling ever so slightly. Was she teasing? Maybe, maybe not. One could not tell. the very thought of eating cafeteria food, living dangerously or not..was not something she could deal with right now..so going out in the rain it was.
Felipe grabbed his jacket from his locker, taking Liz's bag and tucking it away. "Run...wait...you do not have a car?" She questioned. "You wish me to run..2 blocks..in the rain..in heels? Are you mad?" Liz asked, trying to tuck as much into his side as she possibly could to avoid getting wet.
They were stopped by some blond guy, who Fefe knew at least. He introduced her to the boy, Kian, to which she nodded her head in greeting. She turned those dark green eyes up to Felipe once more as he asked if she wouldn't mind him joining them. Yes she minded, she mineded a LOT in fact. One does not invite a girl out for lunch and then bring along someone else.
"No.." She stated, giving one of those smiles that one gave when they were forced into something they did not like. "I do not mind at all."

"I have a car," Kisn said with a grin. Lizbeth looked like she would melt like spin sugar if wet and she was not pleased at all. "Should I fetch it for you mi'lady?" he asked with a credible bow, wishing he had tried an English accent to go with it.Instead he followed up with his father's Irish accent. "T'would be a pleasure, mum, I assure you." It fit hia appearance as a stray curl snaked down his forehead dripping with rain.

"I promise I will have it cleaned," he assured her. "A small price to pay for your company over lunch," he added with a wink. "I have a bicycle... You are welcome to balance on the crossbar," he added in a teasing tone. "As for the state of my sanity... It has been mentioned to me on several past occassions that I am slightly lacking in that department." He threw her a mock menacing look. "Scared yet?" he asked.
LizBeth's reponse was to roll her eyes over-dramatically and to press close against his side. Not out of any desire for intimiate proximity but merely to ensure more of her clothing stayed dry.
Felipe could tell LizBeth wasn't all that keen on having Kian join them but his good manners refused to let him NOT offer the invitation. Besides, he liked Kian and he knew LizBeth would too... once she allowed herself to try.
Kian told them he had a car and Felipe took that to mean the other boy was going to join them. "A car... See? No need to get wet," he said to LizBeth... although for himself he would have been more than content to continue to use his coat as a cover as that meant more time spent with her pressed against his left side. "That would be great, thanks Kian," he added.
The boy jogged off to fetch his car and Felipe looked down at the less than impressed girl. "Next time we will go alone. I promise. And if you stop pouting I might even give you a tour of town this weekend."

Kian was already wet, so he didn't mind returning for his car. He got in, glad that the roof seemed secure and wasn't leaking. He drove around to the front and unlocked the passenger door.He hoped the girl didn't mind a jeep. It was great for bad road conditions, but Felipe would probably have to help her in.He blinked his lights at them and turned on some Panic at the Disco.
