Candlelit dinner Seriously (Tag Jere.)

Jade had organised a dinner at one of the local restaurants, that were frequented by celebrities, where privacy was the key to everything and no one hounded you for being you. Jade had organised everything down to the taxi, it was discreet and not likely to set Jeremy's father off, he could go nuts about the choice of dinning place. He'd changed into slacks and shirt, his idea of semi formal without the suit jacket.

Ringing the door bell to the house he stood back and waited, the door was answered.

"Jade good evening, Jere." the man called up the stairs. "Come in and wait." he added.

"We won't be long." Jade called down to the taxi driver as he stepped over the threshold, not concerned to much about the cost of having a taxi wait for them. Jade was shown into the living room and made himself comfortable on the sofa. He'd been in here a couple of times before but never really taken it all in, the fact that his boyfriend and he were getting serious kind of indicated to him that he should get more knowledge about the family. He'd been quite serious earlier in the day, this was the boy he wanted to spend the rest off his life with. What he wanted he usually got, but it went deeper than that, what ever he and Mike had was nothing in comparison to what he felt for Jeremy.

"Damn when did I fall for you so hard." Jade said ruefully a huge smile on his lips.

"I think it happened at the supermarket the morning of the campout." Jeremy said coming down the stairs dressed in a short sleeved crimson red button down shirt, charcoal gray pants and his black slip on shoes.

He sat next to Jade on the couch and put his arm around him. "I knew you were coming over, I just didn't know how quickly you'd be here." He moved in to kiss Jade, when it dawned on that his father was still there. "Umm dad could we get a little privacy please?" Jere semi asked/said.

"Of course, of course! Just don't be out too late, school tomorrow. Oh and we will be at the fundraiser tomorrow night." the elder Warner said before disappearing into his study.

Jeremy smiled. "Now we are alone." He moved in closer. "And to do something before I burst." He kissed Jade deeply and passionately. He broke the kiss off gently a brief time later. "Now I feel better."

"Wait a sec, you didn't drive over here did you? Am I going to have to confiscate your car keys till your healed? Because I really wouldn't mind!"

Jade nodded at Jeremy's father, "I'll have yours and your wives name added to the adult guest list, that ensure if you want something other thank fizzy drink or coffee you can." Jade said to him. "Their will be food and stuff there, so not just the auction and the party is for everyone, though if I had to hazard a guess most of the adults won't be going into it." Jade added.

Jade gave him a grin, "No but standing here is probably costing me a fair bit of money, theirs a taxi outside waiting for us. You dressed correctly, smart but not to smart." Jade said to him kissing him back. "I learned that lesson last time I tried to drive myself, I dont want that kind of pain again." Jade said to him with a grin on his face. "So taxi because I thought the limo might be a little to much." Jade added with a grin on his face. "Aren't you glad that you are dating someone who stands to inherit the family billions." Jade said to him. "I had this plan wait until the parents die, then lock the brother and sister up in the dungeon I plan on building just for that particular situation." Jade said smiling. "You think that would work, or is it maybe just a little OTT, just a little though, its not way over the top I think." Jade added.

Jade took Jeremy's hand in his, "Do you have everything you need?" Jade asked him, "If so we can get out of here right now, and fill our stomachs with good food." he said to her. "You didn't eat right, because that would be a waste of tonight." Jade added.

"There'll be a few parents there, mainly support for each other." Jeremy told Jade. "Just like when there was the earthquake then the fire. If there's a tragedy somewhere, the grown ups come on out for each other." It was a scenario all too familiar to Jeremy.

"I don't want to be responsible for the cab fare, let's go." Enjoying the feel of his boyfriend's lips against his own. "Okay, just making sure, I'd hate to have to disipline you for some wrong doing." He teased. "A taxi is nice though, certainly beats taking the bus everywhere." Which was the truth and big time. He laughed as Jade unfurled his plan. "Its a bit over the top and melodramatic but I like it. I can't blame you though, I wanted to flush Julia down the toilet when we were three so there would be only one kid in the house, as you can see I wasn't successful at it." The things kids do!

"I had a small snack early this afternoon but I'm starved now." Jade's words gave him a small jolt. "Oh there are a couple things I almost forget." Jeremy reached under the couch and pulled out a nicely wrapped package, which contained a photo album with their pics from the Disney trip. "This is to be opened during dinner tonight and this," he pulled an envelop from his pocket. "Is from the higher ups at Disney, its four lifetime passes all paid for, to be auctioned off." There was a slight pink to his cheeks. "I thought it was the least I could contribute."

Jade grinned at him, "This is very sweet of you but your presence was enough for me. Its always enough for me, but these are going to help us raise quite a bit of money tomorrow night. Well okay I hope we will raise a heap load of money for the school and the victims, then I want a vacation... somewhere cold or the holiday house in Sydney for easter break or something... wouldn't take much to get done either... but thats a long way of." Jade explained. "My parents are always disappearing of to god knows where, I think after this week I will have earned a break from the day to day running of pet projects they've organised and left me to run." Jade added.

He lead the way to the taxi a few minutes later, "We are good to go." Jade said to the driver finally, not bothering to check the pay metre in the cab. This evening was going to be as close to perfect as it could possibly be, no one or thing would spoil their evening out. "I booked us a private table for two, just pick what you fancy eating... let me worry about everything else." Jade told him. "I have to get you back at a respectable time, that way your father won't keep you away from the party tomorrow night." Jade told him grinning.

"I just have one thing to ask, is their anything that would make tonight better for you?" Jade asked him. "Can I or we do something that would make you more comfortable?" Jade expanded on his original question.

"Call me selfish but I also wanted to impress the family you have coming in. I don't want them to think I'm a mooch or doing anything that would soil the family name." He knew Jade didn't feel that way but there was no telling what others would think. "A vacation sounds great, even though it would fall right during the busy season for me at work." It may have seemed mushy and lovey dovey to others but being apart that long from Jade broke Jeremy's heart.

Jeremy sighed but smiled. "You are spoiling me again, and I could get so used to this!" Jere's mouth about dropped when he saw the restaurant. This was high end, the most talked about and the place to be seen!

"How did...you did..." A few words stammered from Jere's mouth. His grip on Jade's hand tightened slightly. "Never in my lifetime did I think I would ever be here."

As the two were shown to their private table, Jere glanced around, wondering if spot any big time celeb. It was Jade's voice that snapped him back to earth. "I'd love it if you'd spend one more night with me."

Jade smiled at him, "Well I'm sure we can work something out at some point about getting away, maybe us and some friends... but thats some way of. This summer for instance, maybe I can get away from the summer retreat we usually go on... but thats months away." Jade said with a smile. "We'll work something out, closer to the time." Jade said to him.

"The how is easy, I called and asked for reservations I had to use my fathers name to make it happen, but once I dropped his name into the fray it was pretty easy to get reservations. I tell you the waiting list for people wanting to eat here is horrific, if you don't know someone that is." Jade explained. "Alex and I had our birthday meal here not to long ago, I can promise you that the food is as good and as big as the reputation. Just one rule really and that is you can't go asking people for autographs in this place regardless of who you are." Jade said to him with a smile. "Which is a bummer really or you'd have half of hollywood I'm sure." Jade said as they approached the guy on the door. "Table for two, under the name Edwards." Jade said the man nodded.

"Right this way sir." the man said a few moments later.

"See easy, what do you say to once we are done here you come spend the night at the house, I actually do have to get back to the house tonight. I have to organize pick up for my cousins tomorrow... which means someone on the staff is likely going to be playing chaffeur." Jade explained to him. "Its a shame that no one in the house has a car that even closely resembles sensible for family purposes." Jade added shaking his head. "I guess at least one of us in the house at some point is going to need to have one... but thats an argument for another time." he said. "Tonight fine dinning, and like I said do not concern yourself with price tags on the meals... pick what you want." Jade said to him.
