Sunlight filtered through the window, a window that had been covered with newspaper in an attempt for some privacy. Time and moisture had caused the paper to peel away from the dirty glass. A weak groan was heard from a brunette sprawled on the dingy tiled floor. Delilah turned her head away from the patch of sunlight slowly moving its way across the floor. The room spun violently on all possible axis. Her heart felt like it was going to pound its way out of her chest.
The girl had gone out to a party the night before, and while the others had been drinking or popping some sort of pill, Dee had not. She was nearly 60 days clean and sober and was beyond proud of that. It was too bad that some of her former friends did not feel the same way. A prank had been pulled, and Dee was now paying the price for it. Clad in a black leather mini dress, fishnets and asskicker boots, she'd set out to have fun. She'd needed to destress about the not getting into college deal. Fin was fantastic, but she did not want to bother him all the time about it.
Dee opened her eyes, blinking slowly, trying to make her blurred vision clear. She had NO clue where she was, or what had happened the night before. Pushing herself up slowly on her hands, Dee felt her stomach roll over dangerously. The young woman had barely enough time to crawl over to the chipped and broken toilet a few feet away. Within seconds, the contents of her stomach were doing the backstroke in the bowl, leaving her with a horrid acidic bile taste in her mouth. A face danced in front of her eyes, blond, gorgeous, angular features. She knew his face.
Leaning on the counter, Dee fished her phone out of her bra, and with shaking hands, fumbled through her phone book. Fin! That was his name. She loved Fin. Haha..Fin..what a funny name.
It rang..and rang..and rang. His voice came on, asking her to leave a message. Trying to keep her composure as she was starting to get really freaked out, and the urge to vomit was really strong again. "Fin...it's me...something..last night..I need help..I don't know where I am." After hanging up, Dee managed to turn the GPS tracker on her cell before she collapsed back to the floor.
