"What? I have conversations with chicks!" Patch objected. Sure, he'd usually rather not, but that didn't mean he was incapable. He interacted with Mal and Brit all the time! Granted, they were girlfriends of friends, but they were still girls and he talked to them. Sometimes. When there wasn't a proper male to address.
He eyed Yuri warily; she was certainly giving Ritz an awful difficult time for all he was only trying to help her out. "Uhhh, I guess you can handle this...." He decided, inching down the path and back to K.B. He really did need to return home; the rest of his family would be waking soon and he needed to get in the shower before Nick, otherwise there wouldn't be any hot water left.
"I uhhh I'll see ya round." He said vaguely as he reached his dog, not really addressing either one of them. He would be sure to get Yuri her CD, because he enjoyed having his taste in music complimented and not because he particularly wanted to have another conversation. If they had to discuss anything other than music he would have been quite lost.
He beckoned K.B. to follow and then boy and malamute took off, back toward the Kimball home, leaving the Quail's to work out amongst themselves whether Yuri made it through the front door.
