Sari left Duke's about an hour after they.....god she could still not believe she and Duke had sex. It was unbelievable. Sari was not sure how to feel after it. Yes, Duke promised their friendship would not be in trouble. She hoped so. Cause Sari was not sure she could do the whole dating thing. It was just too much sometimes.
To be stuck to one guy and worry about the guy seeing her flirt with other guys...or even girls. Either way it was just weird, to be honest. This was Duke. A guy she had known for years and some how the dream, and then waking up to his his little friend came out to play, just kind of too things to another level. One thing was for sure. No dream compared to the real thing. Sari finally left. She skipped church as usual and got home to an empty house. She expected to have the rest of the day off. Now she could relax, take a bubble bath and just be lazy. She was wiped after the morning fun anyway. Either way, Duke or not, Sari had a smile on her face. It had been a very good morning. The hours ticked by. Morning became afternoon and soon afternoon became the evening. Sari checked her phone. She was almost a tad disappointed Tyler actually listened to her. But it was a good thing. She meant it when she canceled. Tyler had so many girls attached to him, that she did not care to deal with the back lash that it would bring. Whether, it was Maggy, Bree, Sloane, Sandy, or some other of Tyler's conquest, Sari did not care to deal with the petty snide remarks and the jealousy that would come from it. Assuming the girls were catty ones, which she hoped they were not. If Sloane is any indication, then one could hope. Cause Sloane actually seemed kind of cool, despite the blow up at brunch. Besides Sari still would never say yes to a guy like Tyler. No way in hell. Sari took a nice hot bubble bath in the afternoon, and got dressed in a black mini skirt, that tugged her hips tightly and showed the tips of her tattoos, and she wore a blue tank top. The way the shirt fit, was the straps had to be tied together, so the shirt was easy to get off. All someone had to do was untie the straps, but she did have on a strapless black lacy bra to match her underwear. It was only the afternoon and she was not ready for her pj's yet. So Sari stayed dressed like that into the evening. She was sitting down watching TV when the doorbell rang. Now this was interesting cause no one else was home. For a brief moment she wondered if it was Duke, but she knew he would have called. So Sari got up softly. She did not want to make noise in case she did not want to answer the door. Sari made it to the door and looked out the peep hole to see none other then Tyler Durnham on the other side. Damn it. He does not give up. Which actually made Sari smile a bit. She opened the door and leaned against the frame. "I don't remember ordering an escort." Sari said in a sarcastic tone.

His day had been rather interesting so far, and Tyler was hopeful that his night would improve on things further. Not that Sarissa had given him even the slightest indication that this would be the case, she seemed intent on saying no to him, over and over again, no matter what he did or said. He was hoping his plans for the night would help her to change her mind. She couldn’t resist him forever, especially when he knew she really didn’t want to. He didn’t need their previous intense cafeteria make out session to tell him that.
So, he was very much hoping to end the day with another lover under his belt, so to speak. He already gained a sort of cause (getting Melodee to eat something, at least. Bone thin really wasn’t appealing), a half sister and possibly a family dog all in the space of one day. All in all, he supposed he had been very productive. Now he was looking forward to his date with the beautiful girl, and giving himself a well deserved break.
The occasion, what he had planned, called for a certain casualness, so he reflected this in his clothes, even though he would have much preferred to dress up as opposed to the jeans and t-shirt he was currently wearing. Oh well, the things he did for the fairer sex. Pulling up outside her house, Tyler rung the doorbell, wondering if she had any idea just how persistent he was, any inkling that he wouldn’t consider their plans cancelled.
“Well, if that’s what you would prefer, I can change our plans easily and spend the afternoon in with you.” Tyler offered, a grin on his face, as he spent his time looking Sarissa over. If she really was as surprised to see him as she seemed, the girl must have had a habit of looking hot when she laid around the house. Lucky him.
“You look beautiful Sari, though, I’m used to that with you. Are you ready for our date? Or would you like me to give you a few moments, I can wait in the car if you like. I think you’ll quite enjoy what I have in store for you.”

"You are a bold man Mr. Durnham. I could have sworn I canceled said plans." Sari looked Tyler over very slowly, then looked at her own outfit. "I take it, by the way you are so casually dressed, that I am fine with the clothes I have on. Thanks for the compliment. You look good when you dress down." Her words were meant as a dig and a compliment. Tyler looked good no matter what he wore, but she was not use to seeing him in what she would like to call plain clothes.
"Since you did drive all this way, I guess I could use an escort for the evening. You will do." She smirked as she reached next to her to grab her purse and her keys. She walked out of the house and closed the door, locking it behind her. "So just where are we off to?" She was very intrigued as to just what Tyler had planned.
"I should have known canceling would never work. You defiantly have one big ego. What if I had refused to go out with you?" She wondered just how persistent Tyler was. This was a lot of work to go through just to get in her pants. But the work was not what Sari was after. She could care less how hard or easy it was. Her point was Tyler's ego in thinking he could bed any woman around.
Sari was just proving a point, that he was not god's gift to women. But she was bored and would never turn down a date or a chance to have fun. No doubt what ever Tyler had in mind it would prove to be fun or interesting to say the least.

“More than fine.” Tyler grinned, fully intending for his words to be as cheesy as they sounded as he looked her over once more. A woman as beautiful was Sarissa was deserved to know that such beauty was greatly appreciated after all, and he was more than happy to be the one doing the appreciating. He knew he looked good, he didn’t need the woman to tell him that, though he did enjoy the compliment. “Yes, well, I considered a suit, but I thought that would be far too overdressed for our plans.”
“I’ll do? Why, thanks Sari, that has to be one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me.” he teased. “I wouldn’t say it’s so much of an issue of ego as one of confidence. And I admit, I don’t have a shortage of that. Let’s see, well, if you had refused to go out with me, I would have offered to stay in with you instead. And if that failed, I would have gotten rather comfortable standing outside your door until you changed your mind. You should know by now Sari, I’m a very persistent and stubborn man, especially when it comes to something I want.”
Opening the passenger side door for Sari, he waited patiently like the gentleman he was raised to be. He then closed the door, whistling softly as he walked around the car to take his own seat. “Well, I thought perhaps it might be nice to do something different for a change. Something I can’t actually remember doing.” he laughed. “Relax, nothing suss, I assure you.” Tyler smirked. “But I think you might actually enjoy this surprise.” Though Bree had been well on her way to drunk when she had given him advice for tonight, some of it, with a bit of tweaking, was actually rather good. “Tell me Sari, have you ever been to the Planetarium? I didn’t even realise we had one till recently.”

"Standing on my door step until I said yes. You are persistent, especially since it is raining out. Just be lucky I feel bad cause of the weather and decided to go with you anyway." She put her seat belt on and waited to find out where they were going.
She was pleasantly surprised. The planetarium. really? Now that was an interesting change of events. "Now who are you and what have you done with Tyler? Cause I never would have pictured you wanting to go there." Then it was explained when Tyler confessed to just recently finding out, "How recently?" She asked with a cute flirtatious smile. "Well I can promise you one thing. Despite the fact you are taking me some where I never expected, you will still be left with the one thing you want, but are not getting." She just wanted to see his reaction really. her words were meant to being a verbal battle of wits.
One she knew Tyler could match her on. So even if she meant her words, the date was far from over, yet she wanted to throw the challenge down and see how Tyler would rise...or fall. She was really shocked and really glad about this date. The Planetarium. Sari remembered going there as a kid.
Of course it was no Indian reservation. Rather Apache reservations. Which reminded her she needed to go back for a visit, but no one knew about her deep like of Native American culture. Of course except maybe two people. Plus if anyone saw her tattoos and asked about them then they would know, but Tyler had yet to get that far.
"I think you will enjoy the planetarium. I love the place. Maybe a tad boring, but....i doubt you will be very bored with me around." Sari said with a wink.

“A couple of nights ago actually.” Tyler cheerily admitted, “When I was planning tonight’s...festivities.” It wouldn’t hurt for the woman to know that he had put some prior thought into their date, that he had considered her beforehand. Women, especially those like Sari, enjoyed knowing that men thought about them, and when it was a man like Tyler, all the better. “Well, you’re not completely far off.” he confessed with a wry grin. “I can’t say it’s a place I would normally like to spend my Sundays, by this is a special occasion after all, and this isn’t just an ordinary day out at the planetarium. I had to have something special in store for you after all.”
Laughing at her comment, Tyler shook his head in slight disagreement. This was starting to become an issue of pride now, whereas before it had primarily been just a bit of fun. Of course that was still the main element, you couldn’t go out with Sari and not enjoy yourself. The woman was very pleasing on the eye, had a sharp wit, and a stubborn streak that he found appealing, even if it did result in her resisting him longer than he would have preferred. But he had to make her give in eventually, that was where the pride came into play, they were obviously interested in each other, so the resistance was unexplainable to him. He was sure though, that by the end of the night, he wouldn’t have this issue any more. “You sound rather confident about that too.” he smiled. “Well, you never know, in my surprising you, you just might surprise me.”
“I doubt anyone could be bored with you around.” Tyler agreed as he pulled into the place in question. He opened Sari’s door before moving to the boot, saying nothing as he pulled out a couple of items. It quickly became obvious as he pulled away, closing the boot with one hand as he held a basket, that it was a picnic he had in mind. He thought something so unexpected, something she thought was quite unlike him, something that was, dare he say it, romantic, might be just what he needed to convince Sari that he was well worth her time. It was something he hadn’t tried yet anyway. “Well, shall we head in?”
Taking her hand, he led her inside, straight towards a doorway to the right where it seemed someone was already waiting for them. Tyler pulled away to quietly address the man, a quick and smooth exchange of notes being pressed into the planetarium’s employee’s hand. He then took Sari’s hand once more, leading her inside the room, the door closing behind them and the stars shining above. “I asked if they could close off this area, so I could have you all to myself.” he smiled, leading her to a blanket already draped on the floor, candles scattered around. Helping her down, he did the same, grabbing the bottle of champagne out of the ice bucket, pouring them both a glass. “Shall I propose a toast, to us?”

"Who said I was the boring one...I was implying you might cause me to get a tad sleepy." Words with double meaning was Sari specialty. A man like Tyler should pick up on the other meaning of just why he might make her sleepy. Assuming he was as much of an experienced guy as he claimed to be. Sari had heard the rumors, but it could be all talk. Only one way to find out and Sari had yet to go there.
She took his hand as she watched where they went. An entrance she had never entered through before. Okay, this was getting more interesting. Sari could not help but smile as Tyler led her inside. She saw the basket in his hands, but was unsure where they would take it. Not until she saw the inside of the room where they were surrounded by stars and the night sky. It was the constellation room. The inside with the blanket and the candles it would be like being under the moon and stars.
"Well I'll be damned...I might actually be speechless." Sari walked around and over to the blanket. Her eyed met Tyler, "I am impressed. Yes, lets toast. To a rather pleasant evening. You just might have what it takes Durnham." This took time, dedication, planning. It might be a tad showy, but most importantly it was romantic and really rather simple given what a man of Tyler's power could really do.
Sari took the glass of champagne and sat down on the blanket Indian style so he could not see up her skirt, to the lacey black underwear. Perhaps she should have worn a top that was not so easy to get off. "What else is in the basket?" Sari asked curiously, "But first this whole thing deserves a little practice." She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his....in a searing kiss.

“I’m pleased to hear that.” Tyler mused, cocking his head. He was hoping that the evening would be more than pleasant, it was why he had gone to so much effort to ensure absolute privacy after all, but pleasant was a good start. He could work with pleasant. And she was impressed too, he knew from experience that it wasn’t always easy to impress Sari. He would have to remember to thank Bree when he got the chance, for getting the idea for tonight into his head.
He stretched his legs out in front of him as she sat, idly taking a sip from his glass. He watched just how she sat, a little amused. She seemed to be deliberately trying to keep herself closed off. She wouldn’t keep that up too much longer, he was sure. Not if he had any say in it. And unknown to both of them, his thoughts were similar to hers, though he was grateful for just how flimsy the top Sari wore seemed.
Before he could let his thoughts wander too much on him, Tyler felt her soft, familiar lips on his, and he responded quickly, his free hand moving around her waist, pushing lightly on her back in an attempt to pull her closer to him. He moaned just a little, she tasted even better than the champagne, returning her kiss slowly, almost lazily. It felt like a lazy sort of afternoon, one he would enjoy spending with Sari, and he knew he had no plans to leave for a long time. Things would only get better yet.
“Remind me to surprise you more often.” he murmured as she pulled away, a smile ghosting over his lips. “Well, it’s a bit past lunch, I know, but you can’t really have a picnic without food. So...” he smiled, his hand moving from her to open the basket, “I thought I would stick to the old classics, strawberries and cream.” He laid out the items besides them before grabbing the last item out, placing it alongside the fruit. Chocolate truffles, very, very expensive chocolate truffles. He couldn’t help himself.
“So, am I winning you over yet? Are you glad you decided to come out today with me? I know I am.” he grinned, letting his fingers brush softly over her knee.

Sari had to hand it to Tyler. He sure knew how to plan a date. She was happy and very glad she came out on the date. "I won't lie, this is different then I expected. I was expecting wining and dining. Which you did, but you did it in style with a splash of romance. I am defiantly glad I came out with you." She told him honestly. "I never knew you had it in you." She finished her champagne.
"First I have to know something. Just to satisfy my own curiosity in case you do eventually get what you want from me...which is a big IN CASE." Her smile gave away that it might not be as big as he thinks. "How can you be in an open relationship and be with other women...I mean...you are dating...Maggy, right?" Sari had her sources.
"Yes you are taking me out on a date...and I am sure you have taken other women out on dates...so whats the point of the open relationship...if you are just gonna take other women out on dates...sounds like you have quite a few open relationships....why even have the one...can't you keep taking her out without calling it open..." He questions came out not vicious, but in a soft and curious tone. She was just wondering what was the point of being in this open relationship. The word relationship implied in Sari's mind that someone could get hurt.
She did not want to be the one to hurt that person. Sari never went for guys in relationships. She just did not like being that other women, but an open relationship was something she never dealt with, "Like I said I am just curious. I mean....I am half glad you are in one,but also kind of scared." Sari was just curious how that worked...how could he take her out, and other women out and still claim to be 'openly dating someone' Unless this was not a date, but just a way to get in her pants. Which by the looks of it...just might be the case.
Which begged the question, If Sari gave in, then what? Did she never talk to Tyler again. It was kind of hard not to see him since they want to the same school, where in the same grade and on the debate team. Did she never lay eyes on him or kiss him? Was it a one time deal?

“Well, I admit, that was my aim in this all, I like taking people by surprise. Letting them know that can’t judge me all too easily. Beause I know, it’s pretty easy to judge me by common stereotypes. Jock, rich, popular, womanising. It’s understandable.” he laughed, making it clear he wasn’t at all offended by those who just saw him in those terms. It did sum him up roughly, until you got to know him further. And then Tyler liked to believed, he was much more than just those things. Though he was a womaniser, through and through. He didn’t care who knew that, it just made it easier to deal with women after all, so they knew what they were getting into with him. “And I’m very glad for your company Sari.”
“Get what I want from you? Why, what makes you think that your company is more than enough for me?” he teased lightly, letting his eyes roam over her to let her know that in fact wasn’t the case. They both knew anyway exactly what Tyler wanted, and unless he was very much mistaken, Sari wanted the same thing. He could take his time a little longer with her.
Tyler kept a straight face as she asked her questions. He thought it understandable that those were things she wanted to know, but still, he was a little surprised that she chose now as the time to ask them. Perhaps she did want to get that all out of the way with, so they could get to what they both really wanted. At least, he could be hopeful.
“Well, I wouldn’t deem it as exactly dating, but yes, I am seeing Maggy on a casual basis.” Tyler confessed freely, smiling just a little at this. “And yes, I’ve been continuing to see other women, yourself included. I can see why it seems a bit...confusing to you.” he laughed lightly. “Let me see if I can try to explain. I like Maggy, obviously I would or I wouldn’t be seeing her in the first place. And she has a similar affection for me. And while that would normally mean that we would seek an exclusive relationship, well, you know my reputation just as well as anyone Sari. I would struggle to see just the one woman.”
He continued with this, not wanting to paint himself as too bad. “I think, if I tried to commit to a relationship, I would only end up straying. And like I said, I care about Maggy, I wouldn’t want to hurt her like that. But I would also prefer to still see her. In fact, she made it easier on me in the first place. She was the one who suggested we keep things causal between us.” Tyler smiled, stretching slightly. “That way, we can still enjoy each other’s company, enjoy the company of others, and with no risk of hurting the other. It works out well, for both of us.”
He leaned over to refill Sari’s glass to the brim, his fingers brushing lightly over hers as he held the hand in which she held the glass to steady it. “I hope that satisfies your curiosity. Now, if you don’t mind satisfying mine. What does that kinda scare you?” he asked, borrowing her term. Opening up the container of strawberries, he pushed it towards her. “Does what I do, who I date, bother you?”
