Pulling a face, Evan’s excitement at the term ‘chocolate brown’ quickly faded when he realised that it wasn’t actually in regards to something edible. “Well, it is Aly, so probably. She’s mean that way.” he reasoned, though rather thankful for the girl for leaving them alone now. It was good to be alone with Brittany again, when she wasn’t angry at him. “I like your hair how it is now! And when it’s got all the colours in it.”
What she said about the apparent agreement sunk in quickly and he realised what she meant, what Aly had helped her with. Which both worried and pleased him, cause Aly was crazy, but if Brit stooped low enough to ask her for help, then she had to be just as crazy about him as he was about her. Which was great news to him. It wasn’t the only thing that sunk in though. “Hey, my hair’s brown! You calling my hair boring? It takes offence to that!” he teased, reaching out to tug on her lip playfully between his teeth. “You’re just lucky you’re cute, I’ll let you off for that. Only cause you’ve still gotta dye my hair, and I don’t want you making it blonde or something. So I’ll be nice to you.”
“Ice cream, ice cream, we all scream for ice cream.” Evan sung loudly as she led him downstairs, with a quick chat to her mum before Brit pulled him outside. “Thanks Mrs Durnham!” he yelled quickly before he was out the door. Now that they were out, he wrapped his arms around her as they walked to his car.
“I dunno, but I suppose we could just drive around, and every one we find, we can bang on the doors and hope someone’s inside. We can be loud.” he assured her with a grin, before resuming his usual habit of opening up the passenger door for her. “After you pretty lady.” he gestured, shutting it behind her and running to join her inside the car. “Let’s go! And you’re coming to bowling, right? I got me a new shirt, all special for the occasion. It’s my bowling shirt! Remember though, when you see me in it, fight the urge to jump me and undress me. You can do that after bowling.” he teased as they set off.
Wrapped! Mad thread ladies.
