The talk with Trixie made Nolan think. Maybe he was over-reacting to everything. Sloane liked him, that much was obvious, and she took his ring. He wasn't sure if she had ever really dated anyone before, so perhaps Nolan just weirded her out by coming on so strong. There was a lot about the girl he still didn't really know and that was as much his fault as it was anyone's. The workout had been just what Nolan needed, and his head felt much clearer, thanks in part to Trixie.
After a quick shower, Nolan left the rec center and drove home. He was so anxious to get a hold of Sloane he didn't realize it was nearly 9:30 at night when he got home. Still, he walked in the door, set down his keys, and opened up his phone. In moments, the phone was ringing.
The night had gone according to plan and Sloane found herself with a date for the parties and she wasn't even worried that she might have a hard time trying to hide one date from the other. She was just surprised it had been easy on her to get two people to really like her in a short space of time. True, it was cocky of her to think so since there were so many factors that could lead to a potentially hazardous blow up that her dream the other night had probably predicted.
As she was driving home, her phone rang. Having blasted the stereo right after she dropped May off at her house, Sloane lowered the volume before sticking her earphone into her ear to answer the call. Without even checking to see who it was, Sloane gave the caller her usual greeting.
"Make it quick, I don't have a lot of time." She drove past a red light and ignored the blaring horns that came after as she passed Santa Monica Boulevard.
“Umm, okay,” Nolan replied, a bit shocked. It was not the greeting he was expecting. Perhaps he had been getting the wrong impression. “Sorry to bother, but I was just seeing what you were up to tonight?” Nolan's normally steady voice faltered a little. Though he usually gave off a confident aura, it was obvious he was a bit timid when it came to girls.
Nolan's voice made Sloane smirk and she changed her tone. "Hey you...sorry. Didn't check caller ID." She said smoothly. She was wondering when the boy was going to call. Better late than never. She took a quick turn around and drove in the direction of Nolan's house, somehow knowing what this call was for. "Just came back from dinner. Heading home actually, what's up?" She asked, playing things cool. A driver lifted his middle finger to her when she surpassed him and she shook her head in amusement.
Nolan's chest untightened as Sloane's attitude changed. It was an incredible relief to him. “Nothing, really. Just wanted to hang out, maybe watch a movie or something?” Nolan moved into the living room, his body still a bit tired from the workout. Still, just thinking of Sloane gave him such a rush of adrenaline he didn't feel like plopping down on the couch just yet. “I dunno if anything good's on, you wanna just grab a movie and come over?”
A movie? Really? She raised a perfectly arched eyebrow at the statement but kept quiet about it. "I'm not too good at picking DVD's. Maybe we'll just grab one from your collection. I'm sure you've got a good one." Showing weakness and stroking the ego in one smooth move. She wasn't so bad at this.
"But...I don't think I'll be doing much concentrating on the movie with you so close to me..." her voice dropped an octave, perfecting the sultry tone her husky voice permitted her to execute.
Nolan felt a little silly. He wasn't too interested in watching a movie, but he knew that was one of the best ways to make out with a girl. Sloane obviously saw through it, but luckily for him, she seemed into the idea. Nolan tried to think of what movies they had in his house. Not many, that was for sure. His father mostly had game tapes, his favorite being Adam's first college start. Nolan also spent little time watching actual movies. If he screened anything, it was usually opponent's games, trying to watch their defense.
“I don't have many movies, but there might be some in Marty's old room. Or whatever's On Demand on cable, I guess. I'm sure we can find something.” Nolan could help but smile at the thought. The movie didn't matter at all.
She took a sharp turn, getting even more honks from various drivers. She couldn't care. She was finally getting somewhere with the boy she put so much time and effort on. Once she cracked Nolan, she was ready to get down to business with May and her several other conquests after the two. She couldn't wait.
"Yeah...I'm sure we could." She said with a devilish smirk in her tone. She didn't even wait for Nolan to say goodbye and she hung up the phone, stepping on the gas straight to her lover boy's mansion.
Knocking on the door, she leaned against the door frame and waited for him to answer.
A pounding came from the front door. Nolan jumped up from his position on the couch, straining his butt wound slightly. It was almost healed, and he was very thankful it was so minor. Sure, at the time it had seemed absolutely horrible, but it only took a few stitches and he was just fine.
He padded to the door, his hair still slightly damp from the shower. He was glad he decided to take one at the gym and not at home. He wouldn't have had time for it at all. The door opened and Nolan smiled when he saw his girl casually waiting for him.
Turning at the sound of the door opening, a lazy smile spread upon her lips before she traipsed up into the house and pecked Nolan's chin as she leaned into his warm body. "Hey gorgeous," she murmured against his skin. He smelled of soap and something else...something she liked. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "So...what do you have planned for us?" She looked around to see if anyone was home. It was hard to tell since the place was enormous anyway.
Nolan happily received the kiss, wrapping his arms around her as she leaned into him. Her warmth pressed onto his chest and his heart once again started to pick up. “There's some decent stuff on cable, if that's cool. Have you seen Quarantine? I've heard that's pretty good.” Nolan had been specifically looking for horror movies, something that might make Sloane want to hold him all the more. But he had not thought the night through, and now that Sloane was here he wasn't even sure that any movie watching might happen.
Hardly listening to a word he said, she slid her hand into his and asked him to guide them to his TV room. She had heard of the movie but wasn't too sure about the genre. She liked her horror just fine but it also meant Nolan thought she was easily scared. She was sure Nolan wasn't the type to be insulting in any way. Shaking the thought away, she shrugged. "I can't remember titles. We'll just watch it and see if I like it. Is it about zombies in that one building or something?" She asked, vaguely remembering the plot of the mentioned movie.
Plopping down on the couch, her eyes followed Nolan's every move, scrutinizing the way he was careful with his wound that still reminded her of how he had boldly albeit stupidly saved her life that day, and god damn the boy was fine.
"I'm sure whatever it is, it's good."
“Yeah,” he said as he sat down a bit more gingerly than Sloane had. “That's what I heard. But I'm not sure what it's about.” Nolan wasn't even sure who had told him it was good, but he had heard it recommended and he knew it was supposed to be scary, and that's all he really cared about. He leaned back on the side of the couch, away from Sloane, and grabbed the remote he had left on the end table. He reached out, pressed a few buttons, and momentarily the movie was starting. He looked back at Sloane, basking in her beauty. He smiled, realizing that he rarely smiled unless the girl was around. It was starting to feel comfortable.
Not realizing how the boy was feeling, all Sloane was thinking about was how far he was. Remedying the situation by moving close, Sloane pulled Nolan's arm around her and nestled herself in between his arm and chest. She froze momentarily before realizing how comfortable she was in this position. It was beyond the physical touch, it was somehow even more intimate. What was she thinking and why was she thinking it?
Deciding it was a dangerous path to go down, she slowly moved her fingers on Nolan's toned chest.
Nolan's breath escaped his chest as Sloane's fingers gave him tingles all over. Words were no longer necessary as he leaned forward, sitting up, bringing the pair even closer together. He could smell the intoxicating fragrance of her hair. It reminded him of how she had smelled a few nights ago when he had given her his ring, and of other things that occurred that night. His heart was beating like a drum, and he could no longer wait. The movie was entirely forgotten as he leaned in and kissed Sloane lightly on the forehead. His kisses moved down her cheek, then to her neck, below her ear, then finally back to her lips. He moaned slightly, holding the kiss for even longer, enjoying her taste.
When Nolan reciprocated her first move, Sloane couldn't help the smirk that carved its way on to her lips. She got him right where she wanted. Boys were just way too easy. All she had to do was be herself and they flounced by the dozen. It sure didn't hurt that Nolan was beyond talented with his mouth.
Every place he touched with those pair of lips burned and intensified her need for more. Holding back her breath several times, it took her only a moment to realize that things were starting to heat up. The screams from the TV were quickly forgotten and within moments, Sloane was straddling Nolan with her hands making their way across the bare skin under his shirt. Biting back a moan, Sloane's hair tickled Nolan's face as she deepened the kiss.
Offering up more of her lips, Sloane slid on to his lap, straddling him. Her fingers ran through his hair, massaging his scalp. A soft moan escaped her lips and a shiver ran along her spine. Her body was reacting a bit too eagerly towards his ministrations as she pushed herself closer against his body.
Pulling away just to look at his flushed face and push her hair out of her face over her shoulder. Smirking, she pulled down again to press her lips on to his, sliding her tongue into his mouth. Things were heating up and she felt triumphant. She pulled his shirt up and ran her palm up his taut torso. It felt good under her hands...warm.
Goosebumps rose across Nolan's skin though he felt as if the room were getting much much warmer. He was enjoying the girl immensely, and his mind drifted to what may come. If it were anything like the last time he was with Sloane, it would be a good night. If it were even more...
Nolan pulled away for a moment, and though it seemed like he was just coming up for air panic raced through his head. What if Sloane wanted more this evening? He had a good idea the girl was no virgin, and it was obvious she was more versed in the bedroom arts than he was. But he had no protection, had not even thought about it. Sex, actual sex, was something entirely new for Nolan. It was something he had talked with his brothers about quite a bit, but never actually realized. And the panic wasn't from being afraid of under-performing, but from the fear of what would happen afterwards. If Nolan heard right, Sloane would be out the door instantly. But then again, if those rumors were true Sloane wouldn't even still be around. Nolan's heart was now racing, but because of two entirely separate reasons.
He continued the kissing, though his mind was less focused. Like the ring and the jacket, sex would mean that Sloane and Nolan were together, completely. In that moment, Nolan wanted nothing else more than that. He resolved to himself that if it came to it, tonight would be the night he lost his virginity.
When she couldn't hold herself back any longer, Sloane pulled away and got off Nolan to look at him with glazed eyes. "You didn't call me to watch a movie..." she shaped her smile to be something sincere with a hint of shyness. "Why don't you show me exactly why you asked me to come here?" Her voice was raspy and filled with anticipation.
The last thing that Nolan wanted to appear as was over eager, but his body was practically shaking with excitement. What he really wanted was to grab Sloane and pull right back on top of him, but he knew better. Plus, if he were to stay on the sofa all night his dad might come home and see them. He was not overprotective by any means, at least not with his sons, but he also demanded respect, and this was an expensive couch. “You know where my room is,” Nolan smirked, trying his best to act cool and ignore the pounding of his heart. “Don't make me chase you.”
His words gave her shivers for all the right reasons and she slowly pulled her shirt off her body, revealing her purple and black lace bra that showed her cleavage rather enticingly. "Oh but what fun would it be if I just gave in to you, Nolan?" Her look was dangerous. Those who know her would understand what that look meant. It was practically predatorial.
Licking her lips, she threw her t-shirt to Nolan before turning around and walking to Nolan's room, leaving an article of clothing on the floor until she was only in her lingerie on Nolan's bed.
Nolan quickly pulled away the t-shirt that obscured a most impressive view. As Sloane turned away and moved towards his bedroom, Nolan followed after, making sure to clean the trail of cast away clothes as he did. He did not want a single disturbance to interrupt the pair this evening. He paused at his doorway, simply watching as the half naked girl crawled like a cat onto his bed. It was an incredible view.
He dropped the pile of clothes to the floor and quickly pulled off his own shirt. It had been twisted around by Sloane anyhow, he did not need it any longer. He dropped the shirt onto the pile of Sloane's clothes, the soft cotton barely making a noise as it hit the ground. Without taking his eyes from Sloane's, he reached back and closed the bedroom door.
