If you need any illustrator help let me know--not sure how much my help will be considering it would probably be over email/yim, but if you get illustrator and have any questions let me know. I only have CS3 though so if you get CS4, you're on your own 
Illustrator is really easy though--if you can use photoshop you can probably figure it out. But its more drawing and isn't as good for graphics like the ones we make in the game. I have done some backgrounds and such in illustrator though so it can be good for that.
