Saint could hear voices in the gym and one sounded like Christophe to him. As he couldn't go by sight, he released Coco from her harness and said urgently, "Find Christophe, go on... good girl." She woofed and ran off. Tail wagging as her quarry was already in sight. She ran up to him and began licking him enthusiastically and barking. Saint Grinned and headed across the gym hoping there were no stray balls on the court.

Christophe had been making his way out of the gym when he heard the sound of a dog barking. Dogs weren't normally allowed on school grounds and only one person he knew of had been given permission... solely due to the fatc thata he couldn't see without it.
Saint.
He looked over towards the sound and recognised Coco instantly. "Que faites-vous ici," he asked and Coco panted up at Christophe, knowing him from his visit to the Juarez home. Christophe looked around...
"Saint! Over here!" he called, jogging over to Lia's brother. He tapped the blind boy's arm. "Are you looking for Lia? If so she isn't here. In fact, I haven't a clue where she is," he said in his heavily accented voice.

Saint oriented himself to Christophe's voice and began to walk towards him. "Lia is home, she is sick, mainly from crying all night. She wouldn't talk to me and that isn't usual at all." he said, his expression mirroring his frustration. Lia had not confided in him as she knew both her brother's had violent tendencies and were already on notice with their knife abilities.

"Crying?" Christophe frowned slightly. "She hasn't said anything to me either. In fcat, she hasn't replied to any of my texts." It was most bizarre.
He dropped down to fuss at Coco who had dropped down to sit at the French boy's feet. "This is Sarissa," he told Saint, introducing the two despite the other boy not being able to see her. "Sarissa, this is Saint," he added. He pulled out his phone as he crouched down next to the dog and checked for replies.
Still nothing.
It really was most peculiar.
H tried once more...
'Lia. Saint tells me you are sick. I hope you feel better soon. Christophe'
If she wanted to tell him what was wrong she would. He wasn't about to pry.
"Please tell Lia I hope she feels better soon," he said to Saint... Just in case she didn't check her phone or something.

Sari was laughing as Christophe threatened to smother more goo and she ran off. "Okay I don't envy you anymore. If it will help you can clean off in the boys locker room." She suggested. "They have showers and stuff to help." She motioned to the stuff on his shirt. "Revenge huh...revenge for what...making you look better." She winked.
"It's not that you look hotter, but chocolate makes everything hotter and sweeter." She smirked. She was kidding around. She sat back down on the bench and started to gather her things. "I will not forget. Trust me. Seeing you and Tyler for breakfast on Sunday will be my entertainment for the weekend." She said cryptically. "You will have to wait and see what I mean...and your welcome." She said as Christophe walked off.
She was still busy packing her book bag. Once she was done she too walked toward the door and stopped when Christophe introduced her to Saint. "Pleasure to meet you Saint." Sari had heard about Saint's accident. "Sorry to hear about your sister. Christophe perhaps you should go see her...." Sari suggested.
It seemed as if Christophe and Lia were friends. Sari had no clue that was the name of his girlfriend. Not that it would make a difference. She just thought maybe Saint was telling Christophe for the purpose of him going to visit Lia, maybe Lia needed Christophe for some reason. "I hope your sister feels better soon too."

Should he go and see her? Christophe wasn't so sure. The last time he'd seen her Lia had been acting most oddly. She'd virtually run from him. Ok, he knew he'd been late for lunch but the delay hadn't been entirely his fault. Maybe his assumption that she'd wait for him had been his biggest mistake? Or was she angry about something? Why were girls so hard to understand?
He nodded slightly, not committing himself either way. The unasnwered texts told him that he'd done something to cause her misery and yet Christophe hadn't a clue what he'd done. Could he continue to try and ignore it? Or should he confront Lia? It would be good to know if she was alright...
"Do you think I should visit her, Saint?" He knew Lia better than Christophe and right now the French boy wasn't sure he knew Lia at all. First there was the way she'd been at the party and now this... It wasn't the girl he thought he'd known.

Saint sighed. Sari's presence in the gym had thrown him off. "I think it would be a good idea. Lia is not as confident as she presents herself. She hasn't had a lot of luck with boys and she feels she is cursed in that respect. You can come over after school if you want. Today I am stuck riding the bus though. Jandro has left for New York and with Lia sick, I didn't have a choice.Jonah is still off but i have at least heard from him. His father died so he has a lot to deal with.

"Ok... After school. I won't be abvle to stay long though as I have to work this evening." He'd just have to do any homework later tonight instead of right after school. At least tomorrow was Saturday and so he could sleep in a little later than normal. "Would you like my company on the bus?" he asked Saint. "I am walking myself otherwise I would offer you a ride home. or we can walk together. I am fine with whatever is best."
He threw Sarissa a smile of apology but at least Saint couldn't see the state he was in. Chocolate pie - even if it was as appealing as Sarissa made it out to be - wouldn't be so nice later on that afternoon. Hopefully he had a t-shirt in his locker, otherwise he'd be conducting his visit in a grimy shirt.
The lunch bell sounded at that moment and Chrstophe picked up his pack. "I shall look forward to Sunday, Sarissa. Thank you... for the invitation and for the gifts." The carving would take pride of place in his bedroom for sure.

"Nice to meet you Sarissa," Saint said dubiously as he remembered her via his connection with Seth and it seemed odd she was showering Christophe with presents and invitations. It was obvious she didn't remember him so he kept quiet about it, not sure how Seth would feel about it. "I would appreciate your company on the bus, Christophe. There are a few of the gang members that take the same one and they make me nervous with their interest in my well-being," he admitted.

"Ok then I will meet you at the main gate after school," Christophe said. He'd had no isses with the gang stuff and had no reason to expect that situation to change. He was neither Asian or of Mexican origin, after all. No onw wanted to take on a French boy... right? Christophe couldn't miss the slightly awkward exchange between Saint and Sarissa but tif they had an issue it sure as hell didn't involve him! "I have to go," he added. "See you later, Saint... and look forward to Sunday," he added to Sarissa. Christophe had a feeling Sunday would be one hell of a lot easier than this evening but at least he'd find out why Lia had been crying... right? (wrapped maybe? or tag for a wrap )
