Time to meet the Family (Izzy Tag Taki/Ben/Eden)

Jett snapped up when Taki said Jett and Eden should ask to practice more. Jett gave Eden a quick look before he busted out laughing, "Your good Taki. That's the best joke I have heard yet." Jett had no idea Taki was being serious. Jett really thought he was joking, "Iz you need to keep him. I like him." Jett told the group. Finally he calmed down a little, but the idea was still so funny. Eden and he did not need practice, given they were doing the real jumping behind closed doors, but only Jett and Eden knew that. "I don't think Eden and I need pratice, we need a miracle." Jett said this time avoiding Eden's look.

Izzy laughed as well when Taki talked about Jett and Eden being friends and jumping. It was just too cute, "Eden and Jett are more like bickering friends. They barely get along." She told Taki, "but you are cute for suggesting it." Izzy told Taki. She had blushed at his earlier sex comment. She dropped her voice once more to a whisper, "We can talk about jumping later." She assured him. Althought that was far from her mind, it was a nice thought.

Jett eyed his sister, "Hey no secrets over there. Or I will spill an embaressing one about you." He told her, "so Ben when I make my famous acting debut, cause we both know Eden is lucky to be playing opposite me, will you be in my Entaruage. You too Taki." Jett said with a big grin, "Don't worry Eden I promise to make you look good." He gave her a quick patt on the shoulder. Which seemed innocent to the group, but to Eden it should mean more.

"Jett! Stop it. No secrets will come from your muoth about me." Izzy told him. Besides she barely had any secrets. Maybe one or two, but nothing too bad. Not that she thought was bad anyway. She hoped, "God and now the inflated ego begins."

Jett placed a hand over his heart, "You wound me dear sister."

Izzy stuck her tongue out at him, "Good."

Jett faked a scoff, "Meanie."

Izzy smirked, "Did you just call me a meanie. Seriously."

Jett just smiled a wide smile, "Yes I did. Now come give me a hug." Jett said laughing as he pulled his sister in for a hug. That's what they did. Normal brother and sister interaction.

Ben's eyes bugged out when Taki suggested Eden and Jett practicing jumping. "Awkward..." he said with a laugh, "Iz, I trust you can explain to him just what that mean," he said with a laugh. He could laugh about it because he knew there was no way in hell anything like that would ever happen. Now if the suggestion had been about Eden and say Cole, he might have been a little more worried about ideas getting into their heads. Ben liked Cole, he thought he was a great guy, but they weren't officially together and he knew Cole's reputation. He was just a little worried that Eden would end up getting hurt. But she'd never listen to him if he told her so, so he was keeping his mouth shut for now and his eyes open, just watching out for her at present.

"Oh yes, here it comes," Ben joined in with Izzy making fun of Jett's ego trip. "I wouldn't go giving Eden tips just yet. She's had you fooled twice, so she must be a better actress than she lets on," Ben pointed out, with another laugh. He didn't want to bring up the drama again, but he knew that it would at least knock Jett's ego down a few notches.

"Oh, Izzy secrets, I wanna hear those," Ben teased, making a face at the other pair of siblings, watching their usual bickering. He and Eden of course pulled the same kind of stuff, but their style was more teasing than bickering really. But then again he and Eden were twins so they had that weird twin thing going on where they tended to always know what the other one was thinking. Or at least that's how they had been. Lately it seemed like Eden had been pulling away. And maybe that's what worried Ben the most.

He smiled over at Taki as Jett and Izzy made up with a hug. "You get used to it," he assured the other boy, figuring that this wasn't the last time he'd see this behavior from Jett and Izzy.

Eden couldn't believe her ears. Did Taki know or something? Was he trying to call them out on it all? No...it was clear that he was just confused. But still...how embarrassing. When Jett started laughing, it made it a little better...lifted some of the tension. He was playing his part and now she had to play hers. She crossed her arms under her chest and scoffed. "Gross," she said simply, shaking her head.

"So what--you think you're the next Vinnie Chase or something," Eden mocked when Jett started talking about his entourage. But she smiled when her brother had her back, pointing out that she had some mad skills as well. "Don't worry Ben, despite what skills I have I'm not going to accepting applications for my entourage any time soon," she said, tossing some of her hair behind her shoulder. Eden hated cameras. They were always on her house when her mom was in town and Eden liked to avoid the media and all the drama that came with it. Jett on the other hand was more the type who liked the attention.

Eden didn't really say much while Jett and Izzy when off on their little spat. Watching them make up, was pretty normal. She was used to it. "Yeah, you totally do," Eden agreed about getting used to this interaction.

"Secrets?" Takumi peered closely at Izzy. "Is there anything I should worry about? You have bones in closet, hai?" No, that wasn't quite right. "Not closet... cupboard. And not bones... whole body... hidden. Skeleton!" Takumi finished in satisfaction as he threw Izzy a rueful grin. "One day I will understand western phrases like that but why would someone even want to hide a lot of bones?"

Taki had a feeling his innocent comment about Jett and Eden practicing had meant something a little different in English. He understood 'jump' in part but clearly not in its entirety as the suggestion had been meant with looks of shock.

Another word he didn't know was 'entourage' but given his mistakes so far Takumi opted to remain in blissful ignorance. It seemed... easier.

Secrets... He'd 'interrogate' Izzy later and if that didn't work he'd try her brother...

He nodded at Ben when he offered assurance to Taki that he'd 'get used to' Jett and Izzy's antics and he smiled in response. He quite liked to watch them tease each other. It was what he expected from siblings really. He did it to some degree with his little sister, Mayuki. Eden, too, joined in and looked to have overcome her annoyance at the roles she and Jett had been given. It still was as confusing as hell as he thought the two friends would have been happy to be acting together but perhaps something other than 'jumping' happened in the play that wasn't to their liking. Perhaps it was like Romeo and Juliet and the characters died or soemthing?

He really needed to see that film!

"I suspect its to cover up a murder. Why else hide the bones, unless you killed the person." Jett said laughing.

Izzy slightly pushed him, "Your jokes have fallen on deaf ears. don't listen to Jett. He thinks he is so funny." Izzy commented. She smiled at Taki, "The skeleton in the closet is an expression. Just another way of saying everyone has a secret hidden somewhere." She said looking at Jett. "Now can you ever have jokes that are actually funny." She said laughing.

Jett shurgged, "I thought it was funny and thats all that matters. No I do not find myself the next vinnie...maybe the next Denzel.." Jett said striking a pose, that just seemed arrogant and fed his ego more.

"Okay thats enough..I say lunch is over, before Jett's ego suffocates us all." Izzy said with a smirk. She once again leaned against Taki's body. "You get use to him. He means well." Izzy told Taki. Although Jett was a good sport. he knew his jokes were not funny, but he did not care. Its a kind of confidence Izzy wished she had.

Jett just eyed them all. "I am very funny, you are are just jealous I got the lead in the school play. eden you should feel lucky. I am sure many girls would love to be in your shoes." again his words meant more to Eden then to the others. It was a tactic to strike a little jealousy and drive her crazy, but to the group it just seemed like his ego was kicking in.

Then the bell rang, "Time to Jett...hey look thats my name..get it..jett." Jett said laughing. "See you all later. Taki nice to meet you..I like you...Izzy he is a keeper." Jett waved to the group as he took off.

Izzy turned to Eden adn Ben, "I am really glad for you eden, even if the male lead is not so great." Izzy was only joking. "See you both around." Izzy grabbed Taki's hand and smiled up at him, "Thanks for a great lunch." She told Taki.

As much as Jett's ego could be annoying, Ben couldn't help but find it funny. He laughed along, not really making any comments. He knew that if he said anything or agreed that he'd just end up pissing off his sister which he didn't really feel like. But momentarily it was the Jettson Chen show and he just wasn't stopping. Ben could tell by the look on Eden's face that she wasn't pleased either. He was sure he hadn't heard the last of the whole play thing. In fact Eden would probably be complaining all through rehearsals up until the day the play actually debuted.

"Yeah, it was really great meeting you, man," Ben said, offering his hand to Taki as they started to break up at the end of the period. "Let me know when you wanna try surfing, either sometime next week, next weekend, whenever, I'm always down," he said with a smile. "Anyway, I should take off. Jett, give me a call this weekend, don't really have any plans but I'm picking up some herbal refreshments this afternoon," he said talking about weed. "Bye, Izzy, Taki," he said with a smile.

"See ya later," he added finally to his sister. He pulled out the remainder of hid weed out of his pocket and covertly passed it off to his sister since he was meeting his dealer after school anyway. With that, Ben waved at the group once more before taking off.

Eden couldn't stand when Jett went on his ego trip. Even worse he had to point out that they were hooking up once again. Yeah...maybe no one else had picked up on it but Eden had. She mostly stayed quiet. She'd make Jett pay for it later. More annoyingly though, she knew as he said it that she was stuck with him. Even though there was another guy playing Danny and another girl playing Sandy, they had been assigned the same nights. And Eden couldn't switch. She had no choice but to stay with Jett, because as awkward as it would be to work with him in the play, it would have been even worse watching another girl play the part.

"Yeah, I should probably head out," she agreed as they started breaking up since the period was ended. Ben took off first, mentioning that he was picking up more pot after school, and even gave her the remainder of his stash. Perfect, she could bring it on her date with Cole, she thought to herself.

"Anyway, awesome meeting you, Taki," she said to Izzy's boyfriend. "We should should double sometime," she offered, "Cole and I aren't like official or anything but we're going out again today, and he's writing me a song," she boasted, mostly because Jett was standing there and she wanted to make him jealous. "Plus, I think you guys would get along," she said with a smile. "Anyway, I'll call ya later Iz," she added, just as the bell started to ring. "Better go, bye," she said, waving as she took off out of the cafeteria.

Takumi smiled at Jett as they exchanged farewells and then did the same with Ben. "I would definitely like to try surfing, Ben-chan," he stated with another smile. "Thank you for including me." A miniscule dip of his head accompanied that part. "And in return I would be honoured to tell you about Japanese herbal remedies," he added in reference to Ben's comment about refreshments. Of course, he hadn't a clue what the other boy had really been referring to. "Green tea in particular is most good. I have many sorts at home but my favourite would have to be matcha. I can make some for you if you would like it."

Ben grinned and waved to Izzy and then Takumi before departing before his sister also said she had to leave.

"It was very good to meet you also, Eden, and I hope your jumping with Jett proves more pleasurable than it seems you are expecting. I would like to meet Cole," he added. Her boyfriend? Perhaps. Or maybe Eden was doing what Evan told him happened a lot in America and seeing more than one person at the same time. Takumi still found that concept very confusing and was why he'd decided to hold back from asking Lia out on a date. It seemed wrong somehow. As a friend, yes, they would meet up but while he and Izzy were together he knew that was all that would happen.

He waited for the last of their lunch companions to leave before turning to Izzy. He smiled at her and dropped a quick kiss onto the tip of her nose. "They are fun people," he said. "And your brother was nothing like I expected... or feared," he added with a short laugh. "I'm glad to find out he didn't want to hit me after all and look forward to getting to know him some more. But we should head for class, hai?" He was already in enough hot water from earlier that morning and the prospect of clearing the quadrangle of rubbish after school for the next 5 days held an appeal that rated somewhere between nil and zero. Still, he'd escaped far more lightly than he'd thought and so wasn't about to complain!
