This is Shayne. Sebastian left his phone at home today, and I happened on your number. The school called me at work earlier today and told us that Sebastian wasn't at his second or third hours, and I obviously don't know where he could be at. Do you know where he could be?
He's a big boy, and I know he can take care of himself. But I'm a bit worried. In many ways, he's still like a child.
Tell me if you know anything.

Fallon had been hunted down by Ezzie who told her about the cotton candy fiasco an about Thad, demons, and Sebastian getting pissed. Typical Thad never knew when to stop. It was a charmin, but annoying trait in her brother.
When Fallon checked her phone she saw she had a message from Sebastian and smiled, but only when she read it, it was from Shayne and Fallon was worried. Why had he not returned with the others. Fallon was about to ask Ezzie, but she disappeared. So Fallon texted back...
"He went with some people to get cotton candy at the Peir...I have not seen him, I can check the school for him....Fal."

He had returned. While his first impulse had been to flee to the darkest corners of the earth following Thad's betrayal of trust, Sebastian Flambert quickly realized -- after several hours of wandering aimlessly in downtown Los Angeles -- that survival would be very difficult to attain for a sixteen-year-old boy outfitted with only a blue blanket and twenty dollars, and opted to return home. A severely distressed mother awaited him, flinging her arms in a tight embrace before shaking the boy wildly in a mixture of anger and relief. Unsure of what to say, he kept silent.. -------------------------------------------------------- He found his BlackBerry on his desk, next to an open diary. A rush of emotion flooded through him once more as he realized yet another human soul had stumbled upon his personal thoughts, bringing him back down to square one. Fallon.A twinge of guilt ran through his spine. Undoubtedly, she would have already heard of the pier incident through Thad, and also would be worried about his well being. After a few moments of hesitation, he took the BlackBerry in his hand and punched in a quick text for the girl.
