His mother had been complaining all morning about the luncheon that they were putting on, demanding that he be present, he had a sneaking suspicion this was to introduce the new man in her life to her kids. He didn't know this of course for certain, but it would be certainly her norm to spring this on them. Maybe it was just about her getting the family together he didn't know for sure, he just didn't care to sit through another one of those luncheons with all the ladies from his mothers group asking damnable questions.
So he had snuck out, well snuck out as best you could with a loud car, while his mother lectured his brother and sister on etiqutte and how to behave while the luncheon was going on. Like they didn't know the routine already, they had been through enough of them. Their mother assumed that because it was raining none of them would have anything to do this afternoon.
He'd parked up in front of his favourit gym, it double over as a place he used for kick boxing training when he had the time, this afternoon was more about just working out in the main gym. He didn't have a session planned so pushing some weights worked for him. He was currently shirtless and working on the bench press, watching some hot dude in the mirror who was currently behind him somewhere but facing the mirror.
This was the best place to watch hot people and get even more confused about everything going on in his life.
Tag any one.

Xavier had been working up a storm in the gym. This was part of his weekend ritual, workout during the weekend and really lay it on heavy on the weekend.
He had finished doing leg curls and it was time to give the legs a rest. He studied himself in a mirror wondering what to do next. Abs? Arms? Chest? Still he couldn't help but to admire himself in the mirror. He knew he looked good. He flexed a couple of times just to see the biceps move a bit.
As he admired himself, he noticed another guy looking at him. His brow furrowed slightly at the very thought of being cruised by another guy. That wasn't kosher with him but it was better to ignore him for now instead of making a scene.
He went to the butterfly press, which was good for both the chest and arms. He began his reps, still noticing the guy looking at him. This had gone from bothersome to annoyance. He stopped the reps, toweled the sweat from his brow and started towards the guy like a man with a mission.
"Am I giving you enough to look at?" He snapped at the guy. "How about taking a picture it'll last longer."

Braedan broke his eyes away from the mirror in front of him to look at the boy he had been looking at in the mirror an amused look on his face. "You know that technically to stare at someone, you have to actually be able to make eye contact with them right, and by that I mean direct eye contact. Kind of like what your unsuccessfully trying to do right now, in your attempts to intimidate me." Braedan said to the boy smirking he had seen the boy around school, but had no clue what kind of reputation the guy had... he found himself not caring what reputation the boy had.
The fact that he had been caught looking at someone else in the mirror, didn't show in his face, there was no shock in his attitude, neither was their denial for that matter. Braedan sat up grabbing his towel and wiping his brow before taking a gulp of water.
"I get why your upset though, I mean if I looked like that I would be to." Braedan said hiding the fact that he liked the look of the guy with his own version of I really don't like you even if its clear I actually do. He was ready for what ever the boy had to throw at him and ready to deny until he was blue in the face that he was remotely interested in guys. If that meant that he had to beat the crap out of this guy or get the crap beaten out of him then so be it.

Xavier was not amused.
His blue eyes flashed at the kids' cockiness. "I see, so I just happened to be in your line of site." He smirked. "Nuh-uh, not buying it since I went from one machine to another which were on different sides of the gym. Better try another line there pal." The idea that another guy was checking him out disgusted Xavier to no end! Imagine the audacity of that!
Xavier was trying to size the guy up, he might have more muscle but was he taller? This would be a tough judgment.
Xavier's expression turned sour at the kids' comment. "Dude, that totally crossed the line." He stood tall, chest puffed out slightly as if he were looking for a fight. "Now, I could kick your ass right here and now but I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself." He wanted to draw this out as long as he could, he wanted to see if he could make this kid sweat it out. "I'll give you two minutes to apologize for what you said and everything will be forgotten." He looked at the clock on the wall. "Your time starts now."

Braedan laughed at him, "Apologise to you seriously, you want me to apologise to you." Braedan said to him. "Dude your like the person who thinks the whole world evolves around you, which is okay if your a narcasistic moron who has the IQ of the average PE teacher. I'm not going to apologise to you just so you know." Braedan said as he got to his feet he had a couple of inches on the guy but he didn't know what kind of training the guy had which would make a fight a little interesting and a challenge for him.
"If you want to kick my ass take your best shot, but if you don't make the first one count your going to the ER that much I promise. So the question is can you knock me out with one punch, more to the point can you connect with that punch." Braedan said to him, he was sure of his abilities to hurt the guy and he noticed that people were moving away from them. Braedan was a violent person by nature, but that didn't mean he couldn't look after himself, he was a boxer for the school team and kick boxed out side school. He knew if he didn't want to do serious damage to himself or this other guy.
"So the choice is yours walk away and possibly keep some dignity, or fight and possibly lose your dignity. Thats assuming of course you have any dignity to lose in the first place. I'm guessing you don't." Braedan added. "Balls in your court dude." Braedan added as he tensed his body for the attack the fool would send his way.

"Two half naked, muscular men... and all this talk of asses?"
A dry, sarcastic voice shot out from the corner of the room, quickly followed by the arrival of a tall, very well toned young man dressed in a loose fitting pair of cotton kickboxing pants and a black t-shirt emblazoned with the seal of Frank Shamrock's Martial Arts Academy.
"If I didn't know any better, that sets the scene for a very interesting situation.."
The tension in the air was so thick, it could be cut with a spoon, the sort of situation Raphael D'Aubert thrived in. As a champion kickboxer back in France, he had been exposed to combat sports and martial arts at an early age (shortly after leaving the Rose Garden) and positively excelled at the sheer physicality and violence of these activities. At the age of seventeen, he had secured the National Savate Championships in a vicious tournament, and had quite a bit of experience on the street as well.
Since moving to Los Angeles, he had started training at the legendary Frank Shamrock's (a legend in the sport of mixed martial arts) Martial Arts Academy as well as began boxing for Gould.. He had also received his Judo blue belt under a Jean Fitch Pierre, making him quite a force to be reckoned with in or out of a competative setting.
"Now... I know I'm not nearly as 'large' as you gentlemen..." quipped Raphael, smirking at the testosterone-jacked individuals standing before him. "But... I assure you, I can stand and bang with the both of you.."
"Since violence seems inevitable... What do you say we make this a bit more interesting.. and technical.. I've got a few pairs of gloves back at the locker room and we can settle whatever arguement the two of you have in a.. manly manner..."
"Unless, of course, the two of you would rather talk about asses all day.."

Braedan looked at the new guy then looked at Xavier weighing up the options available to him, "You know his right, this going to end with one of us on the floor bleeding probably. And I don't seem to care about that to much, your a punk and I don't punks, I sure as hell don't like bullies. So you want to do this then lets do it." Braedan said to him. "Ass his used to being an ass, its a self defence mechanism, his not able to understand himself so he projects his anger on other people." Braedan added wth a smirk on his face.
"What do you say bar room brawl or in the ring like a couple of civilised people would... I know thats a new concept for you child but try to get it through that incredibly dense skull of yours." Braedan asked standing back and waiting for the boy to move... tapping his foot inpatiently. He wanted this gut to hit him, he wanted the guy to hit him or try to hit him so he could retaliate to the boy and humiliate him somewhat... he knew their was a chance this guy could hurt him, but at the end of the day if you didnt take a risk in life... your life was going to be pretty dole.
His mother would seriously freak out if he came back battered and bruised, he wasn't scheduled to fight in competition this weekend so she'd know that he was in a brawl with someone else. That was at the back of his mind though, this guy could do some serious damage to his reputation and reveal something about him he was in no position to reveal at this moment in time.

Xavier narrowed his eyes at the new comer. What he said made sense though. "Yeah what ever works to put The Flesh in his corner."
His eyes quickly darted back to Braedan. "Listen pal, it takes an ass to reconigize another ass." He wanted to just deck the kid right then and there, at least until he stood. Xavier didn't want to show he felt slightly intimidated by the kids' height. "You know, you're just lucky that your tall, thats all I'm saying."
"New concept? For your information, I have been the Golden Gloves boxing champ three years in a row. Not that I would expect that tiny head of yours to wrap around that fact." He clenched his fists ready to take him out right then and there. "After all you seem to be all brawn and no brain."
A bar brawl really wasn't in Xavier's cards for that day, hell neither was taking someone on but it was happening. "Since I see a brawl as nothing more than cavemen fighting for the alpha position, I saw we head to the ring and do this like real men."
He looked at Raphael, "Lead on MacDuff."

Braedan laughed at him, "Boxing champ three years running, now with most people that would probably scare the living bejebes out of them." Braedan told the boy. "Me I don't really have the boxing pedigree you do, not in that sense anyway, I mean sure I'm on the boxing team for the school. But its really a side show to what I really enjoy doing." Braedan said to him his concern rising a little as he evaluated the new prospect. "I like to kick the hell out of most people, literally and using my fists and elbows the rest of the time. You may box I dual discipline in boxing and kickboxing and I've been doing it a little while. So I'd still say its even odds that your end up on your ass, where people like you belong... Americans and their hill billy attitudes, people like you will never learn." Braedan said to him mouth twitching as a smirk thought to escape him. He would not let this guys attitude influence his own, this boy wanted a fight he'd get one. If he was going to lose to this guy it would not be for a lack of trying that was for sure.
"Are you going to ref this fight or is it just going to be until one is left standing?" Braedan asked the other boy with a grin on his face. "Lets see whether the hilly billy as some sense or is like Sly Stallone in the rocky movies, just doesn't know when to stay down and admit that just because your American does not mean your invincible." Braedan told him.

Raphael couldn't help but grin at the flames of conflict, pleased to see that violence would in fact break out between these two colossal slabs of meat. The fact that both individuals talked so much about each other's fighting credentials speaked volumes about both of their intelligence and their egos..
Any true warrior worth half his salt wouldn't brag... regardless of their skill level..
He kept silent on the matter of his own capabilities, instead leading the two boys to the base of a large boxing ring positioned in the center of the training room. Two lightweight MMA gloves, hastily yanked from Raphael's own gym bag, were thrown at each of the prospective fighters..
These were lightweight five ounce gloves with barely any padding on the knuckles, usually used for light contact grappling/training at Shamrock's Academy..
"I'm sure the both of you can work out your issues together in that ring.." quipped the young man, grinning widely at their shocked expressions. "You gentlemen can pick your poison and fight in whatever style suits you.. Hell, I'm not picky.."
There'd be very little room for error with five ounce gloves, as a solid hit would be more than capable of doing serious damage to either one's handsome face.
