Character Name: Isabella Katherine D'Agustino
Nickname: Ella. Not Bella, certainly not Izzy.
Age: 17
Birthday: 29th March
Place of Birth: Santa Monica
School: Gould
Grade: Senior
Height: 5'7
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Dark brown
Detailed Appearance: Ella has a heart shaped face that is naturally olive tinged due to her multi-racial background. Her almond-shaped eyes are rimmed with thick lashes and her nose is sharp with a soft blunt tip. She keeps in shape and is proud of her perfectly proportioned body and prefers to maintain it as such for personal reasons.
When she's not in cheerleading mode, her mid-back thick dark brown hair is either loose or pushed back with a hair band. She's none too fussed about how she looks even though she sometimes gets teased by her team mates for being so simple.
Ella adopts a pretty laid-back style whenever she's not in her cheerleader's outfit, ranging from simple t-shirts to baby doll dresses sometimes coupled with jeans or three quarter pants or pleated skirts. Nothing too fancy or elaborate although she is known to throw in really cute boots or a cardigan over spaghetti strap tops.
She rarely wears make-up and even when she does, it's applied very thinly and usually it's only make-up powder, eyeliner and lip balm.
Personality: When one talks about Ella D'Agustino, it's usually about how friendly she is. She's an advocate of every single clique that isn't the jocks or cheerleaders, even if she is a cheerleader herself. Ella is smart, spirited and sprightly.
Her one weakness has to be that despite being very comfortable with herself, she would feel quite down if someone expressed dislike towards her. She's not a pushover but she tends to make sure everyone around her is happy and content. She doesn't show off her smarts or talents nor does she flaunt her status as cheerleader in or out of school.
She's afraid of rejection and failure and tries to be her best even if it means she has to struggle. Ella believes that she can do great but sometimes when she falls short, she rides herself pretty hard.
Thoughts on High School: While Ella knows high school isn't her last platform, she does want to enjoy as much of it as possible. She is active and participates in a lot of school activities and she rather enjoys the rivalry between Gould and Silver. But with the merge, she's put aside any differences she had had and she's trying to befriend many of the Silver students. It helps that she's a cheerleader and she's part of the student council. So she's sure to reach a hand out to anyone in need.
When she heard about the fire in Silver, she begged her parents to donate to the families that were effected by it. And while the Earthquake did not affect her that much; just becoming upset for the people who became victims of it, the shooting shook her the most. She had been one of the people who were held captive and even though she escaped without so much as a scratch, she still has nightmares about that day and she is still jumpy whenever she hears a truck backfiring or a pot falling on the counter top. Her parents have sought professional help for her and for the most part, she seems to be returning to her old self but she's a bit guarded now.

Transportation: A red Vespa
Family Background: Father - William D'Agustino - Heart surgeon [45]
Mother - Sarah Harden - Housewife [37]
Fraternal Twin - Casey [17]
Brother - Alex [9]
History: The D'Agustinos are the average American family, despite their multi-racial and bilingual background; William being of Hispanic and Indonesian descent and Sarah of Dutch and English blood. Even with a slightly inflated economic status, their lives are pretty simple due to William's modest upbringing. He doesn't want any of his children to take anything for granted and so far, his teachings did not fall on deaf ears.
Sarah was 18 and just starting in the entertainment industry when she met and fell in love with William, a medical undergrad and thus began a whirlwind romance of three years before they finally decided to get married. Leaving the job she loved for the man of her dreams, Sarah thought it would be easy being a housewife with twins on the way but the first few years, it wasn't easy at all. Luckily, Casey and Ella only remembered the good things about their past and nothing of the fights that Sarah and William had because of his crazy schedule and her realising that being a housewife was not easy.
But they reconciled in time to welcome their third baby and somehow everything fell into place and their relationship continues to grow stronger every year.

Likes: She's not into the technicalities of taking pictures but she likes taking them and she's pretty good at it. Her single pleasure in life is cookies. She likes to spend time with her family. She loves doting on both her brothers and doesn't care that she's smothering them. She likes to help people even if they don't appreciate it. She likes useless information or interesting facts because they tend to be good ice breakers. People who think up of good ice breakers. Getting her blood pumping.
Dislikes: She doesn't like the word hard. Clowns freak her out. So do gnomes. She doesn't like pink. She thinks pretzels are weird. She doesn't much care for being bullied nor being stepped on. She dislikes people who think violence solves everything. She doesn't like watching people suffer. Even if it's on TV. Bugs. She hates bugs.
Other Information: She's color blind. And when she was three, she found a dead cat under a tree and since then she always makes sure she checks under her Vespa or her parents car to see if there are any dead cats under it.

Writing Sample: "So tell me what's been going on with you, Ella."
As she settled into the long couch, Ella breathed out a sigh with a smile. "Life's been okay I guess. Alex is finally relenting on the whole me sending him to school bit. Casey's joined the swim team and all the girls are going gaga over him. Mom and dad got a new car to replace the one that got totaled in that accident...things look pretty good to me," Ella turned on her side, propping her chin on the palm of her hand and grinned at the doctor sitting opposite her.
Shaking his head bemusedly, he leaned forward in his swivel chair and rested his elbows on his knees. "My question was about you, Ella."
Narrowing her eyes playfully at the doctor, Ella went into a sitting position and folded her hands on her lap. "But my family is everything about me. And I'm killing two birds with one stone. Telling you about myself and what's been going on in my life like I'm supposed to every session."
"You have to start thinking about yourself. At least in these sessions. Yes, I'd love to hear about your family but we're here for you." The doctor's gentle voice made Ella slump slightly.
"Well, I wasn't lying when I said life's been okay. Better than most days. So I'm counting my blessings." Ella shrugged. "Last night I managed to sleep without nightmares so that's okay."
"There's progress," the doctor nodded while scribbling on his notepad. Ella had always imagined what he wrote on it. Sometimes her thoughts drifted and she imagined he was actually writing a mystery fiction. Sometimes she would lean forward a bit while talking just to see what the doctor was writing. He of course knew what she was up to every single time and will always pull away at the right moments.
"Ella?" The doctor repeated her name a few times before she blinked repeatedly. "What were you thinking about, Ella?"
With a dazed smile, Ella shook her head. "Nothing..."
