Time to meet the Family (Izzy Tag Taki/Ben/Eden)

[Eden Patridge]

Eden was annoyed Jett...those looks. He was going to have to stop giving them to her or someone was bound to figure it all out. After all, they were standing there before the two people who knew them both more than anyone else. If anyone was to figure out that they were sleeping together, it was probably Ben or Izzy. Any look or gesture that seemed off could tip them off. Eden would have to discuss the with Jett later. Or would that discussion lead to what their last discussion led to? Man, what had she gotten herself into.

"You wish," she said when Jett said he'd schooled her in surfing. She wasn't going to let him have that. She glared at him as if to mentally tell him to stop, although she doubted it would work. She didn't know what he and Izzy had spoke about in Korean but she'd ask Izzy later. Izzy usually told her.

Eden perked up when the kid hurried by saying the cast list for Grease had been posted. Eden had auditioned and had thought that it had gone pretty well. She made a mental note to check the list before the end of the period. But then Jett announced that he had auditioned and wanted to go and see what part he'd gotten. Eden's eyes widened, bugging out a little bit. "You auditioned for the play?" she asked, in disbelief. "I auditioned..." she said, a little worried. She didn't know how good Jett's audition had been given that she didn't know what part he'd get--but he'd certainly get something, she knew that much. He wouldn't get cut and neither would she. No matter what parts they had they'd end up spending time together at rehearsals.

"I'm going to go look," she said, as she started heading over, sort of expecting everyone else to just follow.

"You had better be careful, Izzy," he added. "Once I am learning Korean I will be able to understand what passes between you and your brother!" He grinned as he spoke, knowing in his heart nothing said would have been bad about him. At least, not on Izzy's part!

The arrival of the shouting student caused them all to look at the boy. Eden sprang to her feet, saying something about auditioning... A word Takumi didn't know. He stored it in the back of his brain. He would ask Izzy about it later - when they were alone and he wouldn't come across like a dumb foreigner.

"What is... Grease?" asked Takumi as he got to his feet to follow after the quickly vanishing girl. "Grease? Like oil?" He blinked in confusion. "Why would something like that cause so much excitement?" He shrugged slightly and threw Izzy a grin. "Are you playing in this grease too?" He might not really understand but if Izzy was connected to it then he'd be interested to see what it was all about.

They drew to a halt at the back of a small group that had gathered around the noticeboard. Whatever the announcement was about it was definitely earning itself a heck of a lot of interest!

Izzy had no idea Jett auditioned either. She never would have thought to audition for the play. Izzy was not a fan of acting because of how i had made her mother act. Although she loved her mother, her mother was very critical and was barely ever home. "And when I begin to speak Japanese you better watch out..." She said laughing as they walked to see the play sheet.

"Ben if you ever said no to surfing I would be shocked." Izzy told her best guy friend. Ben was great. See girls could be friends with guys. It was easy. Although Izzy had to admit she had harbored a small crush on Taki since they met and now look.

"Eden you auditioned....why didn't you tell me...I would have gone for moral support." Her friend s forever surprising her. Jett just eyed Eden. "Really....you auditioned....I can see that...I think..." Jett really wasn't sure. Eden did not seem like she was into acting.

Izzy let her friends look. She smiled up as Taki as if she played in grease....and if it was oil...that just made Taki so damn attractive when he got mixed up. "No..grease is a play...and a movie...you need to come over...A movie night...just you...me and some popcorn.....and movies...one will be grease. I assure you this has nothing to do with oil." she told Taki.

"And me..." Jett said..."You think I am going to leave you both alone in the house...forget it little sister...." Jett said giving Taki a look.

Izzy just glared, "I am not you....just because I am alone with Taki does not mean i will jump him...thats what you do to any woman with in ten feet wearing a skirt.... Look Eden is wearing a skirt...go jump her..Remember I am not you....I am not sex cazed.." Izzy said annoyed Jett would even imply such a thing. Although the idea of Taking bed had crossed her mind, but she was not about to to let Jett make is seem thats what she wanted the night to be for...

Jett still looked at them for a second before walking over to the list and scanned it, "Alright...I am Zuko." He totally missed what Taki had said. "And who is my lovely Sandy..." He scanned and then his jaw literally dropped..it was...it was.....holy crap..Eden. This was going to be bad, very bad....Jett had no idea how to even begin to react so for now he stayed quiet and just looked.

Ben just grinned when Izzy mentioned that he'd never turn down surfing. That was true indeed. There really was nothing he enjoyed more. He'd even pick surfing over getting baked if he had to choose but luckily he didn't have to.

"Oh yeah...you did mention that, didn't you," he said to his sister when she said that she'd auditioned for the play. "You auditioned too, Jett?" he said with a laugh. "Imagine you two actually having to be in the same place at the same time without our supervision," he joked. Laughing more when Taki suggested that grease was oil. "Yeah, let Izzy show you the movie. I'm not really into musicals but its actually pretty good," Ben admitted.

He rolled his eyes at Jett when he suggested supervising Izzy on her date. "Yeah, I think Iz can handle herself," Ben said. "If anyone should be worried about their sister, it's me," Ben said. He of course was referring to Eden's new look and the fact that she was dating Cole. Sure Cole wasn't her boyfriend or anything but that almost worried Ben more. He knew the other boy's reputation. But Taki seemed like a good guy....the kind of guy you'd want your sister to be dating.

He stood back with Izzy and Taki while Jett and Eden checked the cast list. He stuffed his hands in his back pockets, waiting for his friend and sister to share which roles the landed.

Eden was slightly ahead of the group but turned back when she overheard Jett trying to ruin Izzy's date. Luckily Ben seemed to have Izzy's back. But why was he worried about her? He wasn't onto her and Jett, was he? The fact that he was referring to Cole, escaped Eden's mind. Had Cole been there she would have put two and two together but she was dealing with the drama that was Jett at the moment and she sort of had a one track mind.

But then Izzy suggested Jett jump her which made Eden completely stop in her tracks. "I know you're trying to make a point, Izzy, but could you please use someone else to do with is?" she asked. The last thing I want is Jett getting any bad ideas," she said in a snotty tone. Jett however took that moment to push ahead of the group to look at the cast list, not commenting on what Izzy said.

Eden just shook her head before stalking off to join him. When she reached the front, Jett was standing there sort of just gaping. "What did you get cut or something," she said, rolling her eyes and she looked at the list. "Oh! I got the lead! Wow," she said with a smile. "Let's see who my Danny is..." And that's when she realized why Jett was so speechless. Eden groaned and walked away to join Ben, Izzy, and Taki. She did not look happy. "Fuck. My. Life. I got the part of Sandy, one guess who fucking Danny is," Eden said angrily. Eden usually wasn't one to curse much, but this seemed to be a special case.

Ah, so Grease was a play. How could he be so stupid? Takumi mentally slapped himself around his face but at the same time his misunderstanding was understandable. After all, the words *did* mean oil... right? "I would like to watch the movie with you, Izzy," he replied with a smile. "But what means 'jump'? You wish to fight with me?" Why would she want to do that? It had to mean something else!

Jett spoke at that moment, seemingly pleased by the role he'd been given. The same, though, couldn't be said of Eden who swore as might a member of the armed forces and with such a vehemence Takumi was slightly taken back for a few seconds. "Sandy isn't a good role?" he asked. "Which one did you want? If it is the lead then I would have thought you'd be more happy." Confusion reigned once more. Actually, that seemed to be rapidly becoming the norm for Yoshino Takumi.

"Who is playing Danny then? Are he and Sandy together in the play?" He shot Izzy a glance. "I think the sooner you show me this movie the better!" Maybe then he'd be at least able to follow a portion of this conversation!

Jett just eyed Eden, "Not give me ideas...you wish I had those ideas...please..." Jett said going along with the whole he would enver want Eden, but he shot her a look. He just stood still as Eden walked back to he group. He quickly joined then and smiled, "I am....I play Danny opposite Eden for two nights of the play." Jett smiled wide.

"Pucker up Eden....you know this is a dream come true for you." Jett said joking around. It was either that or he act like Eden buy saying fuck his life. Which actually this made things more itneresting. Besides if he acted like Eden, no doubt Izzy and Ben would get suspicious. This was Jett being Jett and of course he had to crack fun she had to play his opposite. Cause he would do that. "Seriously though....this might be awkward...." He scratched his head for a moment.

Izzy looked at Taki,. God he was great. When he asked about jumping meaning fighting she just leaned up and gave him a kiss. He was so hot when he did that. "It does mean fighting, but not in this case. In this case, jumping refers to sex. To say you want to jump someone, means yo want to have sex with them." She whisered this of course so as not to embaress herself when she talked about, because as she said it, her cheeks turned dark red.

She looked back once Jett and Eden announced the parts they had, "You both...are the leads....no way...no...thats just...weird..." She told them..."I mean congrats, but weird."

Jett looked at his sister. "Thanks I think..." He started to laugh. "Life loves to throw surpsies at us doesn't it."

Ben was kind of shocked when Eden started her storm of cursing. It's not that he'd never heard her curse before or anything but he wasn't used to her mouth being quite so fowl. And of course, only one person could cause it to be so. He was just about to say so when Jett walked up and announced that it was him with a big grin on his face. Ben wasn't really sure how he felt about it. But then Jett admitted that it would be awkward. Good...that was more of the attitude he wanted.

"Yeah, it will," he agreed. He couldn't even imagine watching the two of them together on stage let alone having to do it. He completely understood why his sister was so angry. Jett really got on Eden's nerves. It would be a stretch for them to act like they liked each other, let alone playing the romantic opposites of each other--or at least so Ben thought.

Ben sort of chuckled and Taki's comments but left it to Izzy to explain. He seemed like a fun guy to have around and he was glad for Izzy. He watched from the corner of his eye as she blushed while talking to him. He kind of wondered what it was about but he was of course too much of a gentleman to ask.

"Yeah...totally weird," Ben agreed with Izzy. Taking a step closer to his sister he draped his arm over her shoulder. "But it's okay, I'm sure you'll get over it," he told his sister, although secretly he wasn't so sure.

Eden stood there sort of annoyed while everyone else talked about how weird it would be, them playing the romantic leads. Everyone thought it was weird and they didn't even know the half of it. As much as Eden hated to admit it...she and Jett had chemistry. When they were alone together...when no one else was around...when it was just the two of them. How was that going to transfer when they were on stage together...when they'd have to kiss and stuff? This whole thing seemed like a huge mess, and it was seriously starting to stress her out.

Ben comforted her slightly, but not enough. She glared at him, giving him a look, that hopefully he'd understand...a look that said, how are we ever going to deal with this? "Yeah...I guess I'll just have to manage," she said with a sigh. "At least the scenes where I get to yell at him will be fun," she said, perking up slightly, mostly for show though as if that was the bright side. It wasn't. The whole thing was a mess and she really had no one to talk about it with. No one except Jett, because he was the only one who knew.

At least she had a date with Cole later. She'd had fun with him before and he'd actually managed to take her mind off of Jett which was rare these days. It was something that Eden needed. Mostly because if it was possible, since they'd started sleeping together, Jett was driving her crazy even more.

Takumi was starting to understand... he thought. Unfortunately comprehension was, in reality, far from the case. "Aah... I see. So Sandy and Danny have to do this jump in the play? Yes?" He leaned a little closer to Izzy to add in a whisper, "I like the sound of that activity," he told her with a smile that could only really be described as impish. His smile deepened when his comment caused Izzy to blush even more. She was so cute when she blushed. He made a mental note to try and cause that to happen more often in the future.

He turned back to Eden and offered her a reassuring smile. "Perhaps if you explain to the producer then they will allow you more opportunities to practice this jumping with Jett. It would become easier after you do it a few times!"

Practice was said to make for perfection, after all... wasn't it?

"But it's good you have the role you wanted. And also good that you are to act with Jett who is your friend!" He'd been absolutely oblivious to any tension between the two of them. Hardly a surprise given him main focus had been to ensure he didn't piss off his girlfriend's older brother!
