Dare knew he was really early for the auction, but he was donating not bidding. At the gate he asked where he would go to take a donation and he was directed to the back door. Tony drove around where he was directed and walked with Dare to the door carrying the case. Ringing the doorbell, they waited. The guitar was a replica of Jimi Hendrix's favorite handpainted Montery Fender made by the same artist that had painted Jimi's www.kosmic-dogs.co.uk/pix/monterey-front.jpg[\img]The original had been burned by Jimi at the Montery festical in June of 1967. It had been hanging on the studio wall for almost ten years and Maddog had mad the decision it would be better off used for a good cause. Pamelina H. the artist had only made 210 copies and she had verified this one authentic and given them a certificate with her signature. He had never met either of the Edward twins, though he admired that they were involved with this. Tony held an umbrella over Dare and the guitar while they waited as the household seemed quite busy.

She had been moping too much, Lexi knew that. And when Pippi Longstockings and their parents told her about the Edwards charity auction, Lexi hesitated only for a bit before deciding what the hell. But she wasn't about to attend it looking like Pip who was all glammed up like she was going to a party for queens and princesses. Then she remembered the bowling outing and decided to hell with the auction altogether. But of course she needed a ride and the Edwards' house was a lot nearer to the bowling alley than their own house and besides, it was raining.
So she quickly stuffed a bright green clown wig she had purchased eons ago for a friends' birthday party along with the red squeaking nose and big shoes into a duffel bag and got dressed into a lime green top with an aqua blue skirt and pink tights. She threw on a drab button down dress over her outrageous clothes in the pretense of going to the auction, she sneaked out to the car to deposit her bag in the trunk so no one was the wiser.
Once everyone was ready, Lexi was the first in the car and the drive over was filled with excitable chat between Raisa and Pip. They of course did not include Lexi in it, which her parents were quick to notice but said nothing of it. They arrived at the place and got shelter under the yawning covered porch. Lexi let her family go ahead in before she dashed out to the car to grab the bag only to find a long haired blond boy standing at the door with a tall guy who looked like a driver. She vaguely recognised him as superstar Maddog Madison from Toxic Religion's son, Dare Madison.
Wasn't he one of the organisers of the bowling? Why was he wasting his time at this boring auction? Drenched, she raced to him. "Hey Dare! Aren't you supposed to go for the bowling thing?" She asked, shaking her hair a bit to get rid of the water. "Come on! If we go now, we'd make it on time!" She plastered a smile on her face.

"Yeah I am going. Do you want a ride? I am supposed to drop off this guitar my dad is donating for auction, but apparently no one is answering doors today," Dare said and sneezed. He was drenched from standing in the rain for hours. He tended to catch colds easily and he had gotten little sleep the night before. He had Instead thought about Mike all night, getting more and more depressed since the other boy had definitely cooled down by the time the party broke up. Tony grabbed a worker and brought him over so Dare could explain about the certificate of authenticity and that there was a folder with its history inside the case.Dare slipped his almost freezing hand in Lexi' and opened the car door for her. Once inside he pumped up the heat. "Are you thirsty?" he asked opening the mini fridge and pulling out some Green tea for himself, figuring it might boost his immune system.
