She hadn’t been expecting him to agree. As much as Sari tried to hide her surprise, it was impossible for Tyler not to notice it. She seemed genuinely shocked that he so readily agreed to spend the weekend with her, and he loved the reaction. She really shouldn’t have been so surprised, he thought though. Sure, as she had pointed out, the accommodations would be less than ideal, and not quite what he was used to. But regardless, it was still two days away with a very beautiful woman, one he had made it very obvious to that he wanted to sleep with her. So, of course if going away increased his chances of that, it was an opportunity he would happily grab a hold of. And the same logic applied when she moved even closer to him, and he wrapped his arm tighter around her, grinning almost triumphantly. It was going to be great when they were finally together. It had to be.
“Something tells me that you’d rather enjoy being the envy of others. And why shouldn’t you, really, a beautiful woman such as yourself.” he mused. People like the two of them should really always be the envy of others. It was part of what made being so great so fun. ”Don’t worry, I’m sure no one will come after you directly. You just may have to get used to being on the receiving end of jealous stares. Again, something I think you might like.” he joked.
Her comment only made him grin more, and he looked her over, amusement dancing in his eyes. “Coming after us? So, there is an us?” he teased, his fingers moving lightly over her back. “Lucky me. And all Sunday evening to recuperate? You’re making the weekend sound very promising. Though, I assure you, I’m not so easy to wear out. Feel free to try though.” He really hoped she meant what he thought she meant. Because he really couldn’t see what else there was to do all weekend if she was still going to insist on resisting him.
“I know, I know.” He raised both hands in front of him, almost defensively, before resuming his hold on her once more. “I’m going on this little trip only hoping to get to know you more. And if anything else happens, well, I’ll just consider myself very lucky indeed.” She would sleep with him, he was sure of it. She wouldn’t want him to go away with her for that long if she wasn’t planning to. Sari just wanted to play hard to get still, make him work for it. And he was more than happy to play along. He sighed at her kiss, if her talent with that was anything to go by, she was going to be remarkable at certain other things. “Something tells me I will.”
“Sock on the door, got it.” Tyler laughed in return. If he played his cards right on the weekend, he could see her becoming a very regular visitor to his pool house. Not that he minded, of course, he was always happy to entertain a member of the fairer sex. “Now, I can’t see me not being able to handle it. And I’m sure there’s nothing that could drag me away. But sounds fair to me, I’ll meet you there. It’ll give me something good to look forward to on Friday night.” He was going to stay the whole weekend, he would make sure of it. Couldn’t have him proving her right now.
The bell rung a lot sooner than he would have liked, but at least he felt he was succeeding in his attempts to win her over, much sooner than he would have thought. But of course, he was good. “Well, I’m really, really looking forward to our weekend together, Sari.” he murmured, leaning down for one last kiss, making sure she would be too. Then he turned and walked off, really pleased with himself.
