Thanks to Bree Marcus Haley's party was set up and ready to go. She had decorations up, food, and thanks to Tyler Durnham there was plenty of alcohol. The hot tub was ready for use as well, so was her pool. Her father had called and checked in. He knew about the party. Haley never kept secrets from her dad. He just made sure to remind her to put away any heirlooms and valuables that could get broken. In other words make sure his study was locked...check...that was the first thing Haley did. Haley was excited and ready for this party to begin. HEr father made sure to also remind her to have a cleaning company come the next day to clean. Mr. Rowan was not stupid, he knew parties equaled messes and Haley was not about to clean up. So Haley already had called and scheduled an appointment for the company to come during school. One of the servants would let them in. Haley finished getting ready in record time. Her hair was perfect and so was her outfit. She had spent a long time on the outfit. Haley hoped Cam would come. She knew this was not his scene, but it would be nice to have her boyfriend arrive. She checked the time. She was ready early, but apparently people had decided to arrive early as well. About an hour later the place was packed and teh music had started. Haley walked around saying hi to everyone. Some people she knew others not so much. She walked over to the refreshment table to get something to eat. Apparently in all her excitement she forgot to eat. "I am so hungry. Next time I think I will invest in some chicken or something besides chips and other finger foods." She said to the person next to her. "Having fun?" It seemed to be a hit so far. Being one to take his responsibilities, especially those regarding the important things in life (such as his reputation, women, parties and fun in general), seriously, Tyler considered Haley’s party as no different. He had offered to provide the alcohol and as that was one of the most important elements of a teenage party, he made sure to go and above in this ‘duty’. He skipped his last class, he wanted to make sure everything was delivered to the cheerleader’s house with more than enough time to spare, then head home to change himself. Of course he hired a few people to deliver the booze and set it all up for him, he didn’t need to do all that heavy lifting. Especially considering his ‘small’ contribution to the party consisted of half a dozen kegs, a dozen bottles of wine and a few bottles of spirits thrown in for good measure. When money was never an issue, there was often the tendency to go overboard. With his work for the day done, he made his way home to change into his costume, grateful to Bree for the idea. Sure, he was still dressed in a toga but at least now he had a reason to be dressed in such, instead of just having no other ideas and throwing a toga on. And she hit the mark with him, really, he admittedly was happy with what she picked for him. There was no need to rush back, he made good time and besides, Tyler didn’t want to get to the party early. He hired a driver to take him, he wouldn’t settle with just a taxi after all, and with Casper picking up Tina, and Bree making her own way there, it was the smartest idea. He wasn’t about to drive, not when the amount of drinking he was hoping to do. Besides, the lovely hostess did have a hot tub and pool, both of which would be a shame to waste, so last minute, he packed a small overnight back. Couldn’t hurt to be careful. The party was in full swing by the time he arrive, and the footballer wasted no time in starting to enjoy both the women and alcohol, plenty of both available. But being polite, he didn’t forget his obligations, and he tracked down Haley as soon as he could, moving unnoticed to her side. “That’s an understatement.” he chuckled, “If you like, I can make a call and you can feast until your heart’s content on pizza.” “Now, let me get a good look at you.” Tyler insisted, taking one of her hands in his own, gently twirling her around to soft laughter. “If there’s a woman here who looks more beautiful than you do now, I’ll be very surprised.” he complimented, letting their arms drop but keeping his soft hold on her hand for now. With his other hand, that was currently clutching a (plastic) wine glass, he gestured to his own costume. “Bacchus, also known as Dionysus, god of wine, grapes, ecstasy and celebration, among other things. I figured it suited the occasion.” he grinned. “This is some party you’ve thrown Haley.” OOC: Can't get the damn pic to work! lol. So here's the link to what Tyler's costume is like. maskworld.scene7.com/is/image/maskworld/103792-bacchus-kostuem-costume?$fullsize$

Christophe looked down at himself uncertainly. He'd arrived early at Lia's house so as to dress in the outfit she'd arranged for him. "Are you sure its not too short?" he asked uncertainly "Positive," came the reply. Christophe wasn't as convinced but he threw Lia a bright smile and nodded. If she said it was ok then he'd accept that. * * * The drive to Haley Rowan's party didn't take lonmg and with Christophe making absolutely sure he kept to the speed limit and ran no red lights they arrived on time. No way was he risking being stopped by a passing cop and being seen in this outfit! He walked around to Lia's side of the car and opened her door. "Shall we?" he said, extending his arm for her to hold. He manfully supressed a shiver when the cold evening air cut through his costume but this would be worth it... He hoped. The pair wandered inside... not that the French boy was likely to know anyone. Still, as long as Lia had fun that was all that mattered. And if he managed to emerge with some new friends? Then so much the better! "Soooo..." he breathed in a whisper, "... which goddess is Hayley..?" It paid to know your hostess after all! images.buycostumes.com/mgen/merchandiser/18438.jpg I can't work out how to put pics in here either!

Sarah held her drink loosely in her hand as she sipped on it slowly. Her eyes scanned the party, taking it all in, judging it. The turn out was a good one, both in numbers and popularity. Sure there was a few undesirables but Sarah knew that that couldn't always be helped and it would be easy enough to avoid them, especially once the regular party ended and the after party began. She did notice that most people had gone the costume route instead of the fashionable one. But this didn't bother Sarah one bit. She knew she looked hot in the dress she purchased and if anything, the costumes made her stand out as the clear best dressed her. Although this was no surprise either. In Sarah's mind, she was always the best dressed, whether this was true or not. She caught site of Haley, by the food table and she was on her own. Sarah figured it was the perfect time to give Haley her congratulations that she'd pulled off the party and it had Sarah's approval. But before she reached her, Tyler Durnham joined the mix. And Sarah couldn't say that that really bothered her either. After all, Tyler was much better suited for Haley than her actual boyfriend was. Sarah almost considered leaving them alone altogether but she was already making her way over there and didn't see anyone else worth talking to in her direct line of sight. "Hey guys," she said with a smile, "party's great, Haley," she told her friend. "And Tyler, how's it going?" she asked. She didn't know the boy too well since up until recently they'd gone to different schools but she knew him by reputation. (OOC: I was lucky the picture thing worked for me, lol..)
Haley smirked at Tyler and then looked at the food table and back at him. "Make the call and make sure one has extra cheese and pineapple. Thats mine." Haley said. "I have weird taste in pizza I know." Not many people at a pineapple and cheese pizza without ham on it, but Haley only liked pineapple and cheese, "I promise to pay you back for it." She told him with a sheepish grin.
Haley took Tyler's hand and did the twirl. She was laughing as she did it. Haley smiled, "I bet you will end up saying that to all the women here, but I am flattered I was the first one to receive such a compliment." Haley said squeezing his hand. She never turned down hearing a compliment, "And feel free to say more." She winked. Haley looked Tyler over, "Some how i find that costume very fitting for you...good choice." She told him.
Then Sarah joined them, and she said the name Haley loud enough for the couple behind hem whispering to hear the name Haley (Christophe and Lia) two people Haley did not really know, but would not mind meeting. "Sarah looking good." The girl was always so fashionable. "Tyler was just about to order some real food. He is such a lifesaver." She said laughing looking around, "Anyone seen Cam?" She asked hoping he would show up.

“Don’t worry about it. Please, I insist you let me cover it. But, if it really bothers you, well, I wouldn’t want you spending all night feeling bad, so perhaps you could show me your gratitude later with a kiss. I think it’s a very fair offer.” Tyler teased, hoping it was one Haley took him up on. Because though she had a boyfriend, it was Cam, and the footballer couldn’t quite imagine the guy being able to satisfy the beautiful woman in all the ways she might require, so of course, being the nice guy he was, he was happy to step in and assist. Besides, she was one of the women he hadn’t yet had the pleasure of being with, and it was a situation he was looking to remedy.
He held his heart over his chest at her comment, even though both of them knew it was more than likely true. He couldn’t help it, there was so many beautiful women around, those who very much deserved to be complimented and adored, just like goddesses they were dressed up. And Tyler was willing to be the devoted worshipper, if need be. Just one of the many services he kindly provided. “I may say that to others, but I said it first to you, so you should be honoured.” he teased. “And don’t worry, I plan on complimenting you plenty still over the night.”
Various people bustled past, perhaps some hoping to join the conversation, but they weren’t really worth his time so Tyler largely ignored them. Until Sarah Brody joined them and he found his attention transfixed for a few moments, as it rightfully should be. The girl was looking beautiful, and the effort she put in to look that way should be appreciated.
“I concur with Haley, you’re looking beautiful Sarah.” he complimented, looking every inch like he meant it. Of course he did, and he was already all but settled on who he would like to join in the hot tub later that night. “And I’m doing good, thank you. And thanks for reminding me Haley.” he chuckled, pulling out his mobile. “Just one second.” he smiled, making the call for the pizza. He noticed a couple nearby looking at them, but apart from noticing the guy seemed uncomfortable, paid them no mind.

Lia smiled and leaned close to Christophe pointing out Haley, whom they were standing quite close to actually. I think maybe she is Athena, goddess of wisdom and hunting. But I am not sure,” Lia said doubtfully. She personally was dressed as Astarte who was primarily known as being worshipped by Zezebel, She was a love goddess of Babylonand was thus luridly denounced by Christians etc. The Harlot, the Whore of Babylon and so on. She looked pretty in her green silk type of toga. (http://www.mysticmedusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/astarte.jpg)
It wasn’t fancy or elaborate, but the color looked good on her. She was wearing heavier makeup than normal and she looked like she could start dancing any moment. She gazed up at him with dark lined eyes. You look so handsome,” she murmured against his lips and kissed him with tantalizing intensity.

Everyone else seemed to know each other but for the normally friendly French boy that didn't present a huge problem. The night was young... He'd rectify that situation soon enough. He smiled down at Lia as she stretched up to kiss him, returning her show of affection most willingly. "Green suits you, Llyria," he murmured. "You look... like a goddess," he added with a short laugh.
"Now," he straightened. "Introduce me to our hostess. I really should pay my respects. And at the same time you can introduce me to the others with her." Christophe had seen the boy around school but didn't know his name. "How about we grab a drink on the way?"
Lia nodded and they detoured to the long table set against one wall before returning their attention to the group that had gathered around Haley. "Come on," he said as he took her hand in his and they made their way back over to the group, waiting for a lull in their conversation so that they could break in and speak to Haley. He felt sure he'd never be able to remember everyone's names but at least Lia could provide the odd reminder or two!

"Why thank you," Sarah said, grinning at the compliments. She of course knew she looked amazing, but it was always good to hear it anyway. After all, Sarah did spend a lot of time on her appearance. Sure, she was naturally pretty, but to Sarah, that wasn't nearly good enough. The hours she spent on hair, makeup, and wardrobe choice made all the difference between looking good and looking perfect. Sarah always had to look perfect or she wouldn't even bother leaving the house.
"Cam...no, haven't seen him," Sarah lied. Her voice was flat. It was no secret that she was not the boy's biggest fan, and she in no way planned to encourage his relationship with Haley. She had seen him of course when she came in. And while she honestly didn't have a clue where he was now, she wasn't even going to give Haley a hint in the right direction. After all, it looked like she and Tyler were hitting it off and he was much more suitable for Haley. In fact, if Tyler was less of a player, Sarah would have considered him for herself. But she refused to be anyone's sloppy seconds and she was well aware that he'd already hooked up with a few of her friends. So yeah, she'd flirt and accept his attentions gratefully but she'd never, ever go there.
"Pizza, well I'm sure that will make a lot of people happy," Sarah said. She rarely ate at parties though. She'd maybe have a snack, pick at something for a bit, but she never ate much. The thought of anyone seeing her stuffing her face was too mortifying to really fathom, so she usually waited till afterward and did her pig out at home. "But I'm sure Haley already requested something gross like pineapple," she teased, knowing her friend's taste, "so maybe that won't make a lot of people happy," she said with a laugh.
As for Lia and Christophe, Sarah hardly noticed them. Lia was a freshman, and not even a popular one at that so she was completely off her radar. And while Christophe was cute, he wasn't really anyone to Sarah either, so unless they walked right up to her, she probably wouldn't notice them a bit.

Lia barely knew Haley except through a few earlier classes. She was no wilting daisy though and led Christophe to her, smiling widely. “Haley, I would like to make known to you, my boyfriend, Christophe who hails from Paris. Your party is amazing and you look divine. If you don’t remember me, I’m Lia we were in social studies together last semester. We worked on a project together about Romans. I see you learned your lessons well and put them to good practical use.” She quickly introduced the others, hesitating only at Sarah who was such a bitch. Slowly sipping her drink she watched the school’s elite for signs of disdain. She knew them all from her life guarding, if nothing else, but she was not popular and her brothers were notorious rather than sought out. They might stand out, but not in a good way.
