Thank heavens all the chaos of Valentines Day was finally over and had been for a couple days. If ever there was a holiday that Tae despised that was the one. She only ventured out of the house that day because she had to go to school. It was disgusting, all the lovey-dovey crap everyone. People like acting like morons. It was ridiculous, once school had let out she had gotten as far away from the whole thing as she could. But now that it was all over, life could get back to the way it was supposed to be. At least until the next highly overly commercialized holiday. She wasn't so sure when she had become bitter and cynical of the day, but somewhere in her life something had happened to make her bitter. Oh well, everyone had to have their own quirks. Right?
She spent an extra hour or so at school though, getting caught up on some work before she headed out. It was the weekend and she wanted to get as much done here as she could. It would be tempting to procrastinate and not do it at home. Not that she had big plans or anything for the weekend. She didn't. She never did really. She put her books back into her bag and tossed it over her shoulder. On her way out she stopped at the vending machine and got herself a drink. Pushing the doors open she walked outside.

After school Sunar had gone to the grocery store, stocked up on important things like Little Debbies, but there had been no Tae to bother. He couldn't say he was surprised, it wasn't as though he expected her to live in the snack food aisle at the supermarket, but as he had been hoping to see her there, he was maybe a little bit disappointed. So instead of heading home, he decided to head over to Silver. It was even less likely she would be at school, seeing as school had been out for awhile already, but he didn't know where else to look for her, and he had to admit he was kind of interested in talking to her again. Maybe not ask her out, like he'd implied to Connor, which, truth be told, he'd already forgotten about, but just hang out. She was fun, and he was bored.
So he was shocked when he pulled up to doors of Silver High and saw Taegan appear. Shocked, but not enough to deter him from approaching. "Hey! I was hoping you'd be here!" He shouted, swinging off his bicycle. "I got you something." He told her, sliding off his backpack, and diving in to find a very smushed box of Little Debbies. "Umm. Sorry. Doesn't look like it survived the ride over here." He shrugged apologetically, holding it out to her.

When Tae exited the building she did not expect to find anyone else there. Except may be the janitorial staff. She really hadn't meant to be here so late. Time had just gotten away from her while she tried to get a head start on her work. So, when she walked out she was a bit by surprise to see someone else there. She took a step back while she figured out who it was. When it all registered she gave a little smile. Sunar. Not anyone that she expected to see, but that did not mean she wasn't happy to see him. She hadn't seen much of him lately, but then she had kind of been in hiding until all the sicking affairs of Valentines was over.
She walked up to him and his bike. "Hey, yourself...stranger." she watched him remove his backpack and look for something. He had something for her? What could he possible have for her? She watched with curious anticipation. She could not help but smile more and laugh light at the poor smashed box of Little Debbie's. "You didn't have to do that..." she reached out and took the box though. "Thank you..." That was one of the sweetest gestures anyone had made toward her in a long time. To some it might seem silly, a box of junk food. But it's the little things that can matter most and mean the most. "So, what brings you to this side of town?"

"Oh, but I did. You don't understand, there was this guy with a gun, he forced me to buy the Little Debbies," Sunar explained, as though this were all perfectly normal, or possibly truthful. Of course he was just making it all up, but it couldn't hurt, because she surely knew that.
He shrugged when she asked why he was there. "Just a whim." He lied, and then quickly amended, "Actually, I was hoping to see you. Haven't really talked, you know, wanted to see how you were doing. And looks like I'm in luck!" He smiled, genuinly pleased that she had somehow actually not gone home. He could have just hung around outside Silver, wishing she would magically show up, that would have been a very useful thing to do if he had missed her.
"So wanna go to Common Grounds?" He asked, hoping she liked coffee. Because who didn't like coffee? And it was kind of trendy, artsy, a good place to go and sketch and people watch. Also, it was a good place to ask girls to. Not that he'd ever done such a thing until just now, but he had seen people go there to chat with what he assumed to be dates. (Although he told himself this wasn't a date, just because Taegan was fun didn't mean he wanted to date her. Did he? No. Maybe.)
"I hear that coffee goes great with Little Debbies."

"Oh, well if a man had you at gun point and was forcing you to buy the Little Debbie's, what else could you do. Right?" she smiled going along with his little joke. "I wouldn't want to see you come to any harm over a little sweet indulgent snack. And besides how rude would be of me to then refuse them, after you went through so much to get them." Who else but she and well Sunar make snack foods into such heoring adventure. She could almost imagine Indiana Jones swinging in on a grape vine or something and snatching a box of the sweets off some alter or something.
"You were hoping to see me?" That wasn't something she was used to people saying. It kind of made her feel good. "Well, I'm glad I decided to stick around and do something work after school. Otherwise, I might have missed you, and your heroic adventure to obtain me snacks." She opened her bag and put the already mangled box inside.
"You are correct, nothing goes better with debbie's than a good cup of coffee." she nodded, "I could sure go for a good cup right about now.."

She had agreed! Why was he always surprised when she agreed? It wasn't as if there wasn't precedence, and going for a cup of coffee was much less risky than going to a formal for a rival school in jeans.
He swung himself back onto his bike, "Hop on?" He asked. It wasn't nearly so impressive, say, as a motorcycle, but it was his and he was proud of it. In some circles, bicycles were very impressive, of course, but only when spandex was involved (not that he was opposed to spandex, gymnastics required some equally fun uniforms).
"So what were you doing here so late?" He wondered what it could have been that kept her there. He was thankful for whatever it was, as otherwise he would have missed her, and who knows when he would have had the chance to see her again? Certainly not over the weekend, since he didn't have any idea where she lived. He might have been tempted to eat that whole box of Little Debbies by himself! And while he was sure he was up to the challenge, it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun as seeing her.
He also wondered if she would have agreed to go to the rave with him, tomorrow night, but then on the other hand, he wasn't sure how she felt about weed, so better not to risk that until he had a better idea. Perhaps they could do something during the day, though, before the party. "Hey, so, what are you doing tomorrow?"

Get on? The bike? Not that she was against bikes. She just wasn't sure how safe this really was. She didn't want him getting hurt or them both getting hurt. But then again...what the heck , right? You only live once. Shouldn't let any chance to do something out of the norm however slight it might be pass you by. She shrugged a bit and threw her leg over and somewhat got herself situated. "What was I here for?" she shrugged again. "Nothing..that I had to be here for. I thought sticking around here would entice me to get more homework done than I would have at home. it would have been too easy to procrastinate at home.' she laughed. "It worked. I got the biggest majority of it done."
Tae wasn't necessarily one for drugs herself, but she wasn't going to be one of those uptight people who preached to those who choose to do them about all the horrors of drugs. She figured they were all old enough now and had been through all the talks to know the risk and dangers involved. She would probably decline if offered, but she would never say *never*. Because truthfully she didn't know what she would do if put in that situation. More than likely she would decline and say *no*, but that's not concrete or set in stone.
"Tomorrow?" she thought a moment. "I don't have plans..I rarely have plans for the weekend." she admitted. It was true, no sense lying about it.
