"Planned?!" Sunar feigned offense at Tae's accusation, placing one hand across his heart in implication she'd emotionally wounded him with her jest. "You know me better than that! Planned!" He snorted, folding his arms across his chest. "I can't believe you'd accuse me of such...such....such.....such forethought!" He finished, waving his sketch at her in admonition. "You know I never plan anything."
He rummaged in his backpack for the folder he kept loose papers in and added this new one. "You don't have to come with me, I can finish it tonight and give it to you on Monday. I'll just guess at the colors, but if you end up purple or green or something I can't be held responsible."
He hoisted his bag over his shoulder and held out a hand. "Up?" He offered, "if you're not going home with me, we should at least grab lunch or something first."
He'd never asked her over to his house before, and he could understand that she would be reticent. Especially as Daja had been giving him a difficult time over his interest. As if she had any room to talk, when she was so obsessed with her fiance. Fiance! The fiance that their parents had picked out! She couldn't say anything about some girl that he liked that he'd chosen himself! But she did.
"Unless you're full from the Little Debbies. I mean, I think those're a pretty good lunch myself, maybe just get another box or something, though, cause my stomach thinks I need to eat more. It's not really specifying Little Debbies, but whatever."
