Haley had gone to the brunch. It had been very interesting. She got the password from Cam, and passed it on to Aly in the afternoon. She hoped what ever Aly had planned did not backfire. Haley decided she could use a night out. She had been stuck inside for too long. Haley was bored and when she got bored, she did something about it. Haley wore a dark blue dress with red heels. Might seem strange but Haley liked when people commented on her outfits. Haley decided her fake ID should come out to play. Instead of driving, Haley had her drive take her. The guy was mainly her dads drive, but Haley called him anyway. She had him take her to peirside. A place that was known for serving good drinks. She got out and walked into the place and up to the bar. She could be out with friends, but this was about her having a night of relaxation and fun. Drinking, talking to people, and maybe flirting just a tad, was nothing bad. She would never do anything to hurt Cam or their relationship, but couples needed to be apart. Besides she highly doubted Cam would come out with her, and she knew that asking him to come out drinking was not smart. She did not want to change him too much "Can I get a whiskey sour?" She asked the bartender. Haley flashed her ID, which was accepted and waited for her drink. She turned to the side and crossed one leg over the other. The problem with long legs was showing them off. Okay so that was not a problem but still. Cam liked her legs, which mean she had good legs. God, Cam was adorable. Just thinking about him made her smile. She would have to invite him out on Sunday and treat him to something special to thank him for what he did. Haley was not even paying attention when someone walked over.

OOC: Since this is an any one tag... I'm making this a three way.
Theo's day had been spent doing family things, his mother had wanted help shopping for a new kitchen of all things... why on earth he had been dragged on that trip was a mystery to him. He knew nothing about kitchens and which would or would not look good in the house. It hadn't turned out to badly, they got what they needed from the stores in question, then he was dragged willingly though he made it sound like he was unwilling through clothes stores and a games store. He knew his mother could spend a hell of a lot of money in one afternoon, but he was pretty sure that she had set a new record even for her. They had to get most of what they brought delivered to the house, and he had been told that he was babysitting his nephews the following night which was always fun if you were a sadist and liked pain that was.
So he escaped via cab for a local bar, which he had been to a couple of times, the staff were always polite and didn't mind that he asked them to repeat themselves half the time. The rain made his hair friz just a little more than normal but that didn't seem to bother him as he flashed his ID as asked the man gave him a look before nodding him through. He made it to the bar wishing almost that he had a towel to dry his hair of which was dripping water down onto his nose.
"What can I get you?" he asked.
"A pint of the usual." Theo said to the man who nodded before turning to get what he had asked for. Theo's eyes drifted around the room to look for a good place to sit which wasn't the bar, but still had people around it so he didn't look completely alone which of course he was. He saw someone he thought he knew as he was paying up. Haley he thought with a smile, he picked up his beer tipping generously then headed down the bar.
"Hi Haley right?" he asked with a smile, his usual ham handedness with words not appearing as yet, which was he thought a minor miracle. "Would you care for some... company?" he asked her.

Haley sipped her whiskey sour when she heard a familiar voice. She tuned to see who it was, "Theo right." She said with a smile. I think i remember running into you once or twice, or at least hearing about you. Aren't you dancing for the play?" She asked. "If I have that wrong then please forgive me. I tend to get people mixed up, but I am sure your name is Theo." She said laughing sipping her drink a little more.
"Yes please...I could use the company. You can help me keep these old men from staring. They are kind of creepy." She said to him. Although Haley had experience with creepy. Then again she was in a bar, ordering a drink with a fake ID, so perhaps one could say she was asking for the stares.
"So how are things going for you..Did you go to the brunch?" Haley had not been sure who had been invited or not. "It was fun. Bree does know how to put together an event." She told him. Haley continued to sip her drink slowly. Haley smiled as she sat there, really thankful for the company. "I must say thanks...a lot..you might have saved me from the boring conversation of a few other people here tonight."

Theo gave her a bright smile, "You got my... name right... and what I am doing... in the musical." he said before taking a gulp of beer and sighing contently. "You need to look straight at me... this place is quite noisy... it will be easier... if I can read your lips." he said to her cursing himself... well it couldn't last forever my luck and my speech don't go together after all he thought to himself.
"No I wasn't at the brunch... I got dragged kitchen shopping today. My mom decided she didn't... like the kitchen as much as she thought she did... when they brought the house. I got a few things out of it... but I could have spent my time doing something... more interesting." Theo said to her.
"Nothing more annoying than being pestered... by randy old men... seriously how grossed out do they... want the teens of today to be?" Theo asked her he was openly gay so he didn't mind revealing that bit about him. After all how many people at the school were thinking black guy who dances and plays the saxophone, would have to be gay. It wasn't something he minded to much, he could handled whatever this school thought about him. "This town is so different from New York... at my last school I spent half the day dancing the other half was on academic's... kind of like fame but not so camp... okay a little camp." he said with a grin. "I'm training to become a ballet dancer... always wanted to be a trend setter." Theo said to her with a smile.

Haley turned to look at Theo so she could talk and he could see her lips. "Kitchen shopping sounds fun." She sipped her drink. "I would be horrible at helping my mother pick out cabinets and tiles. I have a sense for fashion, but not for interior decorating." Haley admitted. "My mom usually hires some one to remodel parts of the house every few months. She is never happy. I hope your mother is happy with the new items she choose." Having a remodel done was never fun, yet her mother was obsessed.
"And what would you have rather spent your time doing?" Haley was curious what Theo did for fun. She knew he was gay so it could never hurt to ask. "I mean besides dancing." She had heard him talk about the school and had to admire a guy with such passion for something. Haley was far from figuring out what she wanted to do with her life.
"I wish I knew what i wanted to do. Besides cheer leading I have nothing else I am really interested in..well besides my boyfriend too. But in terms of passion, I am not sure what I have a passion for....you know. I mean I have hobbies and things I like, but I have no idea what I want to be...how long have you wanted to dance?"

Nolan was drunk.
That was the easiest way to put it as the tall frame of a man sauntered into the bar. He was relaxed, easy-going, and very much not like himself. Nolan was not known to be a “player,” or even for that matter to be outspoken to anyone, but as he walked into the bar he greeted many people very randomly. His eyes lacked the focus they usually held. He still looked good, however, in a tight Chief's t-shirt and jeans. Simple, but easy to pull off when you were in shape.
He waltzed into the bar without a care in the world and immediately addressed the man behind the bar. “Beer me. And a shot of whiskey!” Anyone that knew the boy could tell something was off. Most obviously, he didn't drink often. Even at parties he was know to have a beer at most, but he was never the guy to get drunken crazy. He glanced down the bar, then slapped his card on the table. “I'm buyin'!”
He glanced over, and through the haze of alcohol he managed to recognize a face. Not his brother, who had promised to show up. But a female face, and another that looked somewhat familiar though it seemed a jumble of various shapes.
“Haley?” questioned Nolan. It was obvious he didn't expect to know anyone at this bar. She seemed to be with someone however, and the last thing Nolan wanted was to be the other guy, or girl as the case may be. “Sorry to bother, just recognized you.” He turned back to the barkeep, waiting intently for his order.

Theo gave her a wicked grin, "What I know about kitchens... can be written... on the back of a postage stamp. I think my mom took me along because being gay... she thinks I have... impeccable taste. Which maybe true... but it doesn't matter if I don't... know what anything about what we're buying." Theo said taking a moment to take a gulp of his drink and just catch himself before he spoke again.
He smiled when she asked him about his plans besides dancing, "I guess if I can't dance I'd like to continue on with my music... I play the saxophone..." Theo said with a grin on his face he took pleasure in the things he did, he wasn't really much of a jock he liked sports but watching them or playing them for fun was much more fun for him.
Theo grinned, "When you find something that you love... and your really good at your know. Cheerleading may not be a world beater but it can open the door for other things... all you have to do is get into a college on a scholarship and work it out from there. Or if you don't have issues with cash just work it out when you get there." Theo added.
"My sister she took up dancing when we were little... she's closer to my age than my brother is... so we are closer... anyway my parents let me go with her to a couple of lessons. I was like one of three boys in the lessons... but it didn't matter I was hooked. I can do other forms of dance... but ballet and modern are my personal favourites... dancing in a non arts schools musical... is childs play. I just have to make sure I don't... make the actors look like complete idiots on the night..." he said with a grin.
Theo's eyes travelled to the new arrival, the boy was clearly drunk and just about standing he thought. It shocked him the bartender would still serve him, but then again he had been let into the bar to begin with. Maybe that said something about this place he thought to himself.
"Maybe you should sit down before you fall down." Theo said to the boy concern written across his face, he was amazed that said boy was still standing. "

"Isn't that a stereo type that gay guys have taste...I am not saying you don't, i am just saying its a stereotype right. Well perhaps she also just wanted to spend some one on one time with you. My dad will take me to the grocery store just to spend a few minutes with me." Then again usually her mother was off having something waxed, dyed or cut.
"Yeah i considered it, being a cheerleader in college...its actually not a bad idea. I looked into a few programs, but money is not an issue for me. Its more of an issue of what college I want to go to and the colleges I have picked are more focused on academics then sports." She told him. Not many people knew that little fact though.
"You play the sax..look at that, you learn something new everyday. Although I will admit cheer leading does help me when i have to learn how to dance like for the school play, but I leave the rest up to you...and people who actually know what they are doing...I just follow the moves someone gives me." She said with a light laugh.
It was then she heard her name and looked over, "Nolan." Haley smiled and stood up. She walked over and hugged him. He was a football player and she was a cheerleader so of course they know each other. Haley gave him a hug then ordered herself a refill. "Nolan this is Theo...Theo this is Nolan." She introduced them, "And I agree with Theo, you okay...you need to sit down..." She kept a friendly hand on Nolan's back to help support him.

Theo grinned at her, "My mom likes to sterotype me as the gay man you'd get in Will and Grace... it helps her to deal with the whole thing. My parents are cool with it all, but being deaf gay... and black I think that's a little... more than they could cope with." Theo said to her not at all bothered with being open. "She made it worth my while to go shopping wiith her." he added.
"Well its your life... so at the end of day... if their is something that you really want to do or just something you thought about on a whim. Give it a shot, you can alwayus change your major if your not happy after you get there." Theo added.
"You know anyone... can learn to dance... just like most people can learn to play an instrument. It helps if their is something there... to work with to begin with... and if you don't have two left feet." he said with a smile. "If your in the show... and you need some help give me a shout... I'll be happy to work with you... I'm sure the others would be to... but no strings with my offer." Theo said to her.
He eyed the boy still amazed that he could stand and talk at the same time, the boy looked one step away from being catatonic from alcohol poisoning or something. He stood ready to help the boy into a seat and get the staff to call for a cab for said boy.

“Fall down?”Nolan asked, as if it were the most ridiculous idea ever. “I don't hit the ground, I don't take the sack. Ever!” He spread his arms wide as if to exaggerate some point, standing tall in the bar. His voice was loud, typical of someone who had a few, but his speech wasn't too slurred. Yet.
“Let's see ya try to tackle me, c'mon!” He shot a wink at Haley, obviously thinking they were having some fun. She came over to greet him, however, and he returned the hug. He noticed how soft she felt, and how good she smelled. He had always thought Haley to be quite pretty, but now he started thinking about her in different, more carnal ways. “Hello to you too,” he cooed into her ear, then pulled away. She left her hand on his back, which he took as a good sign, so he in retrun put his arm around her shoulders. “I'm fine, long as I got you here.”
“So what are you crazy kids up to tonight? Partyin' on a Saturday night?” Nolan was grinning like a fool, even though earlier in the day he had felt like he never would smile again. He had also earlier discovered the consolation alcohol could bring a person. “Just you wait, my brother Freddy's coming. You might remember him from your freshman year, Haley. He was starting quarterback then. He's a blast!” With that, Nolan turned and quickly downed the shot of whiskey. His face contorted into a mean grimace, and he took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. He then picked up the beer and took a drink. His face had turned quite red, but he shook his head and returned his attention to the pair.
