The match went well. Not surprisingly the boys team emerged as victors but for Felipe the icing on the cake was that he'd managed to score not once but twice. Surely his position on the school team had now been secured? The coach's comments after the game had only served to confirm that and he changed out of his football kit with a satisfied smile on his face.
He dropped down to sit on the bench and pulled out his phone.
'Shame you missed it. We won. I scored 2 goals. I am playing for the team permanently. See you later I hope! Fel'
Jessica would hopefully read his message and might even want to get together this evening. If not he would find something else to do. It might not be quite as much fun as being with her but...
Felipe headed outside and towards the bike rack. He unlocked his bicycle and set off for home. He'd drop off his kit, grab a shower and a bite to eat... and then come up with a way to spend the rest of his night.
