Bass was preparing for the auction. Okay so there was not much preparation involved. Actually she was not sure she was going. Alex had not asked yet, and Sarah was not sure that meant she should go, or if she had to wait for an invite. Did Alex want her to go? Was she allowed to go without being invited? So many questions. Sometimes have a boyfriend could be complicated. Yes Alex was worth the complication. He was something. Sarah was still not sure what she thought of Alex, but one thing was for sure, She was glad they were dating. he was one of a kind. Well technically since Alex had a twin, He was more like two of a kind, but still. Personality was different, so that counted. Which reminded Skye to seek Jade out and see if he needed help with the auction. Even if Alex did not ask, did that mean she did not have to go. Okay now the thoughts were driving Sarah insane. Was it possible for a guy to make a girl go a tad insane. Its just...not being able to read a guy was difficult, but the it was fun. Sarah had a cute black dress for the occasion either way. Nothing too rocker is. Actually besides her hair, her outfit would look pretty normal for such a form event. She wanted to make sure the event went well and show her support. Besides the dress was actually really cute. Sarah went to her locker to grab what she needed for after lunch, then decided to pend her lunch break in the music room. Which was nothing new cause she was usually there unless Alex dragged her off campus, which she never minded. Sarah looked around and decided on the piano to play. It was therapeutic. She loved music. Sarah ate a little of her lunch then sat at the bench deciding to play Fur Elise. One of her favorites. Such a lovely song. It was so lovely she got lost in playing it until she finished and noticed someone else i the room. "You know I believe music speaks to you. You just have to know what it is saying."

Theo had a competition that night, he really couldn't get out of it for the auction, he wanted to take his music seriously and one way to do it was to do well in this competition this evening, his family was going to be there to listen to him play... the lunch hour was the last chance he would have to practice before the event later that evening. He found his way to the music room his sax case in hand he pushed open the door to the sound of someone already playing. When she spoke he smiled, "When I heard music for the first time... rather than felt the vibration of the beat I thought it was the most... beuatiful... thing on earth." Theo said to her with a smile. "The Fur Elise right?" he asked as he sat his case on top of a desk and brought his Saxophone out to play. "You mind if I join you, I have a competition... tonight and I need to get some final practice... in before the actual event." Theo said with a smile.
"Do you know th Ave Maria?" Theo asked her. "I have the sheet music if you don't, I could really use some help, I'm having trouble hitting the long note at the end." Theo said to her with smiling. "I mean if you don't have anything better to do with your time that is." Theo added.

"When I heard music for the first time I felt at home. As if I belonged surrounded by music." Sarah said with a smile. "I agree it is beautiful." she told the guy, "Sarah, nice to meet you. Anyone who speaks of music so lovely is a friend of mine." It was true. Anyone who appreciated music was in Sarah's good graces. Music was something she took very seriously. It was her passion. although she might not want to be a famous musician, although the idea was not out of the question, Sarah wanted to do something in music when she got out of high school.
"Correct. It took me a few months to master that piece when I first started playing it." She could not even tell you how long she had been playing different instruments. She noticed his saxophone case. Now that was one instrument she could play, but not very well at all. In fact when it came to choosing between Sax and the piano, Sarah had better choose the piano. "I would love to help. When it comes to music, I have all the time in the world."
"The Ave Maria....its a difficult piece." Sarah admitted, "But a lovely one. i like the slow melody. Now that is a good song to play before bed cause it's so relaxing. That one gets to you." She told him. "Let me see the music. I don't have mine with me." She might know the song, but she did not have it memorized. "I definitely think I can help you. I would be honored." She would always help a fellow musician.

Theo nodded when she asked to see the music, he bent down over his case retrieving the piece before handing her what he had... "I chose the piece for its difficulty... I'm struggling with the end of the piece, some times I hit it other times I don't hold it for long enough." Theo explained with a smile. "I've been playing for quite a while... which is a lot harder than it sounds.... if you can't hear what your playing." Theo told her. "I'm a much better dancer than I am a musician... but I'm told I'm pretty good... let me know what you think." Theo said as he stood just behind and to the side of her so he could see the music for himself. "Would you mind queing me in?" he said with a smile.
Theo found his start with a smile, it was easier to practice he found when he had someone to help out with the timing... to keep time with. He'd seen the girl around school a lot, but had never really taken the chance to get to know her. Mainly because he was pretty busy right now with various projects around the school. Helping the musical actor's learn their dance routines was annoyingly time consuming in some cases, he wasn't used to working with untrained dancers, he still loved to do it. Like playing an instrument you never forgot it once you learned... or walking for that matter.
"Thanks for helping... me out..." Theo said to her with a smile as he pushed his hair back behind his ears and away from his mouth.

"Sometimes when youhave someone to play with it helps. My dad will play with me, and sometimes having someone else helps you stay in tune and almost gives you a tad bit of a competitive edge to hit all the notes. My dad use to do that. Challenge me to get the song right and the notes as he got them. Maybe when youplay you could imagine someone else on Sax...imagine doing the song with them, and being better." Then again it depended if he could do that.
Sarah could because she grew up with her dad using visual techniques. "But you are really good. I canot comment on your dancing, but from starting out with just feeling the vibrations, you have done very well for yourself. I cannot play the sax like that. I can hit a few notes, but mostly when I play it souds like a quacking duck." Sarah said with a laugh. it was true. Her best instruments were the piano and the strings. The others were just ones she played with, when she could.
"I always have time to help out someone who oves music lik I do. You dance too...and play sax...like a jack of all trades...I admit dancing is my weak spot. I am better at standing still." She said with laugh.

Theo smiled, "Before I got this thing." Theo said tapping just below where the implant was. "I learned to visualize what I was playing... see the notes as I was playing... it helps that I have a head for remembering things." Theo said to her with a smile. "I've always liked the arts, I cant draw to save my life or paint for that matter. Where as music drama and dance... I own that side of things... well not own but pretty close to own it." Theo said.
Theo started up with out a warning he could talk about it or get started and see what she thought of what he had so far... he had it all locked down and in place but he wanted to see whether or not someone thought it would work. Or whether he was going to look like a complete fool on stage later on. He was so into what he was doing that he was surprised to find that he was at the end of the piece so soon.
"Thanks for telling me I'm good, music is kind of a secondary target for me in my life. I was at a performing arts school in New York, studying Ballet, a lot of guys think I'm nuts for even thinking about doing something like that. Apparently a deaf black kid needs all the help possible to keep what little street cred he has... personally I couldn't care less... what kind of cred do you get for driving around in a Ferrari these days... its got to be more than what I'd get for a carrying a gun right." Theo said then started laughing uncontrolably. "That's one of the rare times I have spoken without a stutter." he said to her as way of explanation. "Not much of one anyway." Theo added.
"I'm convinced I can teach... any body to dance... its easier than learning to ride a bike you know." he said to him.
