Appearance: Grace stands about 5'8" and has a very athletic body. It is evident that she runs a lot, as she is very toned. Her brown hair is almost always pulled back in a ponytail, and though she likes to dress nicely when she knows she doesn't have practice, it is much more likely to find her in sweats, a t-shirt, and sneakers. She doesn't mind getting dirty, getting bruised or cut, and sometimes shows off such battle wounds.
Guys have told her she has very pretty blue eyes, which she pretends to hate but secretly likes to hear.
Personality: Her teammates know her as Kate, and Kate is an aggressive, competitive girl. She plays to win the game, as they say. On the field she is focused and rarely gets distracted, though lately it seems her focus has been wavering slightly...
Off the field she wants to be known as Grace and she has decided to make an effort to be prettier and more popular. She wants to hang with the most elite of cliques, though socially she lacks the tenacity she reserves for her athletic endeavors. She often tends to become quiet when she feels socially left out.
She is an average student, which frustrates her since her brother is so smart. She doesn't understand why it seems so easy for him.
Her body developed early on in middle school, and she very soon found that she did not like it when boys would give her weird looks. In fact, she found she didn't care much for boys at all. Lately she has been noticing some of her teammates, however...

Family Background and History: Father - Edward Joseph Walker, Programmer for Sun Microsystems, and member of the Board of Directors at the Hollywood Bowl. In college he played piano and sang for the band "Danger Close," who had the one hit wonder "I Can Still Picture You (Naked)." He still enjoys pop piano music. He is a kind man, but pushes his children to work hard and to achieve.
Mother - Kelly Hannigan Walker, Professor of Music at UCLA. She is a very busy woman who tries to make time for her children. Though she claims not to try to, Grace thinks she favors her brother Parson.
Parson Lee Walker, first year Mathematics grad student at UCLA. He is only 19 years old. He skipped many grades, graduated high school at 15 and college at 18. Most people call him a genius, and Grace often feels hidden in his incredibly huge shadow. While he is a loving brother, he can sometimes not realize when he is being a huge pain.
