Not Rushing Vasilisa attn: anyone

Vasilisa was able to have breakfast with the family this morning. It was always a iffy thing if they did. One or the other was always busy in the morning. It was rare all three of them could be at the table together. She enjoyed the conversation and none of them rushed away. And it was early enough they did not have to rush. After eating and having some coffee she went and showered and got ready for the day. Going outside she got in her car and headed up the driveway in her car. She looked back at her home and smile. It was big and gothic type of structure and she loved her house, it had character, sure it proably looked intimdating to others when theys aw it but it was not to her. Living there her whole life she knew it well and never found it scarry.

Getting to school she went to her locker and said hi to some people around her and then wandered away. She went and sat on a step and took out a book and leaned against the wall to read it. She kept checking the time and she still had little over a hour before first period started. She was into her book she took a few mintues to hear her name. She looked up and smiled at he person. "Hi" she said to them. "Sit down" she patted the spot next to her.

After the incident at the cafe, Zane didn't mind heading to school because there would be at least one person who he could trust.

He managed to get through the crowds of kids to his locker and gathered his items for the day. The fewer trips in the hall the better. There was still some time before class so he decided to head outside and get some air.

He reached the steps and looked around. There were those that were sneaking a smoke before school, a couple who seemed to be joined at the him. He sighed and reached into his bag and took out his diagramless crossword puzzle book and a small bag of veggies, brought home from his folks from their party the night before.

He was searching for a place to sit and the only spot open was next to a girl and a beautiful one at that! He suddenly felt smaller than normal.

"Ec...excuse me," In a voice almost mouse like. "Is...is it okay if I sit here with you?" He expected to be laughed at but instead was greeted with a smile and a "Hi" "sit down".

He smiled gently. "Thank you." He sat and stretched his legs in front of him. He thought maybe he should offer what he had. "Care for a baby carrot or two?"

Pip was not in the mood for school. She didn't even give Lexi a chance to Avoid riding in with her. She arrived early in a typical contrary fit. She practically ran up the stairs, coming to grief on someone's extended leg. Falling hard, she tore up her knee and stockings badly, unable to stop herself from crying out in pain. She wanted to swear at someone, but she was too well trained for that and instead sniffled quietly as she tried to figure out how she was going to get to the nurse. She already had blood on her new skirt and her ankle was ballooning up quickly. Her only hope was that someone would help her stand and lend support as she limped a long.
