Character Name: Celest Regina Zouvelekis
Nickname: C, CiCi
Age: 14
Birthday: July 19th
Place of birth: Los Angeles
School: Gould
Grade: Freshman
Appearance: Standing at 5'5", Celest is of average height. She's thin but not overly so. She's at a healthy weight and body size for her height. Her hair is brown and a little wavy, falling just past her shoulders and she likes to alternate wearing it down and putting it up depending on her mood. Her complexion is fair and she has light brown freckles on her face and arms that multiple when she spends too much time in the sun. Her eyes are pale blue and although doesn't wear much makeup she likes lining her eyes in a thin pencil and tends to wear mascara.
Celest's wardrobe is varied. She likes pieces that remind her of fantasy elements like blouses with puffy sleeves and long skirts. Still, being a teenage girl she'll wear jeans and all that, but she isn't opposed to having a bit of her own style rather than just following all of the trends. Along with her interest in fantasy, Celest also enjoys sewing her own costumes and has a number of long dresses that she won't wear to school or anything like that, but still likes to wear around the house and in her bedroom sometimes.
Personality: In front of the cameras, Celest appears very calm and collect, even though she doesn't particularly like them. She's very insistent in appearing mature and as if she has a good attitude about it all. She'll only really complain about them in private. Being mature is something that is very important to Celest. She likes to play mother hen over her siblings and act like she's got it all together, yet she also still likes to play dress up and read fantasy novels in her room, so in ways she is also still very much like a little girl. She's in a bit of a transitional state from where she was and where she wants to be.
She doesn't approve of her sibling's schemes or how much they get into trouble. In fact she's always trying to stop them and get them out of it. However, the problem is that as much as she likes to think that she's more mature and in charge of everything, she really isn't. Instead of stopping their schemes she often finds herself getting dragged into them and getting in trouble just the same. Still, she's very big on following rules and doing what she is supposed and tries to enforce them on everyone else. When she does end up getting in trouble, due to her siblings she'll always say that its the last time she's going to try and help them or stop them, but she'll always get dragged back in again. She can't help it.
Town Area: Downtown LA
Job: Former Reality TV star
Transportation: Parents and older siblings
Family Background and History: Father: Dorian
Mother: Sibyl
Uncle: James
Nana: Phyllis Sophia Manikas
Triplets: Seth, Serena and Sarissa
Quintuplets:
Julian, Dena, Celeste, Brandon, Trenton
Dorian and Sibyl are devout members of the Eastern Orthodox Church, which is where they met. Sibyl was an aspiring actress from Oakland and Dorian was a model for Calvin Klein, and the two instantly connected. They had a whirlwind courtship and ended up engaged after only two months.
When the triplets were four Sibyl found that she was pregnant again, this time with Quintuplets. One of Sibyl's friends from her acting days had married a TV Network director, a Mr. Basil Lortie, who suggested that the financially beleagured parents have their own reality TV show about raising their brood. Bills needed to be paid, and Dorian's modeling wasn't bringing in enough money, so the two agreed. Sibyl's mother, Phyllis Sophia Manikas or Nana as the children call her, moved in with the large family after the death of her husband when the quintuplets were six and has been a loving, larger than life fixture ever since.
Last year the show came to an end due to a scandal involving Nana who was caught shoplifting Little Debbies from Kroger. Some viewers believe she was framed, unwilling to accept that such a sweet little old lady is capable of blatant thievery. The end of the show corresponded neatly with the arrival of Baby Grace, an unplanned pregnancy on the part of Dorian and Sibyl (though mercifully Grace decided to come alone.) This timing has only added fuel to the fire of conspiracy theories.
To further complicate a life suddenly and drastically changed from public to private, their mother's younger brother has moved in with the family, having been let go from his job as a general contractor. He greatly despises Dorian, considering him nothing but a pretty face, so his appearance into family life has been nothing if not uncomfortable.

Writing Sample: Celest took a deep breath and slunk down into her chair a little. She was sitting in the principal's office getting scolded for her brother's latest hair-brain scheme. She'd tried to stop them. Oh she'd tried. She'd even physically tried to pull them away...but it was no use. Once again she'd been dragged along and when they got in trouble...so she she. Her parents were starting to think that she was just as bad as her brothers. And further more so was the principal and her teachers. This had to stop. She had to find away to get them in line before they all ended up getting expelled and then the media is even more obsessed with them.
This really was going to be the last time she helped them. She knew that that was what she always said...but this time it was true. She was going to find some new friends. She was going to stop worried about her brothers. She let out a small sigh, knowing that she couldn't just give up on them. She could yell at them all she wanted but they never seemed to listen. It was like talking to a wall. She had to find another way to get through to them. As the principal droned on, Celest was busy thinking about what she could do to make them listen. She tried to think about her books...was there anything in any of the books she read that could inspire an idea? She'd have to spend time in her room referring back to them and seeing is anything clicked.
"Celest..." the principal said. Celest looked up feeling kind of silly. She was pretty sure that he'd said her name more than once and that it was clear that she wasn't listening...why should she listen anyway? She hadn't really done anything wrong...she'd just gotten caught up it the whole thing and had been a casualty. Still, she had to play nice so she didn't get in any more trouble. "Yes?" she asked sweetly, forcing a smile on her lips.
