www.thefashionpolice.net/images/2008/04/21/green_dress.jpg"Sandy you look simply stunning in this dress!" Jackson told his daughter as she descended the stairs of the home. She blushed. "Thank you daddy." She went over and hugged him. "And thank you for listening to me complain yesterday, and talking me back into going today." "You are my little girl and I want whats best for you." He put an arm around her. "And if that Tyler guy does anything to upset you, come to me, I'll set him straight." He was semi serious, no one upset daughter but he wouldn't hurt the kid in any way, just scare him a little. "We should get going if I'm going to drop you off." The two started for the door. "Hold on you two!" Greg spoke from the kitchen. "There should be a picture for such an occasion." He had the digital camera ready. "There we go, we can remember this day." He looked at Sandy. "Call me when you need to be picked up." She nodded. "I'll do that, just wish you were going too." "No thanks, I had enough events like this. I need a break from them." "It's ok, I understand." She gave him a peck on the cheek. She then turned to her father. "I'm ready now." -------------------------------------- Jackson dropped Sandy off at the Four Seasons. She found the room where the brunch was being held and entered with her head held high and began to mingle.

Rosalie walked in and was glad she went with the hair up in a sparkly clip. She held her purple clutch as she looked around. There was plenty of girls there already and she smiled and waved at some of the other cheerleaders. She got a drink and looked around as she took a sip. She saw Bree but she looked like she was waiting for someone. She noticed a girl she knew, and she remembered. She had met the shy red head while she was clothing shopping and she helped her out.
Walking up to her Rosalie smiled. "Hi Sandy right? I am sorry I have not said hi sooner, but with both schools combined it is hard to distinguish one person after another in a crowded hallway and classrooms" she said with a smile. "Do you have anyone to sit with? If you don't you can sit with me?" she offered with a smile. She could tell the girl was a bit nervous and shy by the way she looked around. And she did not mind putting her at ease at all.She instinticly knew that they could be friends, that her and this girl would get along really well.
OOC: Sorry I forgot to switch names to Rosalie

Sandy turned when she heard her name. It was the girl who helped suggest the best color for her. "Oh hi!! You're Rosalie if I remember correctly." Sandy replied. "I went with the color you suggested, that was sweet for you to help me like that." She had to stop herself.
"Your outfit is amazing, the purple is eye catching." She complimented the other girl. "I haven't found anyone to sit with yet, so yes I'd be happy to sit with you!" At least a friendly face to talk to.
She looked over and saw Tyler, she took a deep breath and hoped he hadn't seen her.
He had.
She felt herself turn a couple shades of crimson. "I...I could use something to drink." Maybe Rosalie would have some info on what to do or how to handle things.
"Sorry, but I just get so flustered around him." She pointed out Tyler. "I mean I saw him yesterday with another girl and I completely flipped! It's not like he's asked me to be his or anything." She tilted her head slightly. "I'm sorry, I dumping my problems on you."

Rosalie looked over and saw the guy Sandy was looking at. It was Tyler he had a repuation as a ladies mant hat is for sure. Of course those are the ones when they find a woman to fall for they fall hard and it scares the pants off of them. "It is okay" she said. "I mean if a guy says and acts like he likes you then is all over another girl he is not that into you" she said. She did not want to be harsh but she wanted to be honest to the girl. "Or if you think there is a chance it coudl be real between you two make him sweat it out" she said to her with a smile.
Finding a table she sat down and was glad to see that Sandy sat next to her. She crossed her legs and soon had a new drink in front of her. "How do you know Bree?" she asked the young redhead. She was not sure if she was older then her or not. "But back to the subject of boys. The best way to make a guy know what he lost by not showing enough interest or trying to be a player is find a real man, a man that will appericated you and then the other guy will try to win you back or just have a lot of regret" she said. "I hope my advice is good" she said with a laugh. "I have not had a relationship before, I am a flirt but never had a real relationship." She knew people would be suprised by that becasue she was beautiful and had a great body and was nice, she just never found the guy she wanted to be spend her time in a relationship with.
"I just can't seem to find the guy I want to spend my time with romantically. I want the right guy when it comes, of course I don't mind flirting" she laughed and said with a smile as some food was placed in front of her.

Dare excused himself from Bree's side as he hadn't eaten yet and went to the Buffet tables to pick out mostly salad and fruit as well as a piece of mushroom and spinach tart. With a full plate he looked around and sighed for he didn't know any of the people it seemed. there was some movement in his pocket and a small whine. "All right, all right. I haven't forgotten you. There is some nice salmon, would you like that?" He assumed from the butt wiggling that it was and he put some pieces of the delicate pink fish on his plate for Rosco who had looked so forlorn when he was about to leave that he had just tucked him in the pocket of his tux jacket.Seeing two pretty young ladies, Dare steered himself in their direction figuring it couldn't hurt his reputation to sit with them. Smiling as he reached them he bowed slightly and asked quietly. "Would you mind if we joined you?" he asked and waited, making sure his long hair didn't fall in anyone's food.

Putting Rosco on a vacant chair, Dare gave him a dish of water and a plate with salmon on it.The puppy was clearly in ecstasy as the wiggling of his butt kept putting the water bowl in danger of toppling off and kept Dare busy keeping it securely on the chair. He occasionally peeked at his companions as he ate, but he was way too shy to initiate conversation. He had no talent with girls and it was lucky he really didn't want any.

Rosalie smiled at the guy. "Hi I am Rosalie and that is Sandy" she said indicating them. She about squeal when she saw the dog but kept it in. "Aawww your dog is so cute" she said and made a kissing noise at it. "How old is he? And what kind of dog is he?" she asked the boy curiously. She could never hide her love of animals. She loved animals so much, sometimes she spent more time with them then real people. She took a bite of her food and a sip of her drink and smiled over at Sandy.
"Is he your only pet?" she asked when she did not have a mouth full. She dabed at her mouth, her table manners kicked in. She was raised to be on her best table manners out in public of course that also depended where she was. At a place like this it was your best and not act like you don't have any. "So how do you know Bree?" she asked him. She was glad others thought her and Sandy looked friendly enough to walk up to and join them at the table. Rosalie admited she loved making new friends and meeting new people, she was just that kind of person.

Sandy listened intently. It did bother her what Rosalie had to say and it made sense. "Make him sweat it out, hmm I don't know if anything makes him sweat. He's too assured of himself."
"We have a couple classes together plus our red hair sort of makes us sisters." She ordered an ice tea as a server made his rounds. Sandy wasn't sure who was interested in her. She knew she couldn't ask Greg to act like he was into her, who else was there? "Any advice is better than no advice. I could try what my mom did, she was trying to get my dad's attention so one day she went to school with a huge plate of cookies and with one bite it was love at first bite." It was a story she loved hearing.
"When the right guy comes along, you'll know." She gave a tender smile to Rosalie. She was a true friend.
Sandy had ordered the buffet and went and got herself a small plate of fruit and a helping of eggs Benedict. When she returned the young blond boy who had been speaking with Bree earlier. "Hi, its a pleasure to meet you. Its a wonderful thing your father has done for the cause." She kept that in mind and would see if her father would do something like that.

www.pedigreepuppiesforsale.com/puppies/boxer_puppies.jpg this is what rosco looks like except his markings are black. "Rosco is a boxer. He is an animal rescue pup. I don't have papers for him, but he is a great pet. We have a 8 foot long boa constrictor named Grim that is my dad's, but he isn't at home much. He travels with the band and does his bit on stage." Dare answered the earlier question from Rosalie. He wasn't sure of the girls' opinions on snakes so he kept his description brief. My dad almost transferred me to a private school when the shootings happened, so this project means a lot to him. We really only have each other so the thought of losing one of us is pretty traumatic. Well we have Syn now as well, but we are still getting used to her. Soon she will be necessity I am sure. Well I'm hosting a jam session at my place today so I should get home and set up. It was really great meeting you both," he said and gave them his card which had his cell and home phone on it. Rosco was trying to climb on Rosalie's lap in the hopes she had sausages on her plate, so Dare rescued her dress by putting the pup in his pocket again. "I hope we can work together on something with this." He gave them his blinding smile and bowed before walking away to whisper something to Bree. She laughed and waved him on though she was sad to see him go. He was always so enthusiastic when it came to projects.
