Dare always checked his phone often, not wanting to miss his father. The faint frown he had been wearing all day changed to a slight smile when he saw the text from Mike and he found a seat so he could answer in privacy.
'Sorry you can't come. Evan is bouncing and some of the kids came in costume. It's going to be wild I think, but I would love to hang tonight. Where and when? You're welcome at my place or I can come to you, whichever is more convenient for you.
