To say he was in a good mood would be a lie. Jay and Trixie had not talked since that day in the hall when they had the fight. Jay of course knew he had been an ass, but choose to not acknowledge it and let Trixie fume waiting for her to apologize. He was being a stubborn ass and Jay just never knew when to stop. He knew he hurt his sister.
He had gone through the same crap as she did, just not as bad and look at what he said to her. No one asked for abuse, but still he had said she did ask for it and Jay regretted it. Plus it made him look like the bad guy and DJ came out smelling like a rose. That guy was going to cheat on Trixie. Jay was sure of it cause he thought all men were like him.
Jay did not feel like going to school. He considered skipping out during lunch but knew the school might call his granny and his granny expected him to be in school. Jay did respect the woman probably more than anyone else besides his sister, who lost his respect when she started to believe moose head over her own flesh and blood. Still he knew skipping now when he really only had one class left was kind of pointless, still it was tempting.
Instead Jay sucked it up and decided to eat lunch in the cafe. Lucky for him he brought his lunch though. Cause he got a look at some kids plates and it looked as if they were eating dirt. gross. Seriously the school should look into hiring a cook or something. Sometimes Jay wondered if it was a school law or something to serve inedible food. he found a nice quiet seat in the corner and sat down.
He started to eat some of his lunch bringing out a book to read. One you would not expect Jay to be reading. "Gulliver's Travels". .Jay was actually reading a school book. When he heard someone put something down on his table...yes right now it was his table he looked over his book, "Who dares interrupt my silence."
