DJ drove to school that morning, feeling good. Nothing was going to ruin this day. He had been honest with Trixie, and she trusted him enough to stay with him.
Not even the presence of Jay and his unwanted butting in could ruin this day for him. He pulled into a spot near the door and strolled inside to his locker. He took out his books for the first half of the day.
He closed the locker with ease, almost like he was dancing. He took his phone out to send a text to Trixie. "At my locker, stop on by. DJ".
He leaned against the closed locker, popped his ear buds in and started listening to music. He was feeling good. That was when he saw her.
The girl!
Kalina!
He pulled the earbuds out, the music still lightly playing. He wove through the crowd of kids in the hall to get to her.
"Kalina, hey, wait up." He finally was able to reach her. "I was hoping to see you again." He smiled. "I'm glad to see your father didn't hold you back from going to school today. I'm hoping to introduce you to Trixie, the girl I was telling you about."

Kalina woke up that morning happy to go to school. She would actually have someone that she counted as a friend their today. She went down and had breakfast with her parents before going up to her room and getting ready. Once she was dressed she did her hair and make up and then got her stuff together for the day. She headed to the kitchen and got a russian coffee to go. After saying good bye to her parents she met her driver out front, he held open the back door of the car so she could get in and shut the door behind her. He got behind the wheel silently and drove her to school.
She got outof the car and she knew he would go park and shadow her, he was guard in the school and no one else knew that he was really guarding her. So if something happened his first thing would to save her before anyone. In the school she went to her locker first and dropped off books she would not need before lunch. The books she needed she carried in her arms and began to head to her first class.
She turned when she heard DJ's voice and smiled at him. "Hello DJ" she said to him. She moved to the side so they could speak and not hold up the crowd. "My father does like you he told me that he did this morning. I apparently could not find a better american boy to be friends with" she said quoting her father. "I would love to meet her" she said to him honestly. She wondered if her and this Trixie would get along, she hoped so it would be nice to have a female friend to.

Jay was pissed off. Trixie just did not see it. How could she not see that love was nothing but an illusion. Love did not exist. There was no prince charming at the end. No one waiting to sweep you off your feet. Jay was surely no prince charming. How could Jay believe in love and that people truly cared, when the one person he was suppose to trust in the world to show him love and protect him, betrayed him.
Children looked at parents to be role models and how to act. Well Jay would never be like his father. Forget it. Although he was a certified asshole, so perhaps that was just another lie. That was not Jay's point. Jay's point was that despite how good DJ was, he was not right for his sister.
Jay wondered the halls. He stopped at his locker for a bit and exchanged his books. Sure what he was doing could be seen as a really protective older brother, but thats who he was. He could not protect her when they were children, but he sure as hell could protect her now. High school guys could not be trusted. They were cheating assholes. It was a matter of time, and Jay would not see his sister get her heart broken.
Jay made his way through the crowd of people just minding his own business for once. When he looked up. He saw DJ and the hot chick from the day before looking close. She was at his side seeming to be flirting. And at the school. Did they have no shame? Apparently not.
Jay got an evil smirk on his face and walked up. He had his phone ready for a much better picture. "Smile." Jay snapped the picture. He looked at it. "You are just as bad as me DJ...do you even have an ounce of shame....talking to the girl you cheated on my sister with...really....although after looking at her, I really can't blame you...she is..." Jay let his eyes trail over Kalina's body. "But still man...not cool...I knew you could not be trusted.
"I knew I could not trust that nice guy act...no guy is ever too nice."jay looked at the girl. "Now you...you are very hot...so I wont blame you for this, but um...my sister can be a bitch so if I were you I would watch out. My sister does not take betrayal lightly. She is really mean when it comes to that."
Jay sent the text picture to Trixie who received it with in moments. She got the locating cause Jay sent it in the text and made her way over there. Although it was not far. Trixie had been at her locker where DJ had been moments ago and seeing as though their lockers were across the hall, it did not take Trixie long to approach the scene. The girl, Kalina standing next to DJ. A little too close. Trixie had to remember she trusted DJ.
She walked up and saw the girl. She was a looker. She did make Trixie a tad nervous, but this was Trixie fucking Michaels. She ran the school. So there was no girl hotter then her. Especially today. Trixie wore tight black pants with silver boots and a silver top that showed off just why people thought she was sexy. Trixie looped an arm through DJ and held him close. She was being only slightly possessive.
"You must be the girl I keep hearing about. Nice to meet you."

Kalina blinked when the guy took the picture, she had no idea who the guy was that took it. And as he talked she thought he was very rude. And how dare he imply anything between her and DJ. Kalina Dashkova was not that girl. And as her ire rose she stood higher and held her head up. She gave the a cold look and put on the ice princess she could pull off. "I do not appericate your tone with me and what you are implying. I am not that kind of girl" she said her accent a bit heavier, it always did when she was upset at someone. "I would not do that with a man I just met, or a man with a partner as he told me" she said to him. She was not going to be talked to that way at all. "So I would appericate if you would not look at me like that and watch your tone and what you say.And you can not judge me since I do not know you nor do you know me. So please leave me alone" she this stiff and formal.
She saw the girl come up and her move. Kalina knew when a woman was letting another one know the guy was taken. This girl Trixie had nothing to worry about, Kalina was not interested in DJ in that way at all. "Hello Trixie I have heard about you to" she said with a smile. "It is nice to meet you to" she told the girl with a real smile on her face. She moved a bit away from DJ and Trixie since she knew the other girl might of thought they were to close when talking. It was hard not to be close to be heard over so many voices and so many other young people in the hallways. Of course she made sure not to get to close to the other guy, she did not want to be near someone that offended her. And she did not have to near this young man, he was not someone she had to be in the presence of. "I must say you are as pertty as DJ said you were." She of course would not dress that way, it was more club attaire then school attire for her. She would proably not even wear that to a club since silver was a no no unless it was a formal gown. She could tell that her and this Trixie were different in many ways, from the way they dressed she could tell that cleary and the way they acted, she instinctivly knew that she was much more formal and could easily contronl her expressions. It was clearly because that was how Kalina was taught to be. She still would like be to Trixie's friend though.
"You have a nice boyfriend" Kalina said to her. "He was the only one that stopped to help me out in the rain after the shoot. He has showed me there are some nice american boys." With that she shot the rude boy a cold look.

"The hell?" DJ questioned as Jay took the picture. He wanted to rip the phone from Jay's hands but then with Kalina there, it probably wouldn't look the best.
"You go on ahead and tattletale Jay, just dig yourself a nice little grave." DJ teased him. DJ knew that Trixie trusted him, he had stated the truth with her the night before.
"Oh where are my manners? Jay this is Kalina," he said. "Kalina this is Jay or as I call him cactus because he's the biggest prick you'll ever meet." How little DJ knew about a few of the other students at the school.
His frowned face turned upside down as Trixie looped her arm through his. "I was just introducing your brother to Kalina here. She was the one I helped out the other night." He only hoped to god a jealous fight wouldn't break out.
"Kalina this is my girlfriend Trixie." He gave Trixie a kiss on the top of her head. "I'm happy to see my dad didn't give you a scare at dinner last night." He knew the words would go and sting Jay in the rear. "All in all, they liked you."

"Cactus. Is that the best you can do Jolly." Jay said with a mocking smile. He looked at Kalina, ignoring her protest of him looking at her. He did not give a shit. "Jolly here is just jealous cause he wishes he could be me. I have all the luck with lovely ladies such as yourself." Jay said with a smirk. The name for the Jolly Green Giant, which Jay loved to call DJ. The kid really was too humanly tall. Perhaps the guy was an alien or something.
Trixie eyed Kalina as she spoke about DJ and the night before. Her face was still giving away no emotion. Then DJ kissed her forehead and mentioned dinner and introduced Trixie as his girlfriend. After a few seconds of silence Trixie smiled, "Pleasure to meet you too Kalina. DJ told me about you last night. I am glad I picked the right boyfriend then. Nice guys don't finish last like most people say they do. As for your parents I am quite glad I impressed them. Thank you for the compliments Kalina. I must say you are beautiful too." Trixie held her free hand out to Kalina to shake it. Trixie was meaning to be nice.
This girl posed no threat and DJ introduced Trixie as his girlfriend, this caused for Trixie to be nice. besides DJ was around and he always brought out the nice side of Trixie. But if DJ ever left then Trixie just might get bitchy, even to her friends. Just ask Haley Rowan.
However it was not as if Kalina would get to shake her hand seeing as though Jay grabbed it and spun Trixie around. "What the hell is wrong with you Trix? Seriously...are you asking to get your heart broken. You do not go meet the parents after the talk we had. I mean...you seriously that blind. He could be lying right now...." Jay said to his sister.
Trixie removed her hand from Jay's grasp. "I heard your concerns yesterday and I went to DJ's to squash those concerns. As hard as it is for you to believe...and even harder for me to believe DJ's parents like me. Kalina seems nice, and I actually trust DJ. So do me a favor...for once Jay...back off. Please." Trixie was not a beggar. She abhorred begging, but in this case, her voice came out in a begging tone. She was being dead serious, with asking her brother to back off.

Kalina gave this guy Jay she heard this girl call me look her over again and hit on her. She kept up the ice princess facade. "This lovely lady would not even be worthy of you.I dont' see how any girl can like you, after all you are rude and vulgar." She sniffed. "You could not even step foot on our property before my father would have you arrested." She figured now was as a good time as any to let the guy know to back off from saying anything more rude to her. "After all he has has power more then you have in this country" she said. She thought he was extremely rude when he grabbed Trixie and spun her away from them. The conversation could still be heard though and she knew he was the kind of not nice american boy her father warned her about. "He is very rude" she said to DJ. "And you and Trixie look very nice together, that you suit each other that is easy to see" she gave him a smile.
She was glad to hear Trixie thought she was nice. She knew that Jay was her brother from the way he was acting. She felt uncomfortable seeing such a moment between siblings. Back home they did not have arguments in front of people like they do here. She bit her lip and looked down the hallway and back at DJ. "Does he do that often act like a animal?" she asked. She just hoped the animal would leave her alone, if not she would call her father in. And well if the guy ever touched her he would be tackled to the ground by her bodyguard which would be a sight to see. "I am half tempted to ask my bodyguard to step in and stop him, even if she is his sister you never grab a woman" she said.

"No Jay, there's other names for you but I prefer to keep the language clean in front of two lovely ladies." Indicating Trix and Kalina.
Kalina knew how to put Jay in his place. This was very admirable on her half. The idea of Jay being arrested and hauled off to jail brought a sort of sick pleasure to DJ. He could just see Jay cowering in the corner of a shower as Bubba made advances toward him!
Things were going swimmingly until Jay's Mr. Hyde side decide to make an unscheduled yet known appearance. Instinct made DJ put a gentle but firm grip on Trixie's shoulders as Kalina spoke to him.
"Rude is only the tip of the iceberg with him." DJ explained to Kalina as Jay kept rattling on. "He's nothing more than an animal. I hate to admit this but he and I got into a fistfight the other day. I wouldn't have done it normally but I had to defend myself somehow." DJ never did like showing his angry side unless provoked. "I don't think he's going to shut up either, pardon me."
He glared at Jay. "Don't you ever touch Trixie like that again!" His arms moved from her shoulders to her waist holding her close to him.

Trixie eyed DJ, "I got this...." She told him. Trixie looked at Kalina for a brief moment. "My brother does not know social graces. So you will have to ignore him Kalina." She commented. Trixie was glad to have DJ there. Her eyed locked back with Jay's. "Let me do this...on my own. I am a big girl...and sooner or later...I need to make my own mistakes. I don't think DJ would ever hurt me, but if he does, I assure you I know just how to deal with it...but I trust him....and you know how I am when it comes to trust...so I am asking you...please...back off."
For Trixie to trust you was a huge deal. She covered DJ's hand with her own. She did not move just looked right at her brother hoping for once he would listen and back down. Some how DJ wormed his way right into her inner most heart. Now love was out of the question for now. That is too much at the moment. But she seriously liked DJ and being able to trust him made Trixie feel normal for once.
If only Jay could do the same. "Don't you know guys. DJ can be trusted for now...but sooner or later he will be tempted. Sooner her later he will cheat. He could sleep with Kalina or not. But he will cheat....all men are cheaters...and once the cheating starts, then comes the beating. And well you know what follows the beatings." Jay commented in a calm but very angry voice. "All men are alike."
Trixie eyed Jay, "Even you...would you cheat...then follow with beating..."
Now that was a low blow and the hurt on Jay's face was written all over it. "You know I would never.......I will not be like him..."
"But you are....you are being like him. Trying to ruin my relationship.....putting doubts in my head....being cruel and degrading to women when you want to be....its like looking at him only younger. All I am waiting for is the hitting to start."
There was a very long moment of silence. Jay was hurt by her words. How could she think he would hit her. "I am sorry...that was un called for Jay...I was mad and I am sorry I never should have said it....but come on....you can't protect me forever." Trixie knew relating him to dad was a low blow for anyone who had an abusive father.
Trixie held out a hand to Jay who slapped it away. "You really think I am like him. A cheater, abuser, devil worshiper." His voice was full of anger and resentment. "How dare you say those things...you of all people...I have stood by your side while you drink yourself stupid...I helped you when guys tried to do crap with you...I protected you from almost getting killed...and you have the gall to say I am like him..." Jay shook his head.
"Look I am sorry, but the way you are talking to me, DJ and Kalina is wrong. The way you keep trying to pick a fight with DJ is wrong...its only a matter of time before even DJ gets fed up with you trying to stop us from being together...I have a good thing here, for once. I actually have a good guy....I wont let you take that from me..."
Jay snorted. "You think I will be the one to ruin this...no..that's all you.....the alcoholic, slutty, little girl will ruin it...the one who takes pride in degrading herself for me...no one those guys in the past tried things with you....you were asking for it....you always ask to get hurt.....All the way back to childhood...you asked for it...."
He could cut her with words the way she had just done. Although his was an even lower blow.....cause his words shook Trixie to the core. Both mentally and physically cause Trixie was shaking in DJ's arms.

Trixie was doing well standing up to Jay. Maybe it was because she knew there were at least two people supporting her and one of them had his massive arms around her. Her hands felt soft and warm against his. Although she was strong in argument, something was telling DJ that wouldn't back away.
And he didn't.
He started to generalize all guys in the same catergory. "No Jay, not all guys strive to be just like you. I love Trixie and nothing can change that." He had to put his two cents in. He had no idea how ugly things were going to turn suddenly.
DJ pulled Trixie closer as Jay slapped her hand. Jay had it coming to him but for now DJ's concern was Trixie. He didn't believe the bile that was flowing from Jay's mouth about Trixie but then DJ only knew about the family past not about her past. "It's okay babe, I have you." He whispered to her.
DJ looked at Kalina. "I am so sorry you had to see that," there was no amount of apology that could make up for what happened. "I think I should have some alone time with Trix." He hated to send her away but this was no time to have company around. He moved his left hand to Kalina's arm. "I hope you understand, but call me later please?"
