Character Name: Sawyer Lee Ryan
Nickname: Lens
Age: 15
Birthday: 27th October
Place of birth: Chicago
School: Silver
Grade: Freshman
Height: 5'6
Hair Color: Naturally auburn
Eye Color: Grayish green
Detailed Appearance: Her notable features are her hair and voice. Sawyer could grab attention from anywhere with her voice even if she was in a sea of redheads. She has shoulder length dark red hair with bangs across her forehead that she keeps neat and tidy even though she, and everybody else she knows, knows that it will be messed up by the end of the day. Her pale grayish green eyes are framed by thick dark lashes and she has freckles across the bridge of her nose that she has a love hate relationship with.
Her favoured style is in comfortable anythings whether it be jeans, skirts, shirts, blouses, shorts, tank tops or dresses. As long as it flows nicely and doesn't make her suffocate, she loves it. She loves suspenders attached to skirts though so whenever she gets a chance, she'll wear it.
Personality: Well Sawyer's a bit...mad. Like imagine the Mad Hatter was a fifteen year old girl with a penchant for singing and dancing and spouting of complete nonsensical jabber...well...just imagine the Mad Hatter was a fifteen year old girl and you pretty much more or less sum up Sawyer in a nutshell. The girl is a never ending spitfire of crazy would more likely call upon how glum you are rather than calling you a bitch or a jerk.
Underneath the crazy, she's still just a girl who cares a lot about others and sees life through technicolored glasses. Her mode of transportation is bouncing around and she seems to have a never ending supply of happy. So this probably grates on a lot of people and she might have more enemies than friends but it doesn't stop her from making new ones. She's really friendly and will go up to strangers like nobody's business.
She's pretty adventurous and is very sneaky so when she pulls pranks, people hardly look at her as a suspect. She does have a tendency to forget things so even if she did a good job hiding from being suspected, she could just as easily blab to anyone about what she did. She's fun to be around but sometimes you just want to shake her and tell her that enough is enough!
Thoughts On High School: Seeing that she's relatively new in high school, she thinks it's a pretty fun place to have hijinks of epic proportions. The earthquake scared her but nothing too traumatising and the fire at Silver was something she looked back on with a sad face. The shooting calmed her down somewhat. For a few days at least. She was back to her own self in about a week.
Town Area: Downtown LA
Job: Can't yet
Transportation: Her dad drives her
Family Background:
Dad - Patrick Ryan - Senior accountant
Mom - Lori Anders - District attorney
Sister - Willow - Law undergrad
History: Patrick and Lori met when she was still fresh out of Yale and he from Brown. They had to work on the same case and decided to collaborate. So for months, they relied on each other, Chinese take-outs and late night paper pushing until they finally cracked the case. After a painstakingly long trial, they decided that they liked each other's company and decided to move their late nights and take-outs outside of the professional line and they discovered just how well they meshed with each other and after two years of courtship, they finally got married.
Not long after, their first born peeped into their lives and for awhile, things looked pretty great for them, raising their baby in the windy city. When the second baby came, so did a promotion for Lori. First act of business after the promotion was to move the whole family to LA but by then she was way too heavily pregnant to travel so she made Patrick and Willow go first while she settled with her delivery and once she was okay to move, Patrick and Willow came back to Chicago to bring the two all the way to LA.
Sawyer was three when her parents found out that she had blood complications and for several years, their income went straight to taking care of Sawyer. She repaid in kind by being extra sweet and being a diligent and dutiful daughter while being insanely active in school. It paid off as they found a good private middle school that took her in under a scholarship. It was enough to help the Ryans gain a more stable income to send their firstborn to Yale and their second child to a public school when she graduated.

Likes: Sawyer is pro helping people out and she likes shiny new things. That means anything from new gadgets, new pets and new friends. She has a Canon DSLR which she has lovingly named DG. She carries him around everywhere. She's pretty much trigger happy. There's isn't a lot that Sawyer doesn't like. She's a pie freak and is constantly begging her mother to get her one almost everyday. She likes books, especially ones with pretty pictures in front. She likes to stare off into space, although that's not much of a like since she doesn't know how to control it.
Dislikes: She doesn't like getting paper cuts. She's against name-calling and bullying because she thinks bullies are just not loved enough. She doesn't like ponies nor does she like horses. She doesn't like chocolates shaped like something else that isn't chocolates like those frog chocolates or chocolate hearts. If it's a chocolate, it should remain in chocolate form! Like those truffle thingies!

"For the love of God, you're fifteen years old could you please sing something more appropriate??" Willow screamed at her little sister whose eyes widened like saucers and her jaw dropped for a milisecond.
The silence made Willow sigh in relief as she continued reading the magazine she had been occupying herself with until...
"Can't touch this nananananananana can't touch this. Ohh, oh oh! Can't touch this." Sawyer started dancing to the dancing she was still singing.
Willow just about threw the magazine in her sister's face before running upstairs to lock herself in the room. "Yeah, you can't touch this." Sawyer dusted off her imaginary lapels and threw herself on to the couch to watch some telly. A pretty upbeat song was starting to play and Sawyer bounced out of the couch to try and copy the moves.
Her father came just in time and saw that it was a song he knew so he joined in the singing and before they knew it, Willow and Lori were deafened by their husband/dad and sister/daughter howling an already bad song.
"Oh my God no...you two. No more TV. Get upstairs, get dressed and come back down for dinner, now!" Lori ordered as she snatched the remote from Sawyer and switched off the TV.
Having sheepish grins on their faces, Sawyer and her dad sneaked in a low five before racing up the stairs to get ready for dinner.
