Eden twisted a strand of her light blonde hair around her finger as she stood at her locker. She wondered what she was doing. She was sleeping with two guys and keeping her two best friends (Izzy and her brother) completely in the dark about her life. Was she alienating herself? She'd been feeling sort of guilty about it all since Izzy had come and talked to her the other day. She had seemed to be fishing for something...but Eden wasn't quite sure what. She hadn't given her any details, afraid to even talk about Cole. After all, if she told Izzy that she'd slept with Cole, Izzy would certainly ask if he was her first and why she'd been so quick to sleep with him... She didn't really want to lie to Izzy and she couldn't exactly tell her about Jett, so she was sort of at a loss. Okay, maybe she was lying anyway but it was different. It wasn't completely lying if she didn't say anything at all...right?
And what was going on with Jett anyway? And Cole? She did really like Cole...he was a lot of fun to be around. But there was just something with Jett too. Eden couldn't help herself, as much as she told herself she didn't have feelings for him, she kept going back to him over and over again. Did she have actual real feelings for either of these boys? It was all so complicated that she was having trouble sorting it all out and figuring out where her feelings lied. She let out a small sigh, thinking that it had all been much easier when she used to run around wearing jeans that were a size to big and Ben's t-shirts and she didn't even go near makeup. Then she didn't have to deal with any of this.
It was at that moment that Eden felt a tap on her shoulder. Who could it be? She didn't really know but then again she didn't exactly feel like finding out either. Still, she turned around dutifully to see who was calling upon her.

Now that it was the early light of morning, Connor wasn’t sure just how keen he was about going to Haley’s party that night. He seemed a lot more keen on the idea when it was propose to him in the sun, as he lay on a blanket, being fed brownies and other tasty treats by his far too beautiful boyfriend. At least he wasn’t the only guy who’d been carried away by a gorgeous face, at least, he could console himself with that.
At least the day wouldn’t be all bad, he was looking forward to going to Kian’s shoot, watching his boyfriend in action. The fellow Irishman had been shy about that so far, this would be Connor’s first time on the set of the show, so only naturally he couldn’t wait to take a look. And try to hold off on his cheering until the camera stopped rolling. He couldn’t help it if he wanted to be supportive.
And then when they were done, it would be costume time. Something he wasn’t as keen on, mainly due to the warning about the woman who would be outfitting him having wandering hands. He wondered just how wandering, and if he would fare better with Kian’s sister. It would be interesting though, just what he ended up dressed as. Knowing Kian, he would have had very clear instructions for the woman as to just how he wanted to see Connor dressed. Hopefully he would have some modesty left intact by the end of the fitting.
All thoughts of togas and parties quickly flew out the window when he spotted a familiar face, one he hadn’t been social with for a little while. No time like the present, he decided, especially when it looked like something was troubling her. “Hey.” he spoke up softly, grinning when the shoulder tap made her turn. “Are you alright? You’ve been starting at your locker for a while now, I didn’t realise they were so entertaining.” he teased lightly.

Eden smiled when she saw that Connor was the one that tapped her. After all, she hadn't really talked to him in awhile, not to mention that he was 100% not involved in the drama that was her life. Talk about a winner!
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine," Eden said as she pushed some of her overgrown bangs out of her eyes. She was dressed in a pair of short black shorts that she'd paired with a burnt out see-throughish tank that she'd layered over an opaque one and black boots. She was wearing some long layered necklaces, bangle bracelets, and her eyes were lined in black. However, anymore this was a typical look for her. She hardly touched her old clothes anymore unless she was staying in the house all day.
"I'm just...tired," she said, not really wanting to explain all the drama to Connor. She liked that he was uninvolved and planned to keep it that way. "How are things going with you. It's been awhile," she said. "How are things going with Kian?"
She didn't really know Kian too well at all. Really aside from being able to recognize him if she passed him in the hallway and the fact that he was Connor's boyfriend, she didn't really know him at all. Did that make her a bad friend? She supposed they'd all been going sort of their separate ways...although it seemed that Izzy was hanging out with Connor and his friends, although Izzy was dating Taki who hung around with that crowd. She'd been so focused on Jett and Cole that she hadn't even been thinking about all the people she wasn't really hanging out with anymore.

He had to admit, Eden sure looked tired. Exhausted, actually. And he was sure it wasn’t to do with a missed night’s sleep. But it was very obvious, very quickly, that whatever the reasoning for her tiredness was, she wasn’t prepared to talk about it. Which he understood completely, not everyone wanted to talk through their issues constantly. He was one such person. Sometimes when something was bothering him, he preferred to avoid the issue completely and distract himself. That always worked for him.
And it couldn’t be completely terrible. It had to be bad, but nothing really life threatening, at least. From what he knew, some people tended to let their appearance go when they were really suffering, and Eden looked great, from what he knew about fashion anyway (Kian was an influence on him in that front). Maybe it was a issue with guys, she was pretty, for a girl, and he was sure he’d seen more than one guy with her, so that could be it. Knowing that, and that it wasn’t any of his business, he didn’t push any further. If she wanted to talk, he’d let her in her own time.
“Things are going pretty good.” Connor grinned, happy to be the one to help distract. “I’m even thinking about introducing him to my parents soon. Though, can’t see my dad being too thrilled about it, secretly, I know he’s hoping I’ll bring home a girl soon. Think he’ll appreciate it if I make Kian wear a dress?” he laughed. “Okay, no, I don’t really like that mental image.”
“And I’m going to be watching him this afternoon, filming on the set of this new show he’s on. I’m really looking forward to that. Then he’s talked me into going to Haley’s party tonight. It’s not really my thing, costume parties and all, but I just can’t say no to him.” Connor laughed, resting against the locker. “It should be good though, my scene and all. You know, with me being such a jock, with track and all. Are you going to be going?”

Eden laughed when Connor mentioned dressing Kian up in a dress to meet his parents. "Well, let me know if you need one. I'm sure we could find you something quite fabulous," she teased. And really Eden was the girl to go to for a dress. Maybe it didn't seem like that before a few weeks ago based on the way she dressed, but her mother was a famous actress and actresses always got tons of designer samples sent to them for free. The designers did this so the actresses could get photographed wearing whatever label and then other people would want to buy them. So really, Eden always had her pick of absolutely anything she wanted to wear.
"That's cool," Eden said. "What's the show?" She never really knew those things though. Despite her connections, she was really bad at keeping up with the latest show or movie. She rarely watched TV herself as she usually liked to spend more time outside surfing, and although the Patridge's had a huge in home theater, loading with tons of movies that already came out...that seemed to deter them from ever actually going to see movies at the real theater, unless it was one of their parents' premiers of course. Otherwise they'd just grab it on DVD and watch it on a movie theater sized screen in the privacy of their own home.
"Oh right...Haley's party," Eden said. "Jett mentioned something about that," she commented, not really wanting to talk about Jett. But Connor knew that both Ben and Eden were tight with Jett and Izzy and Jett probably would be at the party tonight...so...yeah. Eden partly wondered if she and Ben should show up. If they went with Jett, no one would say a word. Plus, it would give her a chance to hang out with Connor some more and keep and eye on Jett and see who else he was flirting with. Sure, he claimed that he wasn't hooking up with anyone else right now, but it was only a matter of time before he did...right???

He had to admit, the whole notion of Kian getting all frocked up was a funny one. If anyone could pull it off, it would be his boyfriend. “You know, with an offer that good it seems a shame to pass up the opportunity.” Connor laughed. “Maybe like for Halloween or something, he...” He broke off then in a fit of laughter, wiping tears from his eyes as he noticed Eden looking at him clueless. “Ah sorry.” he grinned. “I just got this image in my head, of a couple of other friends wearing dresses. Because I know they would. Especially one of them, I’m pretty sure he’d do just about anything for a laugh. And would probably destroy the dresses in the process. So maybe not.” At least now if another costume party came up, he’d have the perfect idea for Patch and Evan.
“His show’s only new, but it’s going to be really big. At least, I think, but there’s the possibility that I might be a little on the biased side.” he admitted cheerily. It sounded pretty good, from what Kian had told him, and though Connor didn’t normally watch too much tv, he was going to make sure he caught every episode of the show. Then again, he might just watch it for an ulterior motive. Well, of course that was the case. Even though he was dating him, it didn’t mean he didn’t take every chance he had to perve on his boyfriend.
If he hadn’t picked up on it before, it would have been obvious by now that something was troubling Eden. She didn’t answer his question about the party, just that she knew of it. He thought she would be going for sure. Maybe there was a problem with Jett? He couldn’t see what it would be though, as far he knew, the guy was more Ben’s friend then Eden. He was definitely curious, but he knew better than to ask about something that wasn’t his business if the girl was keen to keep it to herself.
“Oh, so Jett’s going to be going? Will Izzy be coming with him? I haven’t had a chance to talk to her much since, well, you know.” he shrugged. “How’s she doing? I know it must be really tough on her, on both of them.” He hoped Izzy would be able to make it that night, if not, he would have to track her down tomorrow. It had been too long since he checked in on her.

Eden couldn't help but smile as Connor started cracking up at the mental image of Kian and his friends wearing dresses. "Well, it looks like we have a winner," she said. "Let me know if you decide to go with that come Halloween and I'll help you out," she told him, thinking it might be fun to do their makeup as well. That would probably make it even funnier.
"That's cool," she said about Kian's show. "You'll have to let me know when its on and I'll be sure to check it out. If Kian can get like an advance copy of the pilot we could probably even do a screening at our theater," she said, trying to remember if Connor had ever been to her house. Anyone who had pretty much knew about their massive home theater but otherwise people would get confused and think that they owned and actual movie theater, although considering the size of the one in their house, there really wasn't much of a difference anyway.
Eden was obviously too caught up in her own thing to notice how obvious she was being about the whole Jett thing. She was usually pretty good about keeping it under wraps since she usually had to, but the fact that Connor was completely uninvolved sort of caused her to let her guard down a little. "Well, yeah, Jett's friends with that whole crowd," she said. "Izzy...I have to ask her. We've been a little out of touch lately with everything," she said, "but she seems pretty much as okay as she can be. Her dad's been in town though and she's not too happy about that. I think that's what she's more focused on right now. But I should try and get her to come out. Could be fun," she said, although she totally was thinking about how easy it would be to spy on Jett and see how he acts around everyone, meaning the other girls.
Eden pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Izzy. She really hoped she could convince the other girl to go because she wasn't sure if she'd be able to convince her brother or not and she couldn't exactly show up by herself with Jett.
