[Character: Raven Manning]
What a god damn day. Yes she could officially curse at god, for letting this awful thing happen to her. Granted it was her fault, but blaming God at the moment seemed like a better choice. She would blame the pope if she could. Just because it beat blaming herself. However the earlier confrontation with Isaiah how she whispered in his ear, and the reaction, she could not help but smile. Perhaps there was more use for him. Messing with Isaiah did seem to brighten her day, because in some sick way she claimed Isaiah to be hers to mess with. After all they kind of were connected now, assuming she had the baby, which she was still against abortion, but adoption was a very real possibility.
Really the game to play now was how long she could hide said pregnancy from her father, who the moment he found out would show Raven the door telling her she had two options and they were to pack up and leave or be kicked out. Either option ended with the same result. Raven would be homeless unless she found a way to have this child under the radar. Which was much easier said then done obviously. she might have a flat stomach now, but in a few months her figure would be bigger and she could not blame a sudden case of getting fat.Her father was not stupid.
Raven had decided against going home. Her father was probably at some church function anyway. Its where he spent his days. Preaching to the people about morals he never followed and sins he too participated in. Raven opted for a walk along the pier. It was a nice night and perfect for a walk. Plus she had a car so she was snot stranded. Besides it kept her from going home any sooner. What was she going to do? Her future plans were unraveling slowly. Thoughts bounced around inside Raven's head.
What happened if she got accepted into Princeton, or Notre dame. How would she handle this. However, Raven knew what was in her immediate future. It was called giving back lunch. Didn't morning sickness know it was not morning. Raven found the nearest trashcan and gave back her lunch. Once she was finished giving up the contents of her stomach Raven wiped her mouth with a tissue from her purse then took out some mouth wash she learned to carry with her now.
"That was so unappealing." She said as she finished with the mouth wash ans backed away from the trashcan, not knowing someone was behind her.

He stood on the pier watching the people around him, it was not dark by any means and the weather wasn't all that bad, well it was probably atrocious for LA. He didn't really know for sure, it was still all to new for him in this part of the world. Anyway he was stood watching the people around him with interest, he had asked his driver to drop him of here as he didn't want to go home just yet. The man had asked whether or not he had enough money to get himself back by taxi, or whether he should stick around and await for him to need to be picked up.
While watching he spotted someone he thought looked familiar to him, probably someone from school puking into a trash can, maybe she had eaten a dodgy hot dog or something similar. Around here that probably wasn't beyond the realm of possibility he thought to himself, you never brought food if you didnt know for sure where the hell it came from. Around here it could be a rat burger for all you knew and he was just thinking about the meat.
He headed towards said girl who looked like she was still recovering from her puking session, intent on making sure she was okay or whether their was anything he could do. As he got closer he put a name tentatively to the face.
"Hey Raven, I saw you hugging the trash can, so I came over to see if you were okay." he said with a worried look.

Raven turned around and looked at Casper. Now this got more embarrassing and Raven did not like embarrassment. She walked away from the trashcan and over to Casper Did he suspect? He better not. Raven knew Casper as one of the nice guys from Gould. Silver had been at Gould long enough and Raven made sure to know the cute, nice guys she could play with...like Isaiah, even if that had been partly Sloane's doing. Sloane picked the guy, but Raven set the standards the guy had to fit.
Raven put some gum in her mouth. The mouth wash might have gotten rid of the taste, but gun was added for extra measure. You never could tell. She needed to know if this guy suspected anything. So she lied to see if he would call her on it. "Yeah next time remind me to forget the cafeteria food even if I forget my lunch. I will stick to vending machines next time I leave my lunch at home." It seemed believable enough. In Raven's mind it worked and Casper had better believe it.
Finally Raven turned to eye Casper. He was a younger guy, which was not bad. He was only a junior. "No blond today. I heard you were seen chatting up some blond from Silver." Rumors were rumors. The school words fast. Anyone could see you talking to someone else and the next day the rumor was all around school. Her stomach was finally settling hopefully. "To bad this was not yesterday, I could have skipped Friday all together." She said with a slight laugh, referring to she should of had 'food poisoning' on Thursday to skip Friday.

He let it slide, no one else he knew had come down with food poisoning from the cafeteria. It was not however his place to point it out to Raven, no matter how much he might want to. Someone's private life was their own, he didn't like when people tried to pry into his own life. So why would he do that to someone else, if she wanted to tell him what was going on she would and he would not tell another.
"When you eat Cafeteria food you take your life into your own hands, I try to avoid it when ever possible. Rumour has it that the food at Silver when its open isn't much better than that of Gould. Maybe they get their food supplys from the same supplier, it might explain everything." Casper said to her with a smile.
The fact that people were talking about him and who he was talking to annoyed the hell out of him, the some what private and maybe just a little bit shy boy hated people watching him. Shame really when you consider who his father was and what his function was in the USA. Caspers annoyance flashed across his face before it was hidden again.
"I didn't realise that my movements were that closely watched, I will have to watch out for that in future." Casper said to her. "Friday's are the best day of the week, well friday at three is I think the best time of the week. That is when we are all heading home for the weekend, there is nothing wrong with that right?" Casper asked her.

"I think they need to make a sign about that> Warning: cafeteria food is meant to kill you." Raven said with a shake of her head. Good, he was going along with it, or at least believed her. Raven was not in the mood for evil plotting at the moment, or else she might have to use this nice guy in one of her schemes. But her energy was zapped. She just wanted to lay down and rest. It had to be from the stress of the day.
Her life use to be stress free, not a care in the world. Now she had a stupid bug growing inside of her because of a stupid bet, and a stupid mistake. Wonderful. The worst possible person in the world was going to be blessed with motherhood. The child really would be better off getting adopted, but the problem was Raven was not sure she could just hand over her child. However, there was no need to think like that. For now she was going to deny it all.
"People have way to much time on their hands. I guess knowing who talked to whom is way more fun then say actually doing something fun, like bowling, or drinking, or playing games. I do not care who talked to whom, or who kissed who. I would rather be engrossed in nice company, conversation, and some activity that is not boring as hell." She told Casper. "I like Fridays cause it means no curfew, sleeping in, and having fun. So basically you are right. What are you up to this evening?"

He smiled as she commented about activities that weren't boring as hell, "I get that, I've been forced to attend more than a few family events or dinners to do with my fathers job. Their are times I'm looking for the nearest exit, or I get the oddest craving for a cigarette and I have never smoked in my life." Casper said to her with a shrug as if it didn't really bother him all that much, though the lime light was something that he detested from time to time that meant that he nicked a cigarette of one of his minders. They really didn't seem to mind keeping secret his need from time to time that he needed a destresser in the way of a fag.
He was a little taken aback about being asked what he was doing that night, after being told that people were gossiping about him he was not inclined to divulge any of his true plans, though he didn't have any for the evening. He was just planning on having a slasher movie fest, he'd work out the rest of his weekend tomorrow, it probably involved a lot of surfing and being at the beach.
"Probably just going to catch a movie or two locally, nothing real important. Just a quiet evening, before the chaos of two parties this weekend both of which I plan on attending. So I guess shopping for a suit or outfit is in my near future." he said to her. "What about you? You must have some sort of interesting plans for the weekend." he asked her.

"My dad is always trying to drag me to church functions. He says I need to set an example, since I am the Reverend's daughter." Raven rolled her eyes. It was a load of BS is what it was. Her father was filled with a bunch of crap like that. It was always about how she could be better, a better kid, a better daughter, a better everything, even better in school. Cause anything below and A was not acceptable to Reverend Manning. "But I highly doubt you care to hear about my father, I don't want to even hear about him. And I live with the man."
Raven and her dad had a rocky relationship at best and that was putting it lightly. After all how could she be a model daughter now. The moment he found out about her child, she was out on the street. "So i understand the odd feeling of need a break." She told him. It was true, if only she could take a break from life, it would be so much easier.
"Surprisingly besides the brunch tomorrow, nothing is on my list. Then again I tend to always find a way to entertain myself.... sometimes the most fun a person has is when its unplanned...To be honest I never really thought ahead to my weekend. I got a tad distracted this week. Its as if all my teachers ganged up and decided this is the week they would pile on homework." That was not completly true either, she had been distracted cause she found out she was pregnant.

He listened to her speak about her father without comment, it wasn't that he didn't have something to say he just didn't think it wise to speak about his family in that tense. What he implied was one thing but actually coming out and saying it to someone he didn't really know was another matter. If it could be used against him later he would always air on the side of caution, he really didn't know who to trust yet... girls of any discription had a tendancy to gossip or spread rumours.
"As interesting as it can be to bitch about ones family, it might not be the best conversation to have out in public." he said diplomatically.
When Raven turned the subject to classes and homework he was amazed at the fact that she didn't think that home work would pile up for seniors this close to graduation amazed him. He wasn't a geek but he made sure to keep on top of his home work, he knew that by this time next year he would likely have the same problem Raven had. He would be stressed out beyond believe, but he wouldn't be surprised in the same way that Raven seemed to him to be. Of course he had no idea whether he would actually be in LA by this time next year, his father may decide to move them to New York or somewhere else closer to his work than La.
"It sounds like something teachers would do to stress out their students, what with being a senior and all, you probably have other things to worry about." he said making it sound like he understood what the girl was going on about which of course he really didn't.
