Text Message to Thad from Fallon

When Thad checks his phone he will have this pleasant text from Fallon....

"Oh dear brother...Ez came to find me...told me what happened....now you tell me...whats this about demons...he is not summoning demons Thadeous.....what the heck gave you that idea...."

Fallon felt her phone buzz and pulled it out to check it. She looked at what Thad said and could not help wondering what he meant by ppl doing things to Sebastian. Fallon quickly sent a text back.

"What do u mean? What did ppl do to him? Don't keep a secret Thad!"

There wasn't a succint way to put his news, and enlightening his sister via text seemed so impersonal. He leaned against his locker, determinedly tapping out a few small words:

Fallon read the message from Thad and quickly stood up from where she was sitting and walked out of the cafeteria. She threw out her lunch except some Oreo cookies and a coke. She walked briskly to her locker wondering what Thad could have to tell her. This whole thing was bugging the heck out of her. What bad people? What was going on? Fallon was a typical teenager and needed to know everything that was going on. She hated to be left out of the loop.

Fallon rounded the corner to get to Thad's locker. She spotted him immediately. It was hard to miss her brother. Although she was a tad mad at him for what Ezzie said, but she was always happy to see her brother. Ezzie had been vague about what she said, but she said enough, and now Fallon would hear it from Thad's mouth hopefully, what the heck was going on...

Fallon ran the last few steps to Thad and hugged him tightly. "Oh dear brother of mine, what is going on now? Tell me and the cookies are yours." She said with a wide grin as she handed the cookies over to Thad anyway. "So tell me..what was with the text message..." Fallon gave her brother a concerned look and leaned against the locker next to him.

Thad snatched the cookies out of Fallon's hand, devouring them as though he'd just survived a sugar famine. "He ran off!!" He informed her through a mouth full of oreos. "We was all gettin' cotton candy, then he got mad an' then Roxy an' Ezzy made me go away an' then I dunno what Taxi an' Izzy were doin', but he ran off on 'em. We were jus' tryin' to help." He added indignantly.

"Oh! Yeah, so, see, I wan'ed Taxi to help, 'cause he's all smart an' stuff? But he don' want our help. Sebastian, I mean, he got real offended 'bout it. Taxi says demon summonin' is bad, so we tried to tell 'im, but it didn' go over real well." He explained, then remembered that Fallon had wanted to know about the text he'd sent about bad people and Sebastian.

"See, he ain't got no father right now, right?" He asked anxiously, peering into Fallon's eyes with greatest concern. "Cause this father guy, I don't think it were really his father, someone supposed to help 'im, he uhh kinda uhhh." The Freshman took a fortifying breath before continuing in a rapid whisper, "hedidrealbadthingstoimanSebastianismadcausenowheknowsIreadisdiaryanIjuswan'edtohelpcauseit'srealbadanIthinksomeotherpeoplewithimwerehurtto."

He exhaled slowly and opened his eyes once more. "Don't tell 'im I said nothin'." He implored, "He were mad enough already, an' I don't think he much liked the idea of hirin' the mafia to kill the bad guys off."

Most people could not understand Thad, but Fallon could, and Si. Not even their mothers could understand Thad. Fallon listened as he went on saying one long sentence with no breath. "Okay...take a breath before you suffocate." She said with a laugh. Yes she understood overawed. He read Sebastian's diary, and something bad happened to Sebastian. Someone hurt him, a father figure. Things started to click. Fallon was not sure of the extent, but she guessed that an adult took advantage of Sebastian.

Now Fallon was not sure how, or what happened, but thats what she gathered. "Thad you never should have read his diary. You know that." She warned him. "But thanks for being honest with me." She was glad he had not lied or anything. Not that Thad would lie to her. Why would he? "Listen no more demon talk around him okay. He must be very sensitive about this stuff. Let me talk to him okay." She said with a hint of concern in her own voice.

Fallon ruffled Thad's hair, "You are too curious for your own good." He said with a smirk. She eyed her brother and gave him a hug, "But you were being a good friend...you and your demons. Are you and Si sill on that? You know demon summoning is all talk right..." At least in Fallon's mind it was.
