Arriving at the beach, he locked on to his latest target and smiled. The boy was only a year younger than him but boy did he look so much younger. So innocent. He wondered why Peyton had chosen Dare Madison for him. It took a lot of background checking to make sure he wouldn't step on toes. A vegetarian, the son of a rock god and he was very very vulnerable right now. Isaac had to be gentle with this one. Not too physical...at least not yet.
With a deep breath, Isaac plastered what seemed to be a genuine smile and walked down to where Dare was sitting and looked out at the sea. "Dare...right?" He voiced out.
The afternoon after he had dropped Annie back at school had seemed endless. Syn was home when Dare had gotten there and she couldn't seem to get enough of staring at him with sad dark lined eyes. Eliza watched him as well... but not so obviously. He felt a bit like an exhibit in a zoo, one of those lovely leopards pacing the cage wishing the glass would disappear so you could tear out the throats of his tormentors. After dinner Eliza and Syn both went to take a lie down and Dare made his escape. He got Tony to take him to the pier where a lot of the closed up houseboats were docked for winter. There were only a couple of them that showed any signs of life. Music accompanied him as he walked along the edge of the tide water. He moved farther down till he came to a bit of sand that was barely illuminated by the rising moon and lowered himself to commune with the rhythm of the waves.
His peace was shattered by a voice and he looked up in surprise, his eyes hooded by the dimness. Only his hair seemed to carry its own light, molten silver in the inky night. "Yes... I am Dare. Should I know you?" he asked, his head cocked in inquiry.
"Naww...not really. I just recognised you I suppose." He shrugged and sat down beside Dare, extending his hand in greeting. "I'm from Silver. You make it a habit to be on the beach at night, Dare?"
Dare flashed a smile, very white and very wide. He had a large mouth, but it didn't look bad on him, more like an elf, cheerful and meant for singing and laughter. Tonight though there seemed to be a heavy weight upon him. He gave his hand to the stranger, a delicate hand, long and slender with rough calluses on the finger tips, a musician's hand. "My Dad says I was conceived on the beach... its like returning to the womb I guess. The waves are my mother," he said, wondering what made him confide in this stranger. "What's your name?"
Dare's words did nothing to Isaac. He only had one objective anyway. But of course he had to play the part well. "That's beautiful...you're a musician like your dad..." He used his thumb to gently massage a small bit of Dare's hand before letting it go. Not too much. Not too soon. "I'm Isaac. Isaac Norton." He smiled at Dare before looking out to the dark ocean. "The beach is different at night. The waves crashing actually sound menacing..." Isaac threw out some bullshit he hoped would loosen the boy up.
The rubbing of the other male's thumb against the pads of his palm sent awareness tingling through Dare's untried body. He almost gasped, but managed to catch himself. He had never thought of the waves as menacing, not that he would swim out here in the dark at high tide, but it was a sound that comforted him. He tried listening with someone else's ear and could see how the majesty and power could awe one. "I can see that, but to me She is inspiration," he said smiling. "What makes you come out when She is at her most menacing?" He was interested. It was like people that felt the need to jump from airplanes. What drove them to do it?
Turning his head, he had an urge to tell Dare exactly why but with another smile, he shrugged. "Spose I like to think of myself as a dare devil. What do they call em...? Adrenaline junkies?" He gave a slight cough of laughter. "I mean it's nothing compared to those people who bungee jump or whatever but close enough." He leaned back on the sand, folding his hands and setting it behind his head. "The breeze at night is pretty awesome so I like that."
Dare chuckled at the thought of sitting on the beach at night being as dangerous as jumping from a bridge with an elastic attached to your ankle. He never considered the danger of the people you might meet up with while you were seeking peace and some sort of healing in the dark. Dare leaned back as well, cradling his head in arms folded behind his head. He seemed longer, but even thinner like this, a strip of gleaming skin exposed as his dark tank top pulled up.
The body next to him was warm and very inviting and he was quite lucky Dare was naive enough to be pulled into all this. Isaac turned and propped his head up so he could look down at Dare. "You make it a habit to talk to unknown guys at night on the beach?" He grinned. He was about to make a comment about Dare's mother not teaching him about not talking to strangers when he remembered Dare's mother had passed on. He wasn't known for his tact but even he knew people shouldn't mess about with other people's mothers. "I mean, I'm not going to hurt you but really...would you know that?"
The possibility had never occurred to Dare, despite of years of living with his father's paranoia about what might happen to his son. He sat up, tensing. Isaac was right, the man could be a kidnapper or worse. "I never really thought about it. No unknown guys have ever talked to me on the beach at night before. I should probably go," he said, looking toward the parking lot where he could barely see the gleam of his silver limousine.
"Whoa...hey...chill relax I am a student. I'm from Silver I swear to God. I'm not a kidnapper. Chill...chill." He grabbed Dare's hand and drew soothing circles with his thumb. "Just relax. Like I said, I just recognised you. Seriously, trust me. I'm not going to hurt you," he ventured a slight push of Dare's hair out of his face and smiled. "Come on...would I really ask you that if I was a kidnapper or whatever? I'm too young to be anything right now...right...?"
Dare didn't know about Quenten and Catalina or the fact that Isaac was a student might not have relaxed him, but he didn't know how evil even young people could be. He didn't know so he let Isaac soothe him. The feel of Isaac's fingers in his hair and brushing against his face made him sigh. "Yeah, sorry. I guess my dad's paranoia is infecting me," he whispered, his hand trembling in Isaacs. The other boy was very good looking and it was nice to have someone act attracted to him.
Finally the boy was chilled and he could work his magic further. "Okay...you're sure you're not going to jump around anymore?" he kept his tone light and smiled. He knew he was pushing it but this is for both him and Peyton. Things were going to be interesting if he manages to at least get the boy to kiss him willingly. Now how he was going to do that he wasn't exactly sure. "Okay so...now that we've established that my cuteness is not a reason to panic over, why don't you tell me why you really came here?" His hand unconsciously rubbing against Dare's to calm them down.
The dark hid Dare's blush unless Isaac could feel the temperature change. "My family was driving me crazy, they keep watching me like I am going to do something desperate any moment," he blurted out and then wished he had kept quiet. When you're famous you don't reveal such things or more than likely the entire world would be in your business and god forbid, it might effect record sales. "Just had some family drama and everyone thinks I am just a kid." He hoped that would be enough to stop any questions.
The question was right at the tip of his tongue but he bit it back. No reason to become too attached. There shouldn't be any emotional connection either so Isaac kept quiet. Desperate acts were something Isaac actually knew about, having done some quite desperate acts himself. The scar on his shoulder was evidence enough. "Well you could pass off as a thirteen year old. Obviously that's not your fault. You're just really cute. You gotta hand it to them for being so protective...I'd be protective over you if you were related to me."
Dare knew what he had done was dumb so he accepted what Isaac said. "So I should accept it as an expression of their love and a compliment because I am as cute as a baby's bottom?"he asked, a hint of amusement in his husky voice. He may have had the face of a child, but his voice was mature.
Isaac laughed in amusement. "Actually yes. But enough about that. So you went a little crazy, who hasn't? You shouldn't mope around at dark beaches. You should be getting wasted and hook up with some chick...oh sorry dude...right?" Isaac deliberately made the mistake just to see Dare's reaction.
Dare hesitated a moment, too used to hiding his preferences with strangers to make it automatic. He took a breath and shook his head. "I'm gay," he said, a bit of defensiveness lingering as if he might have to argue over his choice. The whole episode with Phil still twisted inside him like a knife.
"I thought so..." Isaac smiled but something in Dare's voice made him hesitate. It was laughable, Isaac suddenly having morals just because this cute and innocent boy was feeling down about something. "Good for me then." He simply said, sliding his hand over to cover Dare's.
This declaration was almost blatant and Dare felt it stir deep down in his body. He had known he was gay since he was around thirteen. There were always groupies hanging around with the band. He had more than his share of offers even that young and he had looked like a child then, but none of them had tempted him the way the roadies had. Watching them lift and haul speakers and amps had done a lot more to set his heart beating fast than the prettiest girls in the skimpiest clothing. But he had never really thought about the technical parts of his choice, what would go where and how it would feel. Suddenly he was thinking about it and his body was reacting... strongly.
Isaac wasn't the best body reader but he knew the boy was ready to be taken now. All he had to do was be the first one to make a move. So slowly, he turned to face the boy, adjusting his body so Dare was basically in between his legs. He propped one leg up and pushed Dare's hair away with one hand, lightly caressing his cheek. "Do you mind?" Isaac asked as he moved forward.
Dare felt incredibly shy as he shook his head. This was his first kiss and it was someone he barely knew, but he had to start somewhere and it might as well be with this cute boy on a romantic beach in the moonlight. He put his hand on Isaac's waist feeling awkward but needing to try.
Hiding a smile when the boy awkwardly put his hand on Isaac's waist, he pulled Dare towards him and just lightly grazed his lips on the other boy's. Letting him shiver with just that touch.
They barely touched, but the kiss seemed to send electricity coursing through him. He was far too inexperienced to hide the effect Isaac was having on him and he closed his eyes as he felt light-headed and dizzy. His fingers tightened on the the firm waist and he swayed slightly, his brain being oxygen deprived.
When he was sure the boy was good with it, Isaac deepened the kiss and smiled against Dare's soft lips. His hand ran down Dare's spine before sliding it under his shirt, feeling the warm skin under his calloused hands. Giving out a slight moan, he pushed his tongue against Dare's lips, seeking entrance.
Dare couldn't help but moan with Isaac, his lips parting to allow him entrance. The shared kiss was so much more than he expected. His breathing quickened and he collapsed beneath the larger boy, his arm no longer seeming to have the strength to support him.
He had to smile in triumph when Dare fell back. Isaac moved over on top of Dare and deepened the kiss. The hand that had been under Dare's shirt moved even further up, sliding over the boy's chest before resting. "You're pretty good for a first timer." He said without thinking. He wasn't supposed to have said anything about Dare being a virgin. That was supposed to just remain unsaid. Why did he say it?
Dare whimpered as Isaac covered him and then stiffened. "How did you know I have never done this before?" he asked suspiciously. He didn't think he was doing so badly that it would be obvious just from kissing. His hands moved up to push against Isaac's chest. "I know that is not in the newsrags. Most of them act like I am with a different girl every weekend."
"Uh..." Isaac shrugged. "You just don't seem to be the type to experienced..." Even he heard the lie in his voice. He tried to kiss Dare again, his hand roaming about Dare's body again.
Dare frowned and tried to push Isaac away again, his voice rising. "I don't want this, get off of me!" he demanded, getting frightened and belligerent. There was something not right and as good as the roaming hand felt on his aroused body, he didn't want to be used by a stranger. He began to struggle harder when Isaac didn't roll off him immediately.
"Whoa...hey come on...what happened? You were feeling good weren't you?"
"That doesn't make this right. A kiss is one thing, but I don't even know you," Dare said indignantly trying to fight the hands that seemed to be everywhere at once. He was annoyed with himself for despite his fear and anger, his body still responded. "Leave me alone!" he yelled and began to hit at Isaac as hard as he could. Unfortunately Dare was not a fighter and never had been so, it wasn't very effective.
With a deep breath, Isaac plastered what seemed to be a genuine smile and walked down to where Dare was sitting and looked out at the sea. "Dare...right?" He voiced out.
