Silver listened to Evan. He seemed to jump from subject to subject without a breath. Silver did not mind. It just meant she didn't have to talk as much. "You might not like Dungeons and Dragons then, you have to think strategy. But its fun to play. Hard to explain. I like a challenge, but somes its nice not to have to think...i get enough of it at school, but Anderson started the game so of course I joined right away. Sadly its one of the only breaks I get from school work. My mother is all about school work. She is a professor." Silver's mom was all about school.
"I am starting to think giving him candy was not a good idea. Evan is very excited." She said smiling and laughing. Evan made it easy for Silver to feel more comfortable. He would make a good friend. If he wanted to be friends. If not he was fun to hang around with. Dare seemed really nice. He offered her food and she gladly too a spring roll, "I have candy and chips if you want some of that." That was all she had to offer really. She had already eaten most of her lunch before Dare came over.
"Your dad plays the drum Dare? That's cool." She commented. Not that she knew who Dare's dad was. Silver did not get out much. She knew about classical music and that was it. Anything else she knew was random facts. It was a sad life, but Silver was pretty sheltered. "If he is a drummer Evan and he likes you, then you must be good on the drums." Silver told him. Everything pointed to that. "I play drums too. Probably not as good, but I play."

“You really have to do that much work? Well, that sucks. Sorry Silver.” Evan said, immediately feeling sorry for the girl. That would suck, having to spend so much of your free time doing school work. He did as little of it as possible. He always did his homework, even if it usually was done at the last minute. And he studied for things like exams. But besides that, he tried to avoid anything involving study as much as possible. The way he saw it, he was only young once, and his window for doing stupid things and getting away with it was slowly closing, so he might as well take advantage of it while he could.
“Really? That’s awesome!” Evan enthused, this sort of compliment from someone who was so clearly an awesome drummer enough to cause him to bounce around even more than normal. “Cause it would have sucked to piss off Maddog. Cause that’s like a no-no.” he chuckled. “Tomorrow night...nope, don’t think I’m doing anything then. And I like to eat. In case you all didn’t notice, I know it’s something I keep hidden a lot. So, sure, count me in. Will be mad fun to go out eating. Oh, and to meet your old man, of course.”
He grinned happily at Silver’s assumption that he must be good at drums. “Yeah, well, I’m not bad. I practice a lot at it, I like it cause it’s loud.” he admitted cheerfully. “And Dare’s dad isn’t just a drummer, he’s Maddog! He’s like a really, really awesome drummer. Kinda like the drummers’ equivalent of Jimi Hendrix. He’s that good. And don’t listen to her Dare, I reckon Silver would be a mad drummer. I haven’t heard her play yet, I’ve gotta talk her into it.”
Throwing his now empty Butterfingers wrapper down, Evan reached over to take a spring roll. It wasn’t candy, but it was still really good. “I’m always this excited, candy or not. So giving me candy is always a good idea Silver! At least it gives me something to be excited about.” he laughed, demolishing the spring roll in two bites. “Speaking of me having no candy...” He looked over at the empty wrapper almost mournfully, before adopting his best puppy dog eyes expression and aiming it at Silver.

Dare gave Silver a gentle smile. He had been told his smile could be devastating mainly because he had a huge mouth so he was working on toning it down some. My Dad is Maddog Madison from Toxic Religion if you’re into that kind of music. They are classic metal.” Dare had learned early it wasn’t wise to assume that people knew what he was talking about. “It’s cool that you play The only other girl I know that does drums is my sister though she prefers keyboards and she is amazing. Evan’s girlfriend plays too I hear.” Dare could talk music all day and he took another spring roll, eating as they talked. He never stopped looking for Mike though, missing him horribly even though it had only been a few hours.
