He'd been invited to go fishing with one of his stepfathers, the man had kept in touch with him mainly because they had shared an interest in fishing for sport or just fishing to eat. Francesc had called him just after he had left the cafe to invite him along, apparently his brother had turned the man down. So as he headed down to the private dock, that his stepfather kept the yahct mawed at he had the biggest smile on his face imaginable. Though most would have barfed at the idea of calling this thing a small boat. He had been there when the man had brought it, what was the reason again. Oh that was right the man had brought it so that he could take his step sons fishing on it, three months later and they were throught with stepfather number four. Their mother had moved up the food chain, onto the next big money man.
He slipped the car into a free space and grabbed his bag, he knew he didn't have to worry about rods or bait for that matter. The man in question met him at the boarding plank hugging him tightly.
"Hola Cesc." Braedan the man smiled brightly. "Su aspecto bien." he said.
"What is with the spanish Braedan?" the man asked.
"Why not?" Braedan asked.
"Your mother would have a fit if she knew." Francesc said to him with a smile.
"Why do you think I do it?" Braedan asked him with a grin the man laughed.
"Come aboard, everyone is here, we were just waiting on you." Francesc said to him.
"I hope not for to long." Braedan said to him.
"Not at all grab your self a beer, we have Gustav taking us out so I am allowed a drab of alcohol." he said the mans heavily accented English was almost as bad as Braedan's, neither were native to America.
Braedan walked around to the bow of the ship to find a couple of his former cousins standing on the deck with a beer in hand. Braedan smiled as he was hugged by them.
"You've been working out." Daniel said to him.
"No more so than usual... where is the beer?" Braedan asked him the boy laughed him.
"In the fridge at the back of the cabin." Marco said to him.
"Excellent, I'm in the mood to eat what I catch, I hope Cesc brought a chef along... god knows we need it after the last time he cooked." Braedan said they all laughed as Francesc pouted at them all. "You didn't mention that this would be a family outing." Braedan said to him.
"And spoil the surprise I don't think so." Francesc said.
When Braedan came out of the large cabin he had a case of beer with him, Francesc looked at him for a moment before he noticed the large ice box.
"Easier access." Braedan said to him as he put the cans in the box opening the one in his hand and taking a swing. "You think we can avoid the near collisions this time Gustav?" Braedan called to their pilot who glared down at him. "No creeping up on the big ships, we can't win that fight no?" he asked teasing the man who was kind of a personal aide to his step father, someone he had once hated with a passion.
"How is it you say, shut up your face." Gustav snapped Braedan chuckled.
"Must you provoke him?" Francesc asked.
"Es mucho para fácil, además yo no le he perdonado por lo que hizo en nuestro último viaje." Braedan ran of in a language he knew the man in question could not understand.
"Never insult the driver in a language he can understand hey cousin." Marco said to him.
"Not your cousin any more, just friends remember." Braedan said to him ignoring the question.
TBC: Will do another part or two of this later.
Translations:
Es mucho para fácil, además yo no le he perdonado por lo que hizo en nuestro último viaje. = He is far to easy, plus I have not forgiven him for what he did on our last trip.
Su aspecto bien. = You look well
