Telling What is Going on Cat attn: Colby

Cataline got dressed and left before Quenten could stop her. He had stayed at his place last night, so it was easy for her to get up extra early make something and shower and get dressed for the day. She dressed as quick as she could grabbed her purse and book bag and hurried out the door. She got in her car and started it up hoping he would not hear. She kept a eye on his house as she back out and as she was driving off, she did not even see him come out once or notice the light come on in his room.

She drove to school and parked. She was the first one there since it was two hours before school even started. She just sat in her car and waited. She saw Colby pull up and got out of her car. She followed him in and when he left his locker and walked by a empty classroom she was waiting. She did not even turn on the lights, she just pulled him into the room and shut the door.

"Colby we need to talk" she said in a rush. "Don't hate me I do love you" she said and looked into his eyes. "Let me explain everythign" she said and sat on the desk. She kept looking at him making sure he stayed in the room. "I ran out of the stadium after I saw you flirting with some girl and giving her the special smile you give me. I was in tears I ran into Quenten. And I was in a bad place and he used that and he manipulated me to break up with you. I love you now, before, and always. I stayed with him to keep you safe, that was the deal if I stayed with him and he would not bother you or Renton. I am doing all this for you." She did not notice the tears till one slid down her cheek. "Don't hate me please Colby, I am doing this for you. I will do anything I can to keep you safe, because I love you so much, you are the man I will always love."

Colby arrived at school and sat in his car for a moment trying to workout what he was going to tell Cat. Everything had been a big misunderstanding. He could only blame himself for jumping to conclusions.

Thanks to Si who knocked some sense into him then the Renton who add his two cents to all that as well. His jaw was still sore from meeting Renton's fist.

He entered the school hearing the announcements about today's birthdays and what not. He had no idea Cat was following him or that she was planning a sneak attack of sort on him.

Once he had his things for the morning he started down the hall, when he was grabbed. His instinct was to punch who ever it was that was until he heard Cat's voice.

He let her speak her peace. The main thing was she still loved him, maybe more than ever now. He held a finger to her lips to quiet her down.

"I love you too, I never quit. The girl you saw me with was a girl I hadn't seen since I was a kid, when I told her about the engagement, she was thrilled. She wanted to meet the lucky girl." He smiled faintly. "You get away from Quenten anyway you can. You don't need him. I love you too much to let this happen."

Colby pulled Cat in close and kissed with as much fire and passion that he could.

Cat kissed him back and held on to him. She kissed him like she has not kissed him in years and years. "I love you" she said between kisses. She was glad that this room was empty because if someone walked in right now she would not know or even care if they did. When she pulled back for air she laid a hand on his cheek. "I love you so much." Catalina could never get tired of telling him she loved him, and it was never to many times that she could. It made her happy to hear that he loved her to and he was right she needed to get away from Quenten.

"How can I get away from him? I don't want him to hurt you" she said softly and looked deep into his eyes. "I don't care if he hurts me as long as you are safe" she said her voice filled with fire and passion. She would do anything to keep the man she loved safe and that includes doing whatever she had to do. "He has not tried to get me into bed yet, he just stayed over and slept in my bed" she said. She wanted to be completely honest with him, she knew he proably feared that Quenten forced her to have sex, she hoped it put him at ease that he did not.

"I had to leave like a few hours before school started. He did not see me leave, I wanted to be sure he did not know I was leaving. He would figure out it was to see you and I could not let him know" she leaned into him. Her arms were still around him and she did not plan on letting him go untils he had to.

Colby sniffed.

Having Cat back with him felt more right than it had before. "I love you too!" he gasped out between the kisses. When Cat placed her tender hand on Colby's cheek, he held it tight, softly kissing each digit.

"He won't hurt me Cat, I'm promising you that right now. Do what ever you have to leave him, just get away from him. Who knows what he'll do anytime soon, I mean he is a time bomb set to go off and I want you at a safe distance from him when that time comes." He cringed at the idea that the monster had forced his way into Cat's house and slept in her bed, although he could breath easier when there was no sex involved.

"You're did the right thing. Even though I'm sure he's smart enough to know where you went. Just keep being unavailable for him like you are." He wrapped his muscled arms around Cat. "If we could get married right now, I'd suggest we go for it. That is, if you still want to be with an old fool like me?"
