Quick Escape (Jade: Tag Jeremy)

The final bell going made him yelp for joy which had most of the class staring at him, which had the joyous advantage of him getting out before any one else in the class room, he made quick work of getting to the locker he shared with someone he had yet to meet properly anyway. Grabbing what he wanted and needed from his locker he headed for the parking lot. He had one more surprise for Jeremy today, and it was his last moment of control until Monday. He knew it was something that any petrol head would giv his right arm to do.

He headed out into the parking lot finding the cook who had brought said surprise to him.

"Thanks Gabriel, I know this is way out of your way." Jade said to the man who shook his head and handed him everything he had asked for.

"Your welcome Mr. Edwards, we will make sure everything is ready for the party on Monday." Gabriel said as he handed him the keys. "Have a good weekend." the man added before getting into a waiting taxi.

"Now all I need is a suitably on time boyfriend to show up then we can get out of here." Jade said looking at his watch, he was most definitely looking forward to getting out of here.

Jeremy kept watching the clock. Why was it the last five minutes always went the slowest? Finally the bell went off! Jeremy was off like a flash! He wove through the masses of kids all chattering, happy the weekend was here finally, but they weren't going to be having the time he would be having!

Jeremy got to his locker and made a quick deposit of what he didn't need for the weekend. He quickly slammed the locker door shut and slid on his sunglasses, in seventh heaven. He did wonder if Julia was going to be on her best behavior tonight with he and Jade at the dinner table, there would be enough worry about that later.

He headed out to his car and threw his backpack in the trunk and went to find Jade. He found him standing nearby with something in his hands.

"A boyfriend on time? You must be waiting for someone else then!" Jere teased him before giving him a kiss. "Is this something for me? You really didn't have to do this you know." Jeremy smiled at him, having someone spend money on him was something Jeremy was still new too.

"So you ready to go?"

Jade grinned at him, "Well now that you mention it I did get a call from hollywood today asking me if I was interested in some one tall dark and handsome." Jade said playfully. "Your gift is in the car." Jade added with a smile as he extended his hand with the keys in it. "No I didn't buy you a car, I think I'd probably get murdered by your dad if I did." Jade said to him. "I had my car dropped of by a member of staff from the house, I thought that since I have no use of it for the next few weeks anyway. That maybe as a treat this weekend you would like to make use of it, with you driving it that is." Jade said having learned the hard way not to drive himself at the moment. "Of course this is optional, but I thought that maybe you'd like the chance to be seen driving her." Jade said kissing him.

It was a pretty big step for Jade to allow someone other than himself to drive his baby, but he didn't see the point in having a car like that and not driving it somewhere. Jeremy was about the only person he trusted enough to even let near his baby to drive it anyway.

"I know your a much more careful driver than either me of Alex, so I know I don't have to be worried about getting it back in one piece." Jade said to him with a soft smile. "Of course if you want to take your car I won't be offended as I love that car. I just thought you might like an option." Jade told him almost wishing he had a soft top version of the car so he could be seen with the hottest guy in school.

"Hmm well two out of three aren't bad." He smiled and admired Jade for a moment, he felt lucky. Jere just froze for a moment. "You mean your trusting me behind the wheel of the Merce?" This was a big step in a boyfriend situation, at least in Jere's mind this was a step below picking out rings and registering at some big named store.

"You bet I'd love to drive this baby." He had to keep himself from drooling as the keys were handed over. He pressed a button and watched as the doors opened. "I feel like I should be on 'Hollywood Vice Squad'. I'm the handsome but tough as nails detective." He gave a cheeky grin as he put his backpack tenderly in the back.

"So with me driving does the radio rule apply? I made a disc last night of some 90's dance music, I picked the ones I thought had a good thumpa-thumpa beat to them." He hoped he knew the style of music Jade enjoyed. "I think we should cruise West Hollywood in this, really turn the heads of guys." He wouldn't cheat on Jade but the two together could probably really heat up a few guys.

Jade smiled at him, "First things first this isn't just a merc its a McLaren, think sports car on steroids. Your car is powerful sure, but you don't need to put down half as much power in this thing to get it going, if you put as much power down in this thing as you do in your impaler your going to get a ticket. Just take it easy with her until you feel confident, that you can handle the pressure this thing throws at you and you will be absolutely fine." Jade said with a grin. He didn't get how American's could watch NASCAR but couldn't bare most of them anyway, to watch F1 here was a car that's pedigree was the McLaren F1 the most beautiful car he had ever seen. Jeremy calls it a Merc, dear god someone needs to educate him he thought with amusement.

"Hollywood vice and the handsome cop, does that mean I get to do my Al Pacino impression and be the nasty gangster. Or does that mean I get to play the old cop who is just to old to do much running, or the fat cop?" he asked with a grin. "If we have some time, we can go take her out for a spin." Jade said to Jeremy. "Up to you, I mean sure enough you have all day tomorrow to drive her around. Well almost all day when you consider what we have planned." Jade said to him with a grin. "Just one thing you have to promise me, besides not to crash her, you need to enjoy her so don't worry yourself to much. I trust you with my other baby." Jade told him.

"Driver priviliges apply so long as I am not listening to garage for the next twenty four hours, not in this car anyway. I'll be interested to see just how much you know about my musical tastes though." he said to him. "I am your prisoner for the next two days, please have mercy on me." Jade said pleadingly with puppy dog eyes.

"Forgive me, I just forgot myself for a short time there." Jere laughed a little. "I will treat him with the utmost respect. Maybe even more than I respect you." He winked at Jade. He gently leaned to the car and whispered, "Be gentle with me, it's my first time."

"Nah, your the young rookie cop, ready to make his first bust. Someone has to be the eye candy for any younger viewers." This imagination was starting to wander away from him now. "I was thinking after dinner we could do take a spin around the town. Just one thing, flirting is ok just no inviting other guys to follow along." He got in the car just to get used to the driver's seat. "I'll be honest, the day at Disney is just that it takes an entire day to get through the park. Then there's the fireworks at the end of the night, weather allowing." Jere knew quite well how temperamental the weather could be for the nightly events. "You have made yourself a deal mister."

"Well there goes the ABBA CD's then." Jeremy joked with him. "I'm rather eclectic in music so its going to vary on any handmade discs. "Get in here and I promise I'll be good to you."

Jade looked at him for a moment before crossing to the passenger side of the car, "Abba have you been talking to my sister again?" he asked politely. "Because seriously if your listening to my sisters take on my musical tastes you may want to have words with her. I like most kinds of music excluding trashy pop and camp pop, as bi as I am that sort of stuff doesn't really interest me. When I was a kid it was pretty much all we listened to, but well Al and I have since rebelled." Jade added. "I'm sure what ever you subject me to will be fine though." he told him as he slipped into the car and did the seat belt on his side up.

He opened the glove compartment to get at his boiled sweets, and plopped on in his mouth before putting them in the slot between the two seats. "Help yourself, this is my secret stash of sweets, I have to keep them hidden in my car or Brad nicks them and his not actually allowed to eat them." Jade said as an afterthought. "Nothing better for a drive than something to suck on." he said only thinking after ward that it was pretty suggestive. "This isn't going to cause any issues for you with your parents right? I mean to say that leaving your car in the lot over the weekend will they freak?" he asked.

"Well ok, granted they pop up here and there. You won't be subjected to their music all the time." Jeremy laughed. "I'll give you warning though, I do have some country on my discs but none of that sappy stuff or the die hard 'I Am American' stuff." There was only so much of that a person could take.

"I think this first one you might like, I did something sneaky a few months ago. I recorded the entire of The Haunted Mansion at Dland. Its one of my favorite rides." Then he remembered about the elevator part of it. "I should warn you, when it starts you go into this big elevator with no doors or windows. It doesn't last long in there, just enough to give a good scare so the girls can hold onto their boyfriends oh and scream like its sooo scary!" He rolled his eyes.

"Ohh those look good!" He took one and popped it in his mouth and nearly choked when Jade made his suggestion. He was able to recover quickly. "Don't worry about it, I'll call it even with my dad. If I know him, while dinner is cooking, he'll be digging out my baby photos. God I hope he doesn't show the one from Halloween of '96." He sighed.

Jade listened to Jeremy describe one of the rides to him, with a faint smile, it seemed to him that Jeremy was looking forward to the day out tomorrow. A lot more than himself anyway, he was more looking forward to spending the day with Jeremy than at the actual theme park. The adrenaline boost was just an added bonus. "I'm sure the rides will be great, I'm just glad the week is over. I plan on making use of the next three days well two and a bit days." Jade said. "You me, no siblings to drive us stir crazy, no school. Well okay no Alex to drive me stir crazy your sister is cool, so is your dad from the few times I've met him." Jade added with a grin.

Jade laughed, "Embarrassing baby photo's, I'd be curious as to would kill your dad first you or your sister. I promise I'll be kind, as I'm pretty sure that at some point my mother will do exactly the same thing with my baby photo's." Jade said. "I'll be kind to you if you promise that when the time comes your be kind to me." Jade told him with a grin. "Besides thats what parents are for right, to embarrass the hell out of us when we are teenagers." he added. "I'm sure I can match you for embarrassing photo's, Alex and I used ot get put in some of the most rediculus things when we were little. I think mom took pleasure making sure we matched in every way imaginable. Its probably why we coordinate so hard now, so we don't leave the house in the same clothes." Jade added wrinkling his nose in disgust at certain memories.

"I'm looking forward to dinnner, I don't know about you but I could eat a horse." Jade said to Jeremy.
