Airport Pick Up Service (Alex: Tag Mackenzie)

As he parked in the LAX car park he wondered about how long he would have to wait for their cousins, how long before he could be doing something productive with his day and maybe keep his brothers head on his shoulders. He wasn't sure but he had a small clue that not all was right with his brother, after all he was Jade's twin if any body knew his brother it was Alex. Something was coming but he had no idea what it was, or why it was coming for that matter.

Jade was the most level headed person in the family, for him to get angry you would have to push him a long way... oh but what the hell did he know. He looked up at the arrivals boards to find the gate they were coming in from looking at the note that Jade had given him with the details of the flight. His arrival at the gate before time meant he could get comfortable. The first of the shocks arrived when his parents got of a domestic plane and not of the private jet, the next was that his grandparents were just behind them. Then he spotted Mackenzie and Bailey as they got of the plane.

"Alex." his dad said as he hugged him.

"You know that Jade is going to hit the roof when he sees you all right." Alex said to him as he pulled free of the man.

"He'll love the surprise." his grandfather said.

"I somehow doubt that so very much." Alex said. "If I can figure out what game your playing the moment you walk of the plane grandpa, exactly how long do you think its going to take my smarter twin brother to work it out." Alex didn't mind showing open hostility to his grandfather he didn't have so much to worry about. "If he gives you what for, don't be surprised." Alex added with a shake of the head.

"He'll love the surprise." his mother said SJ shook her head they really could be clueless about Jade was all that he thought about this situation.

"Hey Mac, Bailey come in the car with me, the family can get your bags into the limos." Alex said.

"You drive a two seater." his father said.

"I borrorwed your car." Alex said dismissively before heading for the exit. "So how have you both been?" he asked.

He didn't know how Jade was going to take this latest revelation but he imagined it would not be good, he also knew that this wasn't something that he could talk to Jade about over the phone. So he knew that his brother would be in for quite a shock when he got home, no doubt Jade would be more than a bit angry at the no warning.

It had been a long fight of non stop crap from his grandfather and his uncle. Mac lost count after Jade's name had been mentioned for the hundredth time. Alex's name popped up half the amount as Jade's. The first moment of peace came when his grandfather fell asleep. It had been a good few hours of silence.

Of course Mac had an IPOD so thank god for head phones cause Mac could just tune them out. He really did not care to answer questions about why his dad had decided to send him and his older brother all the way across an ocean. Mac did not feeling like getting into it. It was no secret how Grandfather felt about same sex relationships and Mac did not feel like defending himself at the moment.

So he was ready to jump for joy when the plane landed. He grabbed his backpack that he carried on the plane and followed the others out. Mac was off in his own little world when he finally saw either Jade or Alex. It quickly became apparent which twin it was and Mac did not care. He loved both his cousins equally.

"See you guys at the house." Mac called to his uncle and grandfather. He walked off with Bailey and Alex, "Thank god for you man. Thats how I am doing. That flight seemed way longer then it was." He admitted with a smile. "Other then that, honestly I am glad to be in LA." It was true. Especially since he and his father were not getting along right now. "How are you...and hows Jade? What has been going on since we last saw you." It had been a while.

Alex grinned, "What you mean besides getting shot at or in Jade's case. He actually got shot, well I'm still with Sarah, going to be seeing her later tonight at the house hopefully. Jade's dating someone more than half way decent in Jeremy, haven't really spent as much time with him as I probably should... but he seems good for Jade. The only thing that we can all agree on is his better than Mike, your see him tomorrow most likely doing his impression of stalking Jade." Alex said which was an over exaggeration but he didn't particularly like Mike, he did however likie Jeremy. Not much not to like about him he thought to himself.

"Did he go on about the wars? I swear theirs something about old people, which just drive the rest of us up the wall. Oh hell not that it matters all that much. They'll be gone in a couple of days at most a week." Alex said with a grin on his face as he lead the way out of the terminal. "I know that the family will sort out the luggage... so what do you say to having your first taste of American diner food... as an actual long term stayee in the country." Alex said. "Or do you guys just want to sleep, I have to warn you traffic is going to be a killer on the way back into the city." Alex warned. "So I'd recommend us getting some food for the trip." he added.
