Shelby tossed her long blonde hair over her shoulder. The locker room still reeked of barnyard, so she'd brought all of her things to the girl's bathroom to change and make herself pretty before heading home. Sure, her plan was home as of now, but who knew who'd she'd run into on the way. Once her appearance fit her standards, she headed out of the bathroom and down the hall. She stopped at her locker briefly to grab her purple Emilio Pucci bag...which on second thought she decided that she shouldn't just leave in her locker. After all, while her locker mate probably didn't know the difference between designer and Walmart, he could be a thief for all she knew. But with her bag in pristine condition, she headed out toward the parking lot, her coordinating purple Yves Saint Laurent heels clacking on the floors as she walked. Once outside, she looked around. This was the part that posed a problem. Shelby might have been a bit old for a freshman as she had turned 15 early on in the year, but it was still a year until she'd be able to drive. She'd often get rides from her brother...but who knew where she was. Plus, she didn't want to risk being seen with her twin who would probably also get a ride from her older brother. That left her friends...or the people Shelby tried to be friends with. She was really one of the few select younger girls that was deemed worthy by the elite. She was seen as the protege...the one who was mostly likely to take over the popular crowd once the other girls graduated. It was an honor really and Shelby took pride in it, sucking up to the popular kids just enough without seeming desperate. Now...if only one of them were around to give her a ride home...because she wouldn't be caught dead standing at a bus stop! Tag Any

Xavier was still amused at the little girl giving HIM advice today, he needed the advice like pro golfer needed tips! He let it slide was walking through the halls when he bumped into a big black girl.
"Woah 'cuse me momma!" He *ahem* joked, not knowing the one he ran into was the one kids called Mom.
She quickly stood and turned and gave him a "Mmm-mmm-mmm!" along with the bobble head. No manners from the kid, she'd have a few words with him. He was quick though but Mom was on his tail.
Xavier found his car and got in, started it up and blared some loud ear drum deafening music. He squealed his tires as he pulled out of the lot noticing the girl from the morning. He honked his horn at her, then blew her and kiss and drove off like a wild man.
Mom was like a determined hunter to find the guy who so rudely ran into her. He was there looking so cock in his damn nice car! She started towards him as he sped off, honking his horn it seemed at some blond girl. Mom shook her head and headed over to the girl, "Now thats something I never thought I'd see, a turkey driving a car!"

The honking of the horn certainly got Shelby's attention. She looked up to see the boy from earlier honking at her. She folded her arms across her chest and gave him a look that showed him she was not amused as he rolled by in his car. She shook her head at him and let out a sigh. So did she have a stalker now or something? She'd never even spoken to the guy before and here he was for the second time today.
A voice behind her called him a turkey and Shelby let out a laugh. "That boy is soooooooo full of himself," Shelby said, a little disgusted at the whole situation. She turned to look at the person who had called him a turkey. Mom, people called her. But Shelby didn't really know her. From what she could tell she was one of those people who kind of got along with everyone. While she wasn't exactly one of the popular girls, she wasn't anyone that got teased of made fun of either. This Mom chick was at least respected by her classmates, which meant she'd be respected by Shelby, unless she pissed her off that is.
"One of the girls on the squad pepper sprayed him in the face yesterday," Shelby said, her voice flat. "I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but from what I can tell, he deserved it," she said, very matter-of-factly. She tossed her hair behind her shoulders and placed her hand on her hip. "I only wish I was the one to do it. But I don't really carry around pepper spray."

"Well, he is certainly full of something," Mom nodded in agreement. "Although, I think there's a lot more of bull to him that what he likes to let on!" There was a mirthful chuckle to her voice.
The flaxen haired girl did seem to know what she was talking about. This lead Mom to one of two conclusions, either she had a run in with him earlier or else she was one to follow the rumor mill and was just repeating what she had heard about him. Mom gave her a fifty-fifty on it.
Mom's jaw dropped slightly in a semi grin. "Thats the kid? I heard about the incident but had no idea who they were talking about." Ideas for a nickname turned about in her head. "I think next time I see him I'll call him Pepper!" She loved that idea and hoped it would get spread about quickly.
"You need a ride anywhere? I have plenty of room in my car, or I should say my father's car." It may have been an odd bond but they did share the same opinion of Xavier, so it was a good start.

"Yeah, tell me about it," Shelby said. She was beyond annoyed with Xavier at the moment. First he hadn't even remembered her from the cheerleading yesterday (which only bothered her because he'd hit on her today) and now he seemed to be stalking her just because his locker was next to hers. And he still thought that he was being cute. Okay, maybe he wasn't the worst to look at but his attitude ruined any physical attributes he might have had.
"Yep, he's the kid," Shelby said. "I was there. Funny to watch too. He pretty much just ran away," she said. "Which served him right because he was totally disrupting practice," Shelby said. "Yeah, Pepper, that will annoy him...I hope," she said. It seemed like nothing got to that kid.
Shelby was surprised when Mom offered her a ride. Had she looked that desperate? Oh well, getting a ride back with this Mom girl was better than taking the bus or stand there looking for handouts. "Yeah, sure, thanks," Shelby said. "I usually get a ride with my brother but I think I missed him today," she told the other girl. Shelby just needed to get home and gather her things and then she'd be getting her parents to drop her off at Jonell's. She was on the other squad but they'd been working together a lot and she and Shelby had sort of clicked. Plus, Shelby was always down to hang out with any of the older girls. Shelby liked to think of herself as better than the other freshmen.
