There were no real words that could solidly express how she felt. Embarrassed and humiliated were close, but not quite. Dee had allowed Fin to take her to the emergency room to be checked out. With her being so out of it, she really wasn't sure what Fin had said or how he was feeling. That was not good.
For once, Delilah was glad that her parents were not home. After being released from the ER, she'd managed to get home. Toxicology and blood tests had shown that she was positive for Rohypnal. Someone had managed to slip a roofie into one of her cups the night before. She was miserable.
The ER doc had told her to expect more nausea, weakness, dizzy spells, all symptoms similar to the flu. After she had gotten home, Dee had curled up on the couch with a heavy blanket. When she had woken up a bit later, Fin was nowhere to be found. This upset her more then being drugged at the party. She knew how important her sobriety was to Fin, and now that it had been broken...
The brunette very slowly managed to get up off the couch, wrapping her blanket around her to ward off the shivering. She headed toward the kitchen to see if she could find some tea.

Fin sat at the kitchen table, resting his chin on one hand. He'd made a pot of coffee but hadn't bothered getting up to fetch it, too distraught by the events of the afternoon. At first he'd been upset that Dee had apparently gone out and gotten....he wasn't sure. Stoned? Drunk? Something that wasn't sober, anyway. But the drug the doctors had mentioned wasn't the sort he expected people to get their jollies from. Someone had slipped his girlfriend a date rape drug, and this didn't sit well with the tall, thin punk. He wasn't normally a violent person, but he wished desperately that he knew who was responsible so he could murder them.
The sound of someone entering the kitchen caused him to lift his head slightly, just millimeters above his hand, "Hey. Umm. How're you feeling?" He asked cautiously when he saw who it was. She could've died, and there was nothing he could have done about it. He wished he'd found her earlier, heard her message, gone after her, not let her go in the first place. Anything to have prevented this from happening. Even worse than the idea that someone drugged her was the suspicions he had about why they'd drugged her. At least she was still alive; that was something, anyway! His sisters claimed those drugs could cause heart failure, or the person who drugged her could have used her unconscious state to make sure she never woke up to turn them in.
"You should be resting."

Dee wrapped the blanket around her tighter, looking over when she heard Fin's voice, asking how she was feeling. A weak smile crossed her pale lips. She had been so sure that he had gone home. But nope, there he was sitting at her kitchen table, the scent of fresh brewed coffee heavy in the air.
The blanket wrapped brunette padded over and sat in a chair at the table. "Tired, dizzy, better then earlier though....I think anyway." She sighed, moving to lay her head on her arms on the table. "I'm sorry.." She whispered, looking at him. "I never would have done this...I was proud of getting away from all that crap." Her voice was soft, and she looked like hell warmed over, but her words were sincere.
"I don't even remember being at that warehouse. I remember being out at Rye's, and then nothing until when I managed to call you this morning." Dee looked over at the coffee pot, willing herself to get the energy to get up and get a cup. "The good thing, if anything can be considered good out of this, the ER doc, he did a rape kit, and it was negative. I don't think I could handle that."
He said she should be resting, and she responded with a weak nod. "I should be yes, but when I woke up, I was thirsty and worried you were mad at me. I'm so sorry Fin.." Dee's voice began to break, and tears shimmered in her eyes.

Fin pushed himself to his feet while Dee talked, following behind her as she fixed herself a cup of coffee. He was relieved at her confession, though confused as to how she'd ended up at the warehouse. He wished she could remember, because it was frankly worrying that she could have done anything during that time and not known.
"It's not your fault." He offered quietly as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "But I don't want you to go to Rye's anymore. You should come to the art club more, make friends with some of the other members. They won't...won't...they won't do this kind of thing to you. Or I could introduce you to Riley, I think you'd get along with her."
He would have suggested spending more time with Annie, but since Thursday she'd had her own problems. If he could just get Phil together with whoever drugged Dee then he could deal with both of them at once! He couldn't bear people causing distress to his favorite women, though Annie at least had other friends to help her through; Dee only had him. Not that he minded supporting her, of course, as he was rather enamored of the dark-haired beauty, but it meant he had to focus more time on her and less on his other friends.
"I called dad, told him I was staying the night." He added, "So I hope that's okay."

She was more then grateful for his touch, for his very presence. Dee carefully poured herself a cup of coffee, trying to make sure that she didn't spill it everywhere. Out of instinct, she poured one for Fin too, he'd obviously wanted some if he'd made the entire pot.
She looked at him when he started to speak. "I should try that.." She agreed, talking about the art club. "Trust me..I won't be going over to Rye's again...I cannot believe she'd let something like this happen." She lifted her cup and took a careful sip. Dee leaned back and rested against Fin for a moment. "I feel...so flipping stupid Fin..I mean..how could I let this happen?" She asked quietly.
She nodded."Yeah, you staying with me tonight is fine..I have no issues with that." An almost playful smile crossed her lips. "Seems like I finally got you into my bed." She had to joke, needed to make light in a dim situation. "I should try and get something solid into my body, chances are that it is going to come right back up, but I should try anyway." She turned and leaned into his chest. "Your dad was ok with you staying the night?"

"You aren't stupid." Fin reassured Dee quietly, moving his hand from her shoulder so he could wrap it around her. "You didn't let this happen." He was upset that she'd still trusted friends who had encouraged her in an unhealthy lifestyle, but the fact that someone at Rye's party had drugged her against her will wasn't her fault. In this scenario she was the victim, and Finlay was a big believer in not blaming the victim. Sure, sometimes people made mistakes that opened them up to victimization, but the burden of guilt was still on the person who took advantage of that fact.
"Mind if I order a pizza?" He questioned, "Or do you need something right this minute?" While he was a frequent visitor at the Amello house he wasn't quite as familiar with their pantry as he could have been. He had no problems helping himself to the coffee, but he wasn't much of a chef, so their kitchenware was in no danger of being borrowed. Unless they had instant ramen Dee was going to be sorely disappointed by his lack of prowess in the kitchen.
He nodded slowly when she inquired about his father. "Yeah, I told him you were sick and your parents weren't around so...." He shrugged. His father had acquiesced, overcoming tacit reluctance simply because he knew that his son was considered an adult at 18 and was responsible for his own choices. And Finlay was inherently honest, not the sort of boy to lie about his girlfriend being sick, even if he was highly interested in physical relations with her. It wasn't like they couldn't find time to get around any restrictions, anyway, so banning spending the night wasn't really the most effective way to stop a determined couple. However, in this case it was strictly the truth that Dee wasn't feeling well and needed someone there to care for her.

Dee turned and rested her head on Fin's chest since she couldn't really reach his shoulder. Barefoot, no, heels...sometimes. "I never should have gone, but Rye, he begged me to come out, said we hadn't hung out in ages, which was true. I don't think it was him that did it Fin..he was actually supportive of my being clean." She leaned her forhead against his chest and let her eyes close.
Fin asked if he could order a pizza, or did she need something immediate. "No, pizza's fine, extra pepperoni please.." Dee moved away from Fin just long enough grab some money out of the *for these occasions* jar hidden in a cabinet. "Call Vinnie's..best stuff." She curled up against him again.
"Your dad is cool, Mine wouldn't even notice if you were here and we were making all sorts of noice upstairs." She shrugged. "Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad." Dee had wished her mom had been there for her this morning, at least for a hug. But the Amello's paid so very little attention to their remaining daughter, it was sad.
"Are you gonna crash on the couch or do you wanna share mine?" She asked, looking up at him.
