Jade was pretty glad that the bell went when they did, he was close to falling asleep during that last lesson. Why did some teachers make it there lives work to make the most interesting subjects, the most boring of all. He had been happy all morning, he had seen Jeremy at breakfast, which was always a good way to start the day he thought.
Now with most of the day gone however he could admit to a strong urge to kick start his weekend with a bang. It was going to be a lot of fun this weekend, hopefully the weekend would not be blighted by phone calls from people asking dumb questions about a party auction that had been in the works for a while now, and well advertised around the school. He had forgotten how thick some people from California could be, as he plonked himself down on the grass Alex sat down opposite him with a big cheesy grin on his face. For the first time in a long time Jade felt like knocking it of his brothers face, for months they had been getting on well. This week however since their parents disappearing act, Jade had found himself more and more tempted to hit his twin and hit him hard.
"Jonnie seriously smile." Alex growled at him.
"Bugger of Al." Jade said looking at his brother. "I just want to get out of here sooner rather than later." Jade said to him.
"Don't we all? Seriously you've been walking around like a zombie all week." Alex said to him. "Not getting enough of your weekly dose of Jeremy." Alex asked.
"You know its not to late for me to shove your head down the toilet and flush it right." Jade said to him Alex chuckled. "I knew we should have drowned you at birth, two of us is obviously more than the world is ready to handle." Jade said with a grin Alex pouted.
"You know all the right things to say to your twin, when he is helping you out this weekend." Alex said.
"I know your help me out if you want to live in the house for the rest of our parents stay out of country. You can live in the out house, or the foundations of the pool house." Jade said to him. "Of course no bed or pillows for you there, they would be to good for a twin who doesn't help their brother out. No you would sleep on concrete for however long." Jade said.
"Ouch." Alex said but they disolved into laughter. "If we kill our parents we stand to inherit everything, maybe we can get the pilot to crash the plane in the atlantic or something." Alex said to him.
"No thats no good." Jade said to him.
"Why not?" Alex asked with a smile.
"I wouldn't be able to watch them suffer, and after this last week, guess what I want to see them do." Jade said to him with a grin.
"Suffer?" Alex asked.
"Got it in one." Jade said the both laughed dissolving the earlier hostilities as they went.
Tag anyone.

"Hey! Hey, you're Jeremy's boyfriend, aren't you?" Russell hailed the Edwards twins as though they were one entity; he couldn't tell which one was which, but he figured that whoever was dating Jeremy would be the one to answer. Unless they were the mean kind of twin who liked to confuse everyone, but he really hoped that wasn't the case because he knew he'd never be able to tell them apart should they choose to mislead him.
He dropped into a crouch, ready to run should that be necessary -- after all, they were considered Jocks, which meant his mortal enemies (somehow his association with the basketball team did not earn him a truce with those identified as athletes). Still, he needed to talk to them, or whichever one was dating Jeremy. Or rather, he needed to talk to Jeremy but since he couldn't find the dancer he'd have to settle for boyfriend.
"Umm. I need to talk to him." He explained, "cause he's in South Pacific, right, and I misplaced my script and even though I don't have lines it's kind of important to know where stuff happens and I think Ms. Griffith's will kill me if I tell her and could you ask him to make a copy for me? Or I'll make a copy, if he lets me borrow his! I'll give it right back."

Jade looked at the boy but Alex answered for him, "That would be Jade there, you know it gets a little embarrassing when I get mistaken for you right." Alex said to Jade who gave him a withering look.
"Excuse my slightly insane twin brother, yes I'm Jere's boyfriend." Jade said to the boy with a smile. "As for where Jeremy is, hopefully he is on the way here, but he has been busy so I can't honestly say that he will appear for lunch with the non musical inclined people." Jade said with a huge smile. "Got to give him qudos and respect though, kissing your twin is seriously above and beyond the call of duty." Jade added.
"If you need the script before the weekend, you need to see him before school gets out and preferably before the end of the day. Once that bell rings his mine for the weekend and I'm his, we won't be back in town until sunday evening most likely. No later than monday morning." Jade said to him. "Anyway I can text him and ask him to join us if you'd like, I'm sure he won't mind all that much." Jade said as he took his phone out of his pocket and started to type a message soon after. "Dude you should join us." Jade said to him. "I could use someone with intelligence to talk to." Jade said with a grin.

"Sorry, right. Jade is the one dating Jeremy Warner. Got it!" Russ scrutinized the one called Jade, trying to figure out how to tell him apart from his twin. Eventually he realized that he couldn't tell the difference no matter how hard he stared, so he gave up and began pulling up grass instead. "Kinda busy this weekend, anyway. so if he could just magically know I need to talk to him and show up, that would be awesome. Doesn't he eat with you normally? Isn't that a little strange, not eating lunch when you're dating? I dunno, I'd be like...like....a barnacle on a whale if I could be. If I were dating anyone." He added quickly.
"Umm, so your parents let you go out of town together? That's...really awesome, where're you going?" His family would never have allowed that if he'd asked, and Lucas' parents...well, it was just fortunate they didn't know anything at all about their son's relationships or there wouldn't be one.
At Jade's offer he relaxed, dropping from his crouch to an actual sitting position. "You sure you don't mind?" He shot the other twin a nervous look, half expecting that this was one of those horrible jokes where the popular kids eagerly requested companionship and then laughed when you accepted. The mention of intelligence only heightened this perception, as even his friends rarely commented on his intellect in a positive manner.

With orange yogurt and granola in hand, Jeremy made his way to the quad where Jade said he was waiting for him. There was also something about someone from the show, needing their script or needing a copy of one. He felt like a baby sitter sometimes but then students always needed a helping hand sometimes.
He found the three outside enjoying the sunshine. "This had better be important to bring me outside." He winked at Jade then sat beside him giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Of course, your here, that is important!" He nuzzled Jade like it was no one business. "I just can't help myself sometimes." He apologized although it was the truth.
He saw Russell sitting there, looking nervous. Jeremy smiled at him. "I'll have a copy for you on Monday before rehearsal." He promised the dark haired boy. Yes this meant a stop at Kinkos on the way home but one had to make small sacrifces.
He poured the granola into his yogurt and mixed it together. "So my handsome man, I have a meals planned out for tomorrow. Just bring some extra spending money."

Jade grinned at him, "My parents left me to organise a party on their behalf, I'm about the only one they trust of the two of us not to do something wild." Jade said playfully. "Alex here got himself grounded the last time they were away, because of the party he threw at the house which wrecked a couple of rooms a plasma screen and several other things that our parents went nuts about when they got back." Jade added Alex tried to glare at him but that devil may care smile appeared.
"You have to give it to me it was one hell of a party." Alex said to him Jade laughed.
"That it was." Jade said. "As for where we are going, I think the plan stands at a trip to disney, dinner at Jeremy's with his family and camping." Jade said to the boy. "So its going to be a good weekend away from the people at this school and the school full stop." Jade said he was cranky about a few things but the state of play with his shoulder was top of the bill.
"No have a seat." Alex said when the boy asked, the twins may have been many things but one of the best things they were, was that they were friendly. Jade ending up with Jeremy instead of one of the school's wild children like Mike Spuril was an indication of what class meant to the pair. Neither of them put much stock in the hierachy of the school, they considered themselves to be near the top of the pecking order but it never showed.
When Jeremy was seated comfortably he returned the favour of the kiss on the cheek, "Hello gorgeous." he grinned.
Jeremy's insistance that he bring spending money made him chuckle a little, "That won't be an issue honey, I'm sure what ever you have sorted out for dinner is going to be great." Jade said to him. "My puppy may never forgive me for this weekend, but I on the other hand am very much looking forward to this weekend. Its just what my doctor ordered." Jade told him.
"That and you really need to stop him stressing about this party this weekend." Alex said to Jeremy. "My suggestion would be to throw his mobile in a lake or something." Alex added.

Russell threw Alex a thankful look, relaxing fully once the permission of both twins was acquired. "Thanks!!" He decided that they didn't seem so bad, for popular kids, which was reassuring. In fact, they seemed really nice. Probably because they weren't football players, he reasoned. Football players were the worst kind of popular kids, followed closely by cheerleaders.
Relief flooded over him when Jeremy showed up with promises of a new copy of the script on Monday. "Thank yooooou, I was so sure I was gonna be murdered by Ms. Griffiths." He sniffed gratefully.
He watched the interactions between Jade and Jeremy with interest, and not a little envy. They were clearly not only madly in love, but also could care less who knew. "They're really into each other, huh?" He whispered to Alex, "How long've they been together?" He was pretty sure that Jade had been dating Mike earlier in the year; at least, he'd gone to that costume ball with Mike. Mike was definitely not anything like Jeremy, as far as Russell could tell; though he knew Mike better, being in the same grade and all. He didn't really talk to the other boy, though, seeing as he was a football player. A really fun football player, from what he'd heard and seen, but still a football player.
"Your party is Monday, right?" He asked, thinking that sounded about right. He wished he had the means to throw wild parties when his parents went out of town. Of course, his parents never skipped town without the children, so that was pretty much a moot point. Then again, there were more exciting ways to spend a parentless weekend than parties; Lucas could very easily have scheduled a party and invited all the cool kids, but he'd shuffled his siblings off and invited Russ over instead. So that was a something.

Alex looked at the boy with a grin, "For a couple of months I think, maybe longer, I really don't know..." Alex said he didn't know for sure how long they had been together, it didn't really matter either since they both seemed happy. Alex had to deal with the fact that his brother was dating a guy, if any one had a right to be bothered by public shows of affection between the two of them, it would have to be him.
Jade's focus returned to Russel when he realized he had been asked a question, it took him a minute to remember what he had been asked which caused him to blush.
"The party, yes its monday night. Their are no exclusions from the party so every one from both schools are welcome." Jade said to him with a smile. "I may regret that later but who knows or really cares about it either way. I can get some cleaners in to get rid of the mess that will be created, or just have the staff do it for us." Jade said with a small smile. "Or leave it to our parents to do when they come back from there trip." he added. "Alex is making sure everything goes well with deliveries over the weekend, his given up any hope of having a good weekend with his girlfriend to give me a break." Jade said.
"Mutten for punishment." Alex said.
"Theirs always next week for you to do what ever you want." Jade told him giving him his puppy dog eyes.
"Fine, fine, not like I don't owe you a favour." Alex said.
"Al." Jade said.
"Okay I do this favour and another and we will be even." Alex said Jade gave him a look. "I'll do this favour and many more then we will be even." he added.
"You know it." Jade said to him. "So how do you get a non talking part in a musical, you have to sing at some point right, or mime?" Jade asked him.

Jeremy ate his yogurt as the twins bickered with each other. "Mm don't worry, I already warned Jade about being glued to his phone this whole weekend." He gave his boyfriend a decent shoulder squeeze.
"This weekend he gets to be the guest and get waited on, without worry." He wanted everything to be perfect for Jade this weekend.
He gave Russell a smile. "Think nothing of it, we all have to look out for each other. The worse that would happen, is that you'd have to pay for the lost script which is like twenty dollars."
The topic of the party came up. "Oh yeah that reminds me Alex, I was given warning about the rest of your family coming in. I've promised to be on my best behavior for them. Still can't believe there's more like you two out there though." He laughed. "I'll be dressed in my best suit, on the arm of my favorite man." There was this slight rebel side that Jeremy would love to let loose on the family and shock them but he knew it was the best to stay on the good side of the family.

Jade smiled at Jeremy as Alex giggled, "Um two of many counsins honey, you don't get of that easily, eventually your meet the rest of our family. Lets just say that I need to get you and me crash helmets for some of those meetings, others we will just avoid all together." Jade said to him. "Your like the two who are joining us, Mack is a sophmore I think." Jade said to him.
"Yeah Mack is." Alex said to him.
"You just need to be yourself with both of them and they will like you." Jade said thinking that if it had been Mike that he had shown his family they probably would have tried to kill him for it. Jeremy had more than a fighting chance or so he thought, with his family how could he not have. Jeremy was everything that Mike wasn't and then some, no drugs problem for a start. It still hurt that he couldn't help Mike he wanted to, but he would never open up to Jade so he had to deal with that little fact and move on. He would never have thought that Jeremy was the one for him at the start, but it had quickly become that way for him. He trusted Jeremy implicitly which wasn't unusual for him.
"I need to make sure my suit doesn't clash with yours, we need to not match but not clash either." Jade said to him with a grin.
