Land of Dreams PRT 3 (Jade: Tag Jere)

If he was completely honest by the time they were heading for a good place to watch the display that would soon be starting, Jade was absolutely exhausted. That and he starting to get pretty hungry again, he didn't bring it up but he certainly would have passed up on the display and a good view for it. So that he could eat and watch the display at the same time, he was quite looking forward to putting his head down on a bed tonight as well but that didn't stop the smile that his lips were wearing.

He looked down at his watch then up at darkened sky, it had some how managed to stay dry. His mind had wondered to the party several times over the day and he'd had to take a couple of phone calls from caterers who wouldn't speak to Alex making him slightly irritable with the people on the other end of the phone. He'd growled at Alex to actually tell them that it was Jade speaking so that he wasn't bothered any more today, only to pass it on to Jade if the call was urgent enough and disaster was looming.

"If I'm like a sardine in a sardine can, I might get a little tetchy." Jade said to Jeremy, tired and in some pain he really wasn't in the mood to be jostled about by people who had no clue. Jade rubbed his eyes tiredly wishing he had brought his glasses with him and not left them in his car. "Sorry tired and sore." Jade said softly.

"I understand, its been a long day. I'm feeling it myself, and I wasn't even working!" Jeremy gave a gentle smile to Jade. He reached over and patted his hand. "Just relax now and enjoy the fireworks."

"You know before it starts, I could get us a little something to eat." This was the kind of day where he didn't mind spending the money on someone. He knew tomorrow would be a sort of parting, sure they'd see each other at school but it wouldn't be the same. Jade would be waking up back at his house, in his own bed, as would Jeremy but neither one would be next to each other.

He sat next to his boyfriend and put his arm around him. "I'm so glad I was able to share this with you and still have you with me. It didn't scare you off." There was light jest in Jere's voice. "Which leads me to my next words, and I know you'll like hearing these. Jade Edwards, I love you so much." He didn't care who saw at that moment, he kissed Jade solidly yet gently on the lips.

Jade smiled into the kiss, enjoying it for a long moment before allowing himself to return to reality. There were a few people around them glaring and kids whispering or asking awkward questions to their parents which made Jade snicker.

"I love you to." Jade said to him. "Um didn't think that would happen so soon, but hey feels so right." Jade said to him with a grin. "Today has been perfect, not being shot might have helped to increase the enjoyment factor but I've had a lot of fun here today." Jade said to him with a grin.

"You can stop glaring now, seriously its embarrassing just how much you like watching couples." Jade said with a grin on his face as he looked at a couple of people behind Jeremy. "I really don't like being stared at sorry if that was embarrassing." Jade said to Jeremy with a grin.

"Did you have fun today?" he asked with a smile.

"Well its not well over yet tonight we camp out and tomorrow we do what ever it is we do on Sundays, we have twenty four more hours of this weekend to go... and I don't know about you but I want to make sure we make the best of those twenty four hours. Next week is already looking pretty damn busy for us both." Jade added.

"Something about this place brings it out in people. Maybe its the magic." Jeremy said grinning, hearing the whispers from people. He put an arm around Jade's shoulder as he sat down.

"I thought you might, also help you relax a little and forget about everything going on for awhile. Let you be a kid for at least a day." Already Jeremy's wheels were turning about making a return trip, maybe during spring break and maybe even take a room at one of the hotels so there would be no one to bother the two of them.

Jeremy covered his mouth to stifle any laughter that was about erupt from his mouth. "That was too good, maybe they'll learn something from that." Granted the chances were slim to none that it would happen.

"I always have fun here, it was even better to share it with someone." Jeremy replied gazing into Jade's eyes. "Remember if you ever want to treat your family to a day here, let me know. I have hook ups for free passes. I'd even play tour guide for them."

"You really feel like going camping after this? I have this feeling once we get to the car and start for home you'll doze off." Jeremy teased him.

Jade gave him a look, he was clearly not looking forward to sleeping on the cold hard floor of a tent tonight, but he was willing to endure it for Jeremy because it was what they agreed to when they made these arangements earlier in the week.

"I'm good with what ever, though I would be happier in my own bed or in a hotel room than on a hard floor. We made a deal to go camping, I don't want to end that unless its what we both want. To often we do what I want, or I make you uncomfortable by paying for everything. This is your weekend, pretty much everything we are doing this weekend is your idea. So what ever you want to do is what we will do." Jade said with a smile on his face. "This is why I packed the pain killers into my bags... I'm fully prepared to be aching all over in the morning." he added.

"You might be right about my falling asleep in the car..." Jade said to him.

His eyes travelled to the show not really having a lot more to say on his sleeping issues, he knew he was fighting to keep awake right now. What he really wanted was a warm bed with big fluffy pillows, it didn't have to be his own bed though he thought that wasn't a bad idea... it could be in some crummy hotel or a five star... at this point he really didn't car... so long as it was a bed that he could drop of on as soon as his head touched the pillows, that would be his idea of heaven.

"Doesn't matter where ever we end up for the night, as long as its together." Jade said with a grin. "We have dinner reservations for tomorrow night, which is how we are going to end the weekend with what I hope is a romantic candlelight dinner. Well romantic maybe without the candles though." Jade said to him. "You have a good shirt in your bag?" he asked.

"Tell you what, lets put camping on hold, no telling if the rain will be hitting us tonight or not." Jeremy was cool with what happened. "Speaking of pain killers, how are you holding up? Do you need any?" He didn't need to suffer the wrath of Alex or Sarah if anything happened to Jade.

"I'll get you home as soon as the fireworks are over." He snuggled next to Jade. The voice over announcer made the speech about the magic of Disney and how it all began. Goosebumps started to pop up all all over Jere's arms.

That was when she made her grand entrance. Launching from the Matterhorn ride, Tinkerbell, flew around Sleeping Beauty's castle waving her wand making the the magic happen.

Jere whispered to Jade. "I don't know how those girls do it, I'd probably be so sick to my stomach." He laughed a little and watched as the music from the day all went in time with the pyrotechnic display.

It seemed to end too soon for Jere. The next time, there would be more. He'd start planning now. Once a good portion of the crowd left, Jeremy stood and offered his hand to Jade, "Ok sleepy head, time to head home and time for pleasant dreams."

Jade flashed the boy a smile, "I'm good, I can wait until we get back in the car... I left the medication in the glove compartment." Jade said to him. "It was easier than carrying it around all day, no chance of actually losing it. If I'd carried around the bottle, it could have fallen out, then I'd actually have to go get more and make do with normal pain killers until I can get more of the good stuff." Jade said with a smirk. "Oh don't worry I'm not in threat of becoming an addict... I take them only when the pain is intolerable." Jade said. "Which it is starting to become." he added.

Jade snickered, "I guess that a girl in some cases can have better intestinal fortitude than a guy." Jade said with a teasing look on his face. "I'm betting that more than once the girls who do that lose their lunches, or theirs a trick to it like they don't eat a couple of hours before they do the performance. That might explain why their so thin to." Jade added.

When the show ended Jade was a little disappointed, he had been enjoying it all, that said he was pleased to be thinking more clearly about his bed.

"Sure lets go." Jade said with a grin.
