Nate had called Skye's new home and got her foster mother. She informed him, she was at the mall. Nate hung up the phone. After spending an interesting morning with Jay, Trix and DJ, Nate could use some girlfriend action. "You sure you don't want me to stick around DJ, cause you are missing out on a lot. I am a much better date then Trixie." Nate said joking around. "Alright I am out, see you losers later."

Nate left the house and got in his car driving to the mall. Now a smart person would call his girlfriend and find out exactly where she was, but Nate liked doing things the hard way. He parked the car and got out. He walked in and the first stop was a shop where he picked out a yellow rose. Red was too predictable.

He started to walk around the mall peeking around corners and in store windows. He finally found her. Nate watched Skye hobble for a few moments before slowly sneaking up to her. He knew how much she hated that so he waited for her to turn around before he said anything. "Hey you....now kiss me before my girlfriends sees us." He smiled and pulled her in for a quick, but passionate kiss.

Skye had managed to find a few really cute outfits, most of them involving skirts to make things easier for wrapping her knee. She'd contemplated the idea of getting her navel pierced while she was here, but wasn't fully sure about it yet. She was doing really well on the crutches, hopping around with little hindrance. She'd shoved her purchases into her bag and managed to keep it at her back for the most part.

Taking a glance at her watch, and the grumble in her stomach, Skye figured it might be time to grab something to eat. Heading down one of the halls, Skye got the feeling that someone was following her. It made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. For a very brief moment, Skye had the horrifying thought that Brian was standing there.

Turning around very slowly, she found herself more then relieved that it was Nate and not her father. She fell easily into his arms, dropping the crutches to the side. "I'' forgive the girlfriend comment this time.." She muttered against his mouth. "Thought you were him for a moment...scared the hell out of me."

Nate ran his hand through her hair, "He will never show his face. Even brian is not that dumb. If he does he will two people kick his ass." Nate might not like Nero, but he knew Nero would help kick Brian's ass and that was okay with Nate. he sighed and kissed her again. "Oh but come on...the idea of my girlfriend catching us...its fun." He said joking around.

He knew Skye did not like it, but it was fun and he could not help it. "I am kidding. So you wanna grab a bite on me? I mean that literally by the way." He winked at her. It was always fun to joke around with Skye. he needed a girl with a good sense of humor. Also he neede done who could understand his sense of humore.

"I was thinking mall food, but Iam not sure subjecting you to that is a good idea. So you pick the place and I shall be your driver. You can boss me around and everything...I mean that too...boss me...I love it..." Nate said laughing. He picked up Skye's crutches and handed them to her and waited for her to decide. He did not mind letting her make the decisions. She was cute. he would take her commands.
